Kind an professional, a real gentleman!

I had double cataract replacement surgery. I'm relatively young for that. The procedures went flawlessly and I was comforted to know that I was in the hands of one of the most reknowned and skilled eye surgeons anywhere. The results are amazing. My vision is literally better than ever in my life. Thank you Dr. Kaldawy.

I was very pleased with the results of my cataract surgery by Dr Kaldawy. He is a very skilled surgeon. I also would like to express my thanks to the entire staff at the surgery center. They are without a doubt the best in the field. Very competent, pleasant and compassionate.

Staff very professional, office clean and brand new, equipment the latest, never had a more detailed examination...but the best is Dr Kaldawy. A gentleman, compassionate and skilled doctor...and I am forever thankful for the 20/20 he gave me.

Maybe he’s a great surgeon, but don’t expect getting your questions answered. Wish I never had my surgery done here. Don’t bother asking about an issue, he just lets you know he’s a skilled surgeon. I don’t feel like he has any empathy or compassion. From the surgical coordinator to the surgeon it’s like dealing with robots. Don’t ask questions and just sign here. FIND SOMEONE WHO HAS THE TIME TO SPEND WITH YOU! You’ll wait 3 hrs for 2 minutes of his time. Is the choice of lens the best for you or for his pocket. Disappointed….especially when most people who’ve gone elsewhere have a positive experience and results.

Have been seeing Dr. Kaldawy for the last couple of years and he has always been very professional, honest and caring. I have been wearing glasses since my late 20's and his year I had Cataract laser surgery performed by Dr. Kaldawy. I opted to go with the Vivity Trifocal IOL implant which was a great choice for me. I now have 20/20 vision and do not need glasses for either distance or close up. Dr Kaldawy and his entire staff were great during this entire process and would definitely recommend Dr Kaldawy for anyone looking for a great eye doctor and surgeon.

My experience at MFEC with Dr. kaldawy and staff has been exceptional from start to finish. Everyone is pleasant and professional. Having my eye site back to 20/20 is a gift. I would recommend Dr. Kaldawy to anyone

Upon contracting a nasty eye infection rendering my right eye almost blind, and unable to get an immediate appointment with my Primary Care Doc's (PCP) medical group, it was with a bit of trepidation I selected Dr Kaldawy's practice from an online list of practices close to my home. Turns out my concerns were totally unfounded: not only did I find myself in very competent and knowledgeable hands under the Doctor's care, the entire practice was as professional as any with whom I've worked in any medical discipline. His support team reflects the best practices he espouses; you can tell they really like working there - their attitudes and professionalism are remarkably competent, positive and friendly. Bottom line: after less than two weeks and a well-orchestrated care and med program, my sight has almost fully returned. That's getting it done. I have been seeing Dr. Kaldaway for many years. I just had both cataracts removed from my eyes. I chose to go with the laser surgery and the Acrysof IQ PanOptic lens. I now have 20/20 vision and no longer need to wear glasses. The staff at Dr Kaldawy’s office are very welcoming and professional. I can not say enough about the staff at the surgical center. They made me comfortable and well taken care of. The surgery was painless and very quick. I highly recommend Dr Kaldawy and the type of surgery. It was worth every penny spent. I am someone who has spent her entire life paranoid about her eyes touched. I was able to fudge my way through most of it until age caught up with me and I could not drive anymore, read a book, loo at any type of screen or see a wall menu in a restaurant. I knew it was time to see an ophthalmologist . My son took me to Dr. Kaldawy because my grandson had seen a specialist there. Everyone I encountered from the office staff to the technicians to the nurses was wonderful and made me feel comfortable. Dr Kaldawy did a great job and I can see better I have in years. The gift of sight is priceless but I could have never received it without the encouragement of all the great people at this practice. Dr Kaldawy is a real gentleman, an artist and my hero for life.

Doctor Kaldawy is a wonderful, carrying physician, who demonstrates his professionalism and sensitivity to each patient he services. My wife and I have been his patients for may years and highly value him as a person of knowledge, expertise and personal care.

You waste 2 hours sitting around in a room with other cranky patients. Staff is not friendly. There is no need for appointments to be scheduled this way. I must say he is a good doctor, but I have found a better fit with more up to date equipment, friendly staff and respect for my time with a more complete exam and a doctor who explained everything to me including pictures.

The wait time is atrocious. Be prepared for a long wait

I had 2 amazing experiences when I had both eyes done with laser surgery. It was so good and I was extremely happy and satisfied with Dr. Kaldawy's expertise. Excellent surgeon. The wait is worth having the best operate on my eyes. They inform you from the beginning that there is a 2-3hour wait during you appointment. The doctor must be great to have so many patients. His staff is outstanding. I know a lot of people complain that he doesn't sit with them and chat but he is there for your eyes not to be your fiend. He always answered all my questions. I have had both eyes operated on and would recommend him to everyone.

It took two three hours visits to accomplish what my new surgeon did in two. Mostly waiting in the overcrowded Milford office. The Franklin office was better run and more testing was done, but it still demonstrated a complete lack of care for patients time. I lost over eight hours of work and I am self employed. They also did not set my expectations that the second visit would be prolonged. Furthermore Dr. Kaldway told me I needed both eyes operated on when my new surgeon said the other eye was not medically necessary (his opinion) and indeed, leaving it alone was the best outcome for me, as I need my intermediate vision and most patients are automatically set to far sighted. I think I saw Kaldawy for a total of ten minutes in two visits and he was generally rude and uninformative. His surgical assistant was very nice and informative, but I still lacked enough info. He also insisted on laser assisted surgery for $1500/eye which is not covered by insurance or necessary.

An hour behind at 845 am - always pack a meal to come to this office- sometimes he is hours behind- overbooks his appointment- when you are checking in and there is a stack of atleast 100 charts- that is a patient every 4.8 minutes for 8 hours straight ? Cut back a little and provide a better service to your patients.

I had an emergency on a Saturday, Dr. Roger was so great and helpful. He responded immediately and sent a prescription in a timely manner. I would highly recommend everyone to his office.

I just want to thank Dr. Kaldawy and his staff for a wonderful job. I would recommend Milford Franklin Eye Care to my family and friends, or anyone that has to have cataract surgery.

HORRIBLE!!!! Had brought my list of questions being a new patient. He was very rude to me and had no desire whatsoever to answer any of my questions. Told me I was too "anxious" to be his patient. Refused to even perform my surgery. Of course I was anxious, I was a new patient having just been told my eyes are very bad. And now my doctor is telling me he doesn't want to deal with me. He told me I would have to go to Boston. That is way too far for me to drive. I feel I wasted my time and the expense for nothing. Now I have to start all over and find another surgeon to do my surgery. DO NOT GO HERE! He is not a nice man.

I had the multi-focal lens implanted to correct my cataract. I couldn't be happier with my vision and I can't wait for the other eye to be done. Aside from being a highly skilled surgeon with lots of surgeries under his belt, Dr. Kaldawy's calm and kind manner helped alleviate any fears I had. I highly recommend him!

Wait times are RIDICULOUS!! Last time I was there for almost 4 hours!!! So unprofessional and uncaring !! I also felt I had to “pull” information out of the doctor. He was always in such a rush I felt like he couldnt wait to leave to get to his next patient. I can’t believe I stayed as a patient in his practice for so long. My mistake for sure.

Having just undergone laser cataract surgery on both eyes I can recommend Dr. Kaldawy without reservation. His extraordinary skill, patience and ability to explain the complexities of this surgery in easily understandable ways was very consoling. I had an excellent experience at the hands of a surgeon with superior skills. I now have 20/20 vision in both eyes after having worn glasses since I was a child!

Dr. Kaldawy is a great doctor. He and his staff are thorough and knowledgeable. He seems to really care and patiently answers all of my questions. After seeing him for several years, I will be having laser eye surgery later this year. I have complete faith in Dr. Kaldawy’s surgical skill. My only complaint is the wait time, but I know it is because he doesn’t rush with his patients and has to see patients with emergencies. I make sure to bring something to read while I’m waiting.

He was not only cold and unwilling to answer my questions but he was outright insulting and rude. Hands down worst doctor experience of my life. Not to mention he overbooked so severely that tons of us sat in the waiting room for 3 hours for a two minute appointment he surely charges our insurance companies hundreds of dollars for. Wish I could give 0 stars.

I'm always a person to give positive feedback when it's earned. I don't usually give negative feedback, unless my experience is beyond just an obvious one off bad day. Most of the staff at the office is great. The doctors are knowledgeable and the gentleman in the eye glass shop is awesome. My experience with the front desk staff in the past few weeks has been terrible. I had an appointment in 2016 that was covered by my medical insurance. When I kept receiving bills in 2016 to pay my bill, I kept calling the office to ask why, since it should be paid by insurance. I guess they were billing an old insurance company. A few months went by, no more bills and so I assume it's all taken care of. A year and a half later, I am scheduled to be at my appointment and I'm told I can't come in because I have a balance. I'm totally confused at this point and annoyed because I dealt with this a year or more ago. The thing is, had I been treated with respect and understanding, this wouldn't be an issue. But, instead I was juggled between multiple different people, all with the worst customer service skills, and was told I'm one of 1,000's of customers, we can't get back to everyone. It was noted in my file that they made a mistake and sent my claim to the wrong insurance company. That it's my issue and I owe them $800! Anyway, in the end, Karen in billing, who is professional and helpful, said she would look into it, try to get it paid and will call me back, because I'm not just one a 1,000 and unimportant. Thanks Karen! Anyway, just be sure if you visit this office you keep track of your bills and follow up, they will not follow up with you. I decided to go to BJ's Optical because I need new glasses and I can't go to this office, which is a shame, I liked the doctor. If you are going to run an office like this, you need to hire a professional office staff. Horrible practice! Longest wait times ever. Staff is very rude. Do not go here! You will wait 2 hrs and then some for an appointment.

Wait time alway over 3 hours. Incorrectly placed toric lens that has led to many problems and visits to specialist in Boston. Cannot correct his mistake without dire consequences. He continually told me the lens was perfect every time I said there was something wrong.

Not understanding what everyone's problem is??? They TELL you to allow at least 2 hours when making an appointment. So allow for at least two hours. If they get behind it is usually because a patient has to be set up for a procedure immediately. How do I know this, I was one of those patient's. Dr. Kaldawy and Dr. Lashkari are EXCELLENT. When dealing with your eyes I would think the physician is the primary part of the equation. Deal with the other issues and go with the BEST physicians.

Waited 2 hours to see Dr. Kaldawy. And he spent about 10 Minutes with me. I am sorry very disappointed. My appointment was at 8:15 Am Dr. Kaldawy did not come into the building until 0930am.

Dr Kaldawy did an excellent job with my eye surgeries. My vision is awesome and I don't have to wear glasses anymore. I got the multi focal lense and so no reading glasses either. I've never had a problem with my appointment scheduling. They call to remind me of my upcoming appointments. I agree the wait time on the day of the appointment is long, but he is worth the wait.

The office staff are rude, you will have to wait at least 2 hours for a routine appointment. You are shuffled from waiting room to waiting and then see physician for a very short visit. He seems like a nice man who is knowledgeable. He was a bit rushed and not available to answer questions. Error made on prescription and it took more than 3 hours, many phone calls and rude/inappropriate responses to get the issue corrected. I'll be heading elsewhere.

Called TWICE to cancel an appointment....still got the automated reminder, called again....they had NOT cancelled the appointment !!!! If you keep in mind they charge you a no show fee.....

Doctor Kaldawy is a wonderful physician and a phenomenal surgeon! I would not go anywhere else! I am a retired optician and spent my entire professional life working with eye doctors. This is the center to go to. This is a medical eye care practice and provides the best eye care I have ever witnessed. In all my professional experience, I have never seen better eye exams performed and better surgical results produced. I take my elderly parents to this practice, my husband goes there and so do my kids. We have never seen such compassionate and skilled staff and doctor. We get checked by an optometrist or experienced technician first and then again, by the medical doctor...each time...which is rare these days. This is my eye center for life! spent a total of six hours over the course of two visits in his Franklin MA office. Out of this time 10 minutes was spent with him. Seems like a nice guy but you are so angry about being treated like cattle that it is tough to give an unbiased review

Worst experience I have ever had! If problem does not resolve do not bother calling because he won't be interested.

If you have high deductible in your insurance, don't ever visit this eye doctor. The office will bill you as a medical visit if you wear glasses instead of routine visit and will cost you more money. It also will be a very long wait in the office to see this doctor after the nurse does the prescription.

I had a short initial visit with Dr. Kaldawy, where he gave me a new diagnosis with no explanation, an ineffectual treatment, and no plans for follow up. He left before I could ask any questions, and after researching on my own, I made a follow up visit to ask questions. In another short visit, I asked a few questions and stated the treatment wasn't working. He said he didn't have time to take care of me, so I should go see another doctor instead. On top of that, his billing department did not take my information down correctly, and despite multiple phone calls, refused to correct their information, and continued to insist I owe them the full amount for the visits (as opposed to my copay). I called my insurance company multiple times to confirm that I had coverage and the required referrals, and the insurance company gave me instructions on what the billing company needed to do. I called the billing company again, but the representative refused to listen to the directions my insurance company gave for correcting the error, wouldn't get a manager to help, and even hung up on me. Great customer service! I was finally able to reach a manager who seems to have corrected the error, though I still have yet to receive a corrected bill.
