I've been dealing with a chronic vocal injury for around 9 months now and wanted a second opinion aside from my initial Dr.'s. I thought that UCI would be a good place to start. Boy was I wrong. Dr. Crumley acted incredibly hurried like he didn't had time for me, and even had the audacity to say "I'm running behind schedule and I need to make this quick." He took a look at my throat with the throat camera device and said that nothing was wrong, which, how he put it, was "both good and bad news." He said that there was nothing that he could treat. When I asked how long it would take for this to heal he literally told me, "3 months to 30 years, it all depends on your lifestyle," and then walked out of the room. No plan of action other than prescribing me some otc medication for my Acid reflux. No assistance with the pain. No recommendations. Nothing. If you read this, do yourself a favor and find another Doctor in-network; this guy is terrible and isn't worth it.
Terrible doctor and bedside manner. I waited for months to see him, had to go through 3 different anti-biotics for sinus infections and the man couldn't give me the time of day. I barely got one question out of my mouth before he snapped at me that he didn't have time, another patient was waiting and she had already left once and filled a compliant over how long he took to see her.

Dr. Crumley afforded me a new, higher quality of life with ELMA surgery. The outcome was better than expected and without any post-operative complications. Years later he was available to me answering questions, and providing me with requested information.
