Dr. Roger M Epstein

Referred to him by another patient who praised his expertise. Agree: very competent. Bedside manner a bit sarcastic but I'd heard that was usual for him. I didn't seek him out for charm; wanted a seasoned, accomplished professional which he is. Recommend him yes. Procedure done at York Hospital York Maine whose staff was kind, competent and absolutely lovely.

Seemly gruff at the outset as he’s direst and to the point. He is compassionate though and very thorough in advising you on your physical issues. He has a great smile, if you can get him to smile. This guy is one of the best in his field in my opinion

Had to go to Boston after talking to him and his Pa said there was nothind they could do.Suffered and sometimes out of work for a year.MD in Boston did not know why other tests had not been done.Asked me to try a simple medicine that is $9.00 and problem was solved.He could not believe not anyone there knew about it.Offer staff is very good at collecting money.Always saying i am sorry over and over about everything.

Dr Epstein was very good at explaining the procedure and went over the results very clearly. I felt comfortable through out the procedure. The entire staff seemed to care and I received excellent attention to my concerns and questions. I felt I was in very good hands with Dr. Epstein and his staff.

This whole group is arrogant and uncaring even after they accidentally gave me a medication that I am allergic to during a procedure, they didn't seem to even care about me or what was happening to me. I will never go back to see any of these doctors and I suggest you think twice before you go to them. They didn't even return my phone calls after I had ended up in the ER twice because of their mistake. So sad doctors are supposed to care about their patients. He's an awful doctor

Had a very negative experience in the ER with this doctor. In fact this whole group. Insensitive arrogant and just plain unkind. I'm actually blown away by how unprofessional they are. I will travel an hour away to get away from this GI group. Do yourselves a favor and go to someone that actually cares about people these guys are either robots or aliens. No stars if I could.

I highly recommend Dr. Epstein. He and his staff are professional and caring.

He is very easy to talk to. Listens and is doing everything he can to get me better. I never wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment and never feel rushed.
