21 years ago Dr. Leuchter saved my life. I had 3rd stage ovarian cancer. He took care with every detailed question that I had and put me at ease. How could he not have worn himself out after my 7 1/2 hour surgery with chemo follow up and a second look a year later? He even made me laugh! The most brilliant and caring doctor ever!

Dr. Leuchter saved my life 17 years ago when I was diagnosed with 3rd stage uterine cancer. He is a brilliant physician, a caring human being and always takes the time to make you laugh. I recommend him with all my heart.

I wrote a review of Dr. Leuchter In January of this year (on Yelp). I suggest you read it if you are in need of a surgeon. I have now had 3 follow ups with Dr. Leuchter and my final one is in about a month. A regular surgeon would have sent me packing back to my OB/GYN a couple visits ago, but Dr. Leuchter knows I am super comfortable with him. You see he fixed me and I am great. I won't go into detail, because yuk, but assume it safe to say I had ever reason to be scared (again) and ever reason to search out the best doctor, even if I had to leave the State. The best was 25 minutes from my front door. I am a lucky woman. Dr. Leuchter personally sees his patients for every follow up. You do not get a staff member or one of his Fellows, you see Dr. Leuchter and you get as much time as you want with Dr. Leuchter and all your questions are answered. I simply can not recommend him enough. I have had many health issues so sad for me, but good for the reader, I know what I am talking about. He is just great. You will know you are safe. You will know he cares about you. He will not make you feel like an idiot. He will never, ever rush you. You will not wait an hour passed your appointment time. Dr. Leuchter knows what he is doing and he keeps up with all the latest research in his field. Dr. Leuchter works with his patients and listens to see what they want, what they need. He knows all of your medical history before the first visit, he is not sitting there reading. He has already done that and in my case that was not a small file. Dr. Leuchter is simply a great surgeon. I have one of the best Oncologists in the Country for reasons I won't bore you with. He said, "Go to Dr. Leuchter." I am alive. I am well. I have no scars that you can even see--I can't find them anymore and it has been only 6 months. When the fear of cancer or some other horror making nightmare comes to your door and I hope it never does, and you need an OB/GYN Surgeon, you go to Dr. Leuchter. You will be so happy you did. Dr. Leuchter Is so very special, considerate, professional and so GREAT. He was wonderful to my family as well as to me. His staff was all terrific, caring & knowledgeable. As a retired Registered Nurse I can say he is the best doctor I have ever had for anything. I wish we had him here in Palm Desert, Ca. He treats you as a real person not just another Patient. I can't say enough good things about the care I received from him and his staff. Thanks so much for making a scary time comfortable.
