Dr. Roger Leon Taylor

Dr. Taylor did a full robotic hysterectomy. I would say he pretty much saved me. Nobody else would help me, they all just did test or ultrasounds for over five years to find out why I wouldn’t stop bleeding and constantly turned me away and said all my test looked fine. My iron dropped at a alert low, my primary started me on infusions- my periods were all day everyday for over five years- finally after a ER visit for low hemoglobin and low iron, a nurse recommended me over to Dr.Taylor… I can not thank her and him enough. He is so amazing! He explains everything down to the detail- he gives you choices and listens to your concerns fully. I have never met such an amazing doctor. Truly one of a kind. He did the hysterectomy and found my uterus was giant and had a huge fibroid in it. Healing process was a couple weeks at most for me and Tiny small incisions that are all healed and you can’t even see them . I’m back to my normal life and feeling amazing!! Highly recommend!! Dr Taylor took the time to listen to me and he explained the reasons I was experiencing problems/changes with my cycle. He is very knowledgeable and will take time with his patients.

Dr Taylor is amazing so for him 5/5 stars. 99% of the nurses were great and friendly, I’ve had multiple bad experiences with one of the “older” nurses there. She gave me terrible medical advice, I am so thankful that I called back a few days later and spoke to another nurse who advised me on the correct path to get blood work which showed I needed to be on a supplement. I whole heartedly believe that if I wouldn’t have called back and talked to another nurse I would have lost my baby that I’m currently 11 weeks with. Sad to leave Dr. Taylor because he is truly a compassionate and caring doctor but one of the nurses in that office really had no clue what is going on. Dr. Taylor has helped me so many times. Regular exams and surgeries. He has the Best bed side manor and makes you feel so comfortable. Great sense of humor!! His entire staff is so kind and courteous. :)

Dr. Taylor did a c-section, which is now opening and needs to be repaired.

Excellent, he listened attentively to my concerns which is very important to me. He explained all of the options and the risks and benefits. We developed a plan and the final plan was a vaginally hysterectomy. From start - pre op lab work, medical clearance, preop, surgery and recovery The attentiveness of the staff at Dr Taylor’s office located across from St Mary’s was great. Kind, caring group of people. Thank you for taking such great care of me!

Dr. Taylor delivered both of my children. I had complications with one (vaginal wall hematoma). My biggest concern is the robotic assisted total hysterectomy. Although I asked the proper questions, I do not feel that I received frank responses when inquiring about complications. Nor do I feel that he was honest in divulging his surgical success rate. I suffered serious complications which required treatment of a urologist and a pelvic reconstructive specialist resulting in 15 months of pain.
