I've been seeing Dr. Hiser for a little over a year now, my parents have been seeing him for a while. Dr. Hiser is a doctor that actually went into medicine to have love and care for his patients. I struggle with a lot of mental trauma which effects my physical health and I've struggled with my stomach issues for a while. A lot of doctors just write off as IBS (to which I know I have) and then give me a prescription and keep it moving. Hiser actually cares, he will sit there and talk and do his best to ensure I can be taken care of or if I can't see him I'm able to see his nurse. I can go to him and his nurse about anything and not have the uncomfortableness especially with the male doctors I've dealt with in the past. I recommend this doctor to anyone, I'm a 21 year old female and I again really don't choose to go to male doctors due to past experience but he's helped me with my physical and mental health.

Very caring. Explains your issue completely. Patiently takes and answers questions. If needed, makes referrals immediately. So many Doctors rush in and rush out, but if you need him, he is there for you.

Dr Hiser is always very nice and listens to me patiently. He always tries his best to address all of your problems. I don't think I could trust any other Doctor the way I do him.

Visit was outstanding as always. The staff is excellent and Diana and Tracy do a great job! Dr. Hiser is always very thorough and is a very good diagnostician. I am very pleased with the practice and would not consider going anywhere else.

Dr Hiser is wonderful. He truly cares for his patients and takes time with them. He will certainly refer you to a specialist if you need one. He stays on top of bloodwork and the needs of his patients. He has treated my family for decades. He has a calming, encouraging manner and will guide you through the most difficult situations. His diagnosis is always spot on. His staff, especially Diana and Traci are exceptional as well.

I was extremely pleased with my visit to Dr. Hiser's office. His staff is professional and helpful. Dr. Hiser went over my medical history and answered my many questions concerning specific health concerns. His manner is caring and concerned about the individual. I was not just a number, but a person. I highly recommend Dr. Hiser. His office staff followed up with a telephone call to discuss my results from lab tests and discussed my options. Why not recommend Dr. Hiser. When you have the best, you want that for your family and friends. Not only is he a caring doctor, he is great at diagnosing a problem then recommending treatment. His nurses, Tracy and Deanna, are wonderful to work with. They make each patient feel special and are willing to listen to your concerns. I have been a patient of Dr. Hiser for 15+ years and have always left his office feeling that my issues had been resolved.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hiser for several years. Even though I have moved and it now takes me over an hour to get to his office, I continue to see Dr. Hiser for my routine health visits. He has always been a very caring and thorough doctor. He takes the time necessary to explain things so that I understand why he orders certain tests. Dr. Roger Hiser has been my physician ever since his practice opened in Cartersville. He took on the responsibility of replacing a physician who was beloved by everyone, which is a daunting task for a doctor. From the first time I met Dr. Hiser, I knew he was someone special, and he's been my doctor from that day on. Compassion is lacking in some areas of medicine, but if I had one word to describe Dr. Hiser, it is, indeed compassion. He makes me smile. He listens attentively. We always have a laugh or two or three about life and what's going on. My life is in his hands, and for that I am grateful. He has seen me at my best and my worst, and he's guided and cared for me each and every time. By the grace of God, my visits most of the time are 'well visits', but when I'm sick, he's there for me. The staff are wonderful. My 3 sisters(who I recommended him to) and I call Dr. Hiser our "Team Doctor" . . .and he delights in the fact that we call him that. A good man, indeed.

Last week, I was in an emergency situation at my primary care doctor’s office and I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Dr. Roger Hiser and his staff at Cartersville Medical Group for their kindness and concern for me. Their actions went far above & beyond the call of duty; with a waiting room full of patients, Dr. Hiser decided to roll me personally to the hospital in a wheelchair from his office to the ER, which was a few blocks away after realizing an ambulance would take too long. After taking me in through the ER back door, Dr. Hiser waited until I was situated as nurses readied a room for me. I feel this mention is truly not adequate enough to express my gratitude and appreciation for everything Dr. Hiser and his staff did for me that day, I feel, as a patient getting this kind of personal attention from their doctor is pretty rare these days. I thank them from the bottom of my heart.

Dr. Hiser is extremely professional, approachable, knowledgeable, and empathetic. I feel he truly has my best interests at heart and he is working to help me improve my health.

Good doctor but chronically over an hour late for appointments. I understand it on occasion, but he is late EVERY single time. My time is valuable too!!!!!

His colleague had an emergency on the day I had an appointment and left me in his care- or lack thereof. This 'doctor' has refused to treat me despite a week of contacting his office. Dereliction of duty seems to be this guys M.O.

I've been using Dr. Hiser for over 10 years and have always found he and his staff, Diana and Tracy, to give professional service. Many times going above and beyond the call of duty.

So Blessed to have Dr. Hiser see me (see us,since wife of 43 plus years desired to attend). Dr. Hiser is a true, caring, knowledgeable professional (the epitome of the Cartersville Medical Center entire staff).

Dr. Hiser is one of the kindest doctors I have ever had the privilege of being a patient. He really listens and he takes things very wisely, at a pace that each patient may need. So many doctors do not do that now. They refer you on to a specialist. Dr. Hiser WORKS with you!

Dr. Hiser is a doctor that genuinely cares about his patients. He is a doctor that gets to the bottom of your problem. He doesn’t mask your problems with a bunch of pills he will run tests to find out what the problem is and then if you need medication he will then prescribe the medication needed. He is the type doctor that will sit and listen to what you have to say and not interrupt you and then tell you what he thinks the problem is. He is the best doctor that I have been able to find in town

After relocating from Maryland, and having to decide on a new Doctor, I ran into Dr. Hiser as he was tending to my Grandfather and when I saw the attention to detail, making him(my grandfather) feel like a person I knew my search was over. Dr. Hiser has been an extension of my family/life and you can't ask for much more than that from a Doctor. Great staff, front office and his other clients in the lobby!

I have been going to Dr. Hiser for a good many years. He has exceptional skills - both as a Physician and as a caregiver regarding excellent customer service. He is very patient and takes his time explaining things. Would highly recommend him. As one who is from a medical family and having been around Physicians and other medical professionals my entire life - Roger HIser exemplifies what is best in the profession and is a shining star in the world of medicine. .

Have been with Dr. Hiser about 14 years. He always takes time to talk with me and see how I am. I do not feel like I am being rushed at all, as with some doctors. He listens. He is very caring, concerned, and keeps working until he finds the answer. Wouldn’t want to go to anyone else!

My wife and I highly recommend Dr. Roger Hiser. He has been our primary care physician for more than 15 years. While there are many reasons for this recommendation, above all else is the level of care he provides in monitoring and managing our health...anticipating and heading off health issues.
