Rodger Kenneth Garrett

I was scheduled to be seen by my regular doctor, however he was out with an emergency. I had suffered a massive heart attack less than three weeks previous and have extensive damage to my heart to the point I could not be released home until I was fitted with a defibrillator vest to avoid Sudden Cardiac Death. The representative understood and said she had a different doctor who could see me more quickly and she sent a message back to Dr. Garrett to see me next. After they got me to the back I was at the point of collapse and waited over two hour for Dr. Garrett.Upon entering I pleaded with the doctor to please be quick and explained my condition; he told me in an extremely curt tone tone that "It doesn't work that way." He showed no compassion or concern for my physical well being. He refused to see me and stormed from the room. As I tried to leave I collapsed in the reception area.The actions by Dr. Garrett made me question his commitment to serving the needs of his patients.

Very nice, caring doctor. He's very concern about another's pain and suffering. He, takes the time to listen and he actually cares. And he actually is concerned about getting the right amount of medication for my pain. I feel as if i'm his patient not just a number.

This review is for the staff at the Crestview location and especially Monique. She has been wonderful caring for me from day one. She was very thorough, she made sure she allotted time to fully evaluate me and she always made me feel like my time and health was #1. I live in Fort Walton Beach and went out of my way to visit this office because I always had a wonderful experience and this is from my check in at the front counter until I left. All fantastic folks. I will really miss seeing Monique, but I know I will still receive great care!

This review is about Monique. She is/was an excellent provider for this office. Too bad she had to move out of the area. She was very compassionate and caring, truly interested in my condition. She will be missed. Dr Garrett is an awesome provider. I’m very happy with his care for me.

Kudos to Dr Garrett and staff! I have been. A patient of his for many years and can only praise him, staff and associates for the best care anyone could expect. Dr Garrett is a Veteran and as a fellow. Veteran consider him a great friend and Patriot like myself. He is always friendly, courteous, professional and always takes the time with me to thoroughly explain / discuss my concerns and discuss options / recommendations. On a rating of 1-10 I would give him a 15.

I've been a patient of Dr. Garrett for about ten years and would not go to anyone else. He is caring and compassionate takes time with the patient and LISTENS. He takes it personal if you are in pain. I trust him completely.

Everyone was attentive. Dr. Garrett was very thorough and accommodating.

I have been seeing Dr Garrett since arriving in Pensacola area in late 2005 and consider him both my friend and the best Alain Management Doctor in our area. I had a bicycle accident in Italy in Sept 2016, paralyzed in both arms initially, remained in hospitals and rehab both in Italy and Germany for 85 days. I was informed that they were unable to help any further so I returned to the US with their recommendation I contact a neurosurgeon in the area, called Dr Garrett and asked if he could possibly assist me on my return to locate and obtain a possible FAST appointment. He assisted me with a referral to the best Neurosurgeon in the area (Dr Maher with Baptist Hospital) with an appointment within 10 days of my return. He removed 7 vertebrae's and replaced them with titanium rods and now have 90 % use of my right and 60-70% use of my left arm ALL with my pain managed by Dr Garrett. He brought me from two 30mg Oxy slow release and 2 10mg during the day as a break in pain down to below 10mg. He is the most compassionate, caring doctor that I have ever been too. Dr Garrett aka Jeff Garrett has been wonderful as a pain management specialist for me. He was always willing to address my issues and took time discussing options for my treatment and was knowledgeable about my ongoing treatment. He helped me through clinical procedures and normal medication to alleviate my extreme pain. He did one procedure that left me in tears of joy I entered in pain so severe that he was hobbling into office on a cane and.left without severe pain for the first time in 10 years. It was literally magical as I never imagined I would ever feel that pain-free ever. I am an old rough guy who has endured increasing pain since 2002 in my left knee do to arthritisss and loss of cartridge in the joint. That day I stood up off the treatment table pain-free expecting to only have my pain lessened. I was blessed with no pain at all. Thanks folks at Clearway Pain Solutions and Dr. Garrett.

I saw Dr Garrett for almost 18 months and left his service because of increasing frustration over his incorrectly reviews of my records, medication and just lack of care. One of the last appointments, I said “ can I tell you what my day is like?” And his reply was “you can, but it won’t matter” his aids, with the exception of Mark, were rude and disrespectful. One guy opened the door saying “I can tell you now, I’m not increasing your meds “ I’d never met the man before much less mentioned anything about meds so I don’t know what prompted his statement. No introduction, just that. I’ve never felt so depersonalized as by this practice.

I have been a patient of Dr. Garrett for many years now. He is very knowledgeable and extremely compassionate. I have a lot of respect for him. Thank you Dr. Garrett and staff for the work that you do.

Everytime I take a patient to see Dr.Garrett we wait and wait. The wait time is horrible. The office staff is amazing but if your not going to see patients at a reasonable time not 3 hours later then the scheduled appointment time stop over booking yourself.

Dr. Garrett is very knowledgeable in back and neck problems. He will tell you that everything he knows is from being a patient himself. He hurt his neck years ago, and has gone through similar issues. Nice to talk to a doctor who can relate to you in that way. He always takes time with me to discuss different options. When I decided to have surgery, he gave me a bunch of tips, and really made me feel like I was making the right decision. Great doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Garrett for a while, yes wait times are ridiculous, especially if you are waiting for a prescription. Dr. Garrett seems to always be interested in my pain and trys to help get it corrected, however I have insurance, the staff are great to me. However, my daughter also goes to Dr Garrett shes the reason I chose to go to him. KEY WORDS: SHE DOES NOT HAVE INSURANCE. I have been with her and the staff treat her like she is beneath them, Dr. Garrett takes no time with her.

I'm in terrible pain most of the time so my primary doctor recommended Dr. Garrett. I have been seeing him for several months trying to find out my back problem. He has done two procedures that didn't work but it wasn't his fault. I am waiting to be seen by a back surgeon so until then Dr. Garrett regulates pain meds for me which is good. He is very compassionate and understanding. I also like his staff. They are upbeat and smile a lot. I have to wait a good while to be seen but he is worth it.

Dr. Garrett was a kind and respectful doctor, I had hope, then I needed a weeks worth of meds to stop the exasperating pain in the right side of my back down my leg, that is when the experience of GCPI was shown. I called the morning after I had popped my back, no return call so I called again that afternoon, no return call.
