We saw Dr. Brouchard May of 2020. I got a pacemaker March of 2020. The first appointment went fine, he told me I would need a stress test (for the next appointment) & a couple other things. We show up for the second appointment. We are on time. After waiting a half hour a nurse comes out & says they don’t know what our appointment is for. So I tell them & tell her my cholesterol numbers (which they wanted). She hands me her card & asks me to email her the numbers, & states we have to reschedule our appointment. I have not been back.

Dr Roger Borchardt is, knowledgeable, patient. Never too busy to answer any questions we may have. Takes time to explain exactly what he feels is the best treatment for us. We highly recommend him as a cardiologist. We have been under his care since we moved to Utah 2016. An excellent physician

The ease of getting an appt was great, the wait past my appt time was long(over an hour). The doctor is very thorough, addressed my concerns and answered my questions. I would recommend him to family and friends.

Dr Borchardt is an amazing! I feel really good with whatever he tells me. I’m very comfortable with his professional knowledge and medical advise. Everyone should see him????

Dr Borchardt was very pleasant. He answered all my questions and ordered some testing to be done. I would definitely recommend him.

I only had to wait about 5 minutes to get to a exam room. Nurse was friendly and got all’y vital info up to date. The doctor was thorough and made some good observations. He reduced the dose of one med and recommended a follow up appointment to recheck some readings. I was in and out in less than an hour.

Worst Dr. Ever. I had a follow up with Borchardt after wearing a heart monitor for 2 weeks. Dr. cancelled my first appointment 1 hour before and rescheduled 2 weeks out. The next appointment I showed up for but the receptionist said he had to leave so he wasn't there. They didn't even have the courtesy to call me and tell me he would not be in the office. Dr. Borchardt was great, at first! We ran all the tests he’s asked for . And turns out all he needed to do was change my dads meds. He told us if my dads blood pressure stays high we need to call him and get it changed. Well guess what? Now his blood pressure is worse! He’s getting migraines and feeling light headed! We’ve called the Doctors office 3x and still haven’t received any help!!! If we go to the ER they say go to your heart doctor and have him change the meds! DO NOT SEE THIS MAN. Dr. Borchardt was awful! When we first met with him he seemed great, he asked lots of questions and ordered tests to help us find answers. BUT he never followed up with us. The tests were so expensive and he never called us about them or told us what they said. We are still getting bills 6 months after the appointment, I think we have gotten over 10 bills from the one appointment. I know doctors are busy, but he was just negligent. I’m just so disappointed. Fantastic doctor and staff. Very through testing and knowledgeable!

Dr Borchardt saved my life after my first heart attack.. He was ready along with his professional team 42 minutes after entering the Emergency Room. He performed a catheter procedure to unblock both of my major arteries, one that had a 99% blockage. He also implanted 2 needed stints.. He followed up during my recovery. I'm lucky because my wife convinced me to get to the E.R. (I thought it was heartburn)and Dr. Borchardt was so readily available to Rush in and perform the surgery. I was lucky because no major damage occurred...20 minutes later it would be a way worse or even a life ending event. Dr Borchardt literally saved my life when I was in an ER for severe abdominal pain due to an apparent gall bladder attack. During the course of the exam, he detected a suspicious pattern in my heartbeat and admitted me to hospital for evaluation. Turned out I needed a quadruple bypass. I had no gall bladder problem. Dr. Borchardt is the BEST Interventional cardiologist. My dad had an MI several years ago and the cardiologist that took care of him just blew him off once my dads acute issues were dealt with. Dr. Borchardt saw my dad, ran a couple of non-invasive tests and set my father straight with meds and a plan for the future. He is very nice, personable, and professional. Dr. Roger Borchardt at Wasatch Cardiovascular has been such a great help to me over the past few years. He has gone above and beyond in his care. He made my family feel secure in a scary time for us. I couldn’t ask for better

I had a great experience at Wasatch Cardiovascular Services. The staff were friendly and helpful and Dr. Borchardt was professional and thorough. I felt he listened to me and asked lots of questions. He also asked what questions i had and answered them in terms I could understand.

Dr Borchardt is patient and friendly to work with. And he is a life saver literally! I highly recommend him.

Dr Borchardt and his team are really good! Wonderful bedside manner, super knowledgeable, he answered all my questions, and gave me concrete steps to improve my health. Hopefully you don’t need a cardiologist, but if you do, 10/10 would recommend Dr. Borchardt.

At first Dr. Borchardt had me fooled that he actually cared about the cause of my high heart rates. He was very nice at my visit and came up with a plan and I praised him to my family that I finally had found a doctor who wanted to help me. He told me he was going to follow up with a few different specialists and get back to me in a few days. A week went by and I hadn’t heard anything. I called his office and they said they would talk to him and call me back. Another week went by and I called again, she said he’s very busy and there’s nothing she could do. I bugged them every few days and they actually stated not answering the phone. After about a month of not hearing back from him I gave up. Now it’s 6 months later. During this time I still suffered with my heart symptoms and I was lucky enough to find a cardiologist who actually helped me. Dr Borchardt is fabulous and saved my life. For 10 years I have suffered with health problems after having a double lobectomy. A tumor in my right lung was mis diagnosed for years ultimately costing me most of my right lung. For 10 years the Drs continued to add more and more medications and increase the doses of those meds yet my blood pressure and heart problems got worse and worse. I was diagnosed with RLS and given more meds for my leg problems. I had a tumor on my thyroid so they removed that and put me on more meds. It all culminated with a heart attack this past week as my body was being poisoned by countless pills and mis diagnosis. Dr Borchardt immediately stopped all my meds as he saw that my blood was toxic from all the meds. The RLS was being caused by water retention not nerve problems, so no more nerve blockers, I no longer need a muscle relaxer for the leg spasms either. He cut my synthroid dose down so I was no longer toxic from the high levels of synthetic hormones. After all was said and done I take 9 less pills per day, I take half the dose of blood pressure medicine I was taking before and my blood pressure is steady at 110/68 and my resting pulse is at 50. My blood pressure hasn't been below 140/80 and resting HR <80 in close to 10 years. I can breath better and no more COPD meds, move better and don't need all the anti inflammatory meds, I lost 28 lbs in water weight in just 48hrs.
