Update: 02/05/2023-Thank you Dr. Hulme for sending me the correct prescription!!! 02/02/2023- Dr. Hulme was fantastic but the receptionist staff not so much. I had my appointment back on 01.02.2023 and still do not have the new rx from my visit. I was told the new rx would be on the patient portal, it wasn’t and still isn’t. I called and asked for it to be mailed to me, I never received it. I went by the office and was given my old rx. I called today and asked for it to be mailed and again and asked for them to make sure it’s the rx from my visit on 01.02.2023 and the receptionist got a tone with me. Cynthia at the front desk is rude and not very professional. During both of my visits she was rude and condescending to the other receptionist. When I went by the office to get my new rx she told me the rx wasn’t in my chart and said I love doing other people’s job. I think that’s where the error happened with my rx and me getting the old one. I seriously doubt my eyes haven’t changed in three years. After this experience I will being going elsewhere for eye care. Again it’s not Dr. Hulme it’s the reception staff.

Quality care, updated equipment and accepts state insurance. Got an appointment same day of request.

Went into to see Dr. Hulme for a painful eye condition I had been experiencing. Was told I could pick up a prescription to help that day. Went to the pharmacy twice that day and had no prescription ordered. Called the office twice with no answer or call back from my messages. Called twice the next day with no returned calls. So I went in in person to see about my prescription and was told they would get it ordered soon. Visited the pharmacy twice that afternoon and still nothing ordered. Called the office again and nothing. I will be visiting another optometrist to get my eye problem handled. This is poorest care I have ever experienced from any Dr. I will never use this office again or recommend it to anyone.

Professional and personal! Excellent patient education and explanation of my exam results and the plan moving forward! Highly recommend!!

Just like all the other reviews say, Dr.hulme and his entire staff are wonderful they are really out to help you with your eye care and they have all the newest high tech machines to test your eyes with, especially if you have dry eye symptoms. Dr.hulmes even found some other problems with my left eye after a car accident with his high tech gadgets and was able to send to me to a specialist that does eye surgery too. Will be going back since my dry eye symptoms are really annoying and is hard to find a Eye Doctor thats knows his stuff all well as Dr hulme. Doc is always straight forward and wants nothing but the best for every person that comes through the door. The staff always go the full distance to help me out and to make sure I walk out with exactly the glasses I want. Best optometrist I’ve ever been to.

The Staff was very professional. The physician really took his time updating my script, explaining his findings, and seemed genuinely interested in my care. Follow up for my new glasses was quick and easy. Great selection of frames. I can't say enough about what a great experience I had at their office.

I love this office! I take all of my children here, and have recently switched eye doctors so that I can see (pun definitely intended, hahaha) Dr. Hulme. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Dr.Hulme is down to earth and straight forward his staff are professional and friendly. It was a pleasent experience.

Dr.Hulme is a great eye doctor always very pleasant and explains things and didn’t try to force me into a costly procedure as another place in Loveland had done and didn’t even offer me other options as Dr. Hulme did. Liz is fabulous has gone above and beyond to make sure I had proper eye drops and working with my insurance and myself to make sure I was doing alright. Just moved here a few months ago. Had several recommendations to go here. I was very happy with my appointment. Dr. Hulme is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I've been going to Dr. Hulme for 10 or so years. Always friendly, great eye care, and eye glasses. I've recommended friends, my spouse, and coworkers to him. Never heard of any issues.

It's been a massive struggle to get a new contact lens prescription and get my new contacts in hand. I went in for a new patient eye exam in March 2020, knowing my current prescription would expire in June. I didn't get my correct lenses until October 2020. I had a handful of brands my insurance would cover, and the first set of trials that were ordered were for a different brand, even after discussing this in depth with the doctor. Once we finally landed on a brand that fit and was covered (only partially, thanks for working with me), it still took months for the right order to arrive for me to pick up. They repeatedly ordered the wrong prescription, the wrong brand, or both. I ended up having to buy lenses in the meantime out of pocket from 1800 Contacts. Last month it was time to order a refill on my lenses (I decided to just go with 1800 Contacts again since it was such a struggle working with the office), but it took 2 weeks to get a copy of my prescription from them (lots of back and forth texts and calls, including their saying they'd have to check with the doctor to see if they could give it to me--um, what?). When they did finally release it to me, they put a two-week expiration date on the prescription to try to force me back in the office for another exam fee later, even though it had been less than 9 months since they'd finally given me my lenses last time around, and general health guidelines say that a contact lens prescription should be good for two years at least. I was also disappointed in the eye exam itself last March. There's an out-of-pocket charge (which is fine) to get your eyes dilated for a more thorough exam. I always get this when I go to an eye doctor because I have poor eyesight at a young age. But he didn't apply enough drops for it to actually be effective and for him to be able to do a better exam. He let me know this as he was walking me out the door after the exam was over ("It's OK, we'll take a better look next time"), and they still charged me for the dilation. Dr Hulme has helped me with my dry eyes. he is the only Doc in the area that helped me with my problem. He has a great team and a fabulous selection of eyewear.

Doctor saw me in an emergency situation as something had been in my right eye ???? for 24 hours causing extreme pain with every blink. Tried all the tricks, pull top lid over bottom, blink-blink-blink, eye drops, eye flush, nothing I did worked. Ultimately he found a foreign object, q-tipped it off my inverted eye lid. These guys were awesome. I was recommended to them saying they were the best and they didn’t disappoint. Very thorough and informative. I couldn’t be happier

Visiting from Santa Fe, NM and my daughter forgot her contacts. They were super helpful and very kind. I walked away with a box of the right prescription with no charge!!

I used to go to Dr. Hulme 5 years ago and the staff was wonderful. I moved away, and of course wanted to come back but has shocked to see how rude the front desk lady was. I wasn't understanding what she was asking and she had a MAJOR attitude. Super unprofessional and I'll definitely be looking elsewhere.

I'm so glad I switched eye doctors. The assistant also guessed the right contact brand I wear with intake form(that she filled out for me on her computer!!) and my lack of info with me just knowing the color of the box, when I got home they were the exact same but new script!! We just started going here, and with one visit we are converted. Best eye doctor we've ever had! Our insurance is great with this office, both of my kids are completely at ease with the doctor, and the staff is so helpful. Fantastic experience! Also, great eyeglasses selection.

Wow! This office is great! Best eye doc I’ve seen before. Everyone was so friendly and amazing. They have awesome new technology to do your exam. I’ve never left a review on anyone before, but I was so impressed I sat in my car and typed this in. It’s rare and hard to do find such good service. The front desk was so friendly and patient with me (even though I forgot to bring my new patient paperwork and showed up 5 minutes late). The assistant was very thoughtful after my exam and brought me some water because I mentioned that I was probably a bit dehydrated because I’d been so busy all I’d had was my morning coffee. The Doctor took the time to show me the image of my eye and talk to me about what health indicators he can identify such as high blood pressure just by the size of the veins and arteries. Then the cost was very reasonable and fair. I will definitely be back and refer my friends and family. Now that I have a family of my own, we all see Dr. Hulme and crew and have never had anything but a fantastic visit and great follow up. They were so informative and helpful, explaining every test, why it was needed, and what the results were. My first appointment with Dr. Hulme was a very good experience. The receptionist was friendly and efficient. The testing was top quality and does with precision. The consultation with Dr. Hulme was very professional and the steps going forward were well explained. I would recommend him to anyone looking for good eye care.

Not good!

I went to Dr. Hulme because of a neighbors' recomendation. The first pair was not right, did a second exam and second set of lenses, and STILL NOT RIGHT. That was in March and I have had to wear my old glasses since then. My insurance will not pay for another set of lenses this new year, so I am out the extra money I had to pay. WILL NOT GO BACK TO THIS MAN.

A great eye doctor. They fit me in when I was having a problem with my eye and have always taken care of me and my daughter.

Had my first eye exam here, and it was a great experience. I am relatively new to the Loveland area, so as always I was a bit worried about finding an new optometrist. So far so good!

Dr. Hulme always explains everything thoroughly. He & his staff are always very pleasant & helpful! My husband & I are 5 yr clients!
