Dr. Roderick Lance Warren

Started seeing Dr. Warren in 2013. He was a referral to go to for my 2nd opinion for a MS Diagnosis that I knew wasn't right. He did a spinal tap. And a confirmation on everything after taking shots for a year for MS. No MS!! Thank You Dr. Warren. I have Fibromyalgia and Migraines. And Migraines under control. Fibromyalgia is a daily struggle for anyone that has it. But it is 100% much better than it used to be. You want a Great Neurologist go to Dr. Warren. Best decision I made in my Life. If not for Dr. Warren I might still be giving myself shots daily for MS. Thank you giving me my life back. This should tell you how much I think about Dr. Warren I drive almost a hour to see him. I appreciate Dr Warren so much. He is paying attention to things my MD doesn’t. Seems to be interested in helping me. Just wish I could see him more often.

He is very rude he gave me a overdose when i was in high n i keep on falling in school that means i was out of school for a week

Unprofessional and gets in patients face if they ask questions for further input from other medical professionals. Verbally abusive towards patients and physically aggressive. Would not recommend.

Rough start to the appointment. Technology was not cooperating. When we were finally able to connect he was very caring and understanding.

Helped me immensely with migraines

After living and being under the care of a top MS doctor in Indianapolis, I moved to Evansville and my health team was THE major concern for me. My brother, who also has MS recommended I at least meet with Dr. Warren. That was 10 years ago, he is still my neurologist and I love him and the staff! He takes his time. I actually go in with questions and notes written down and he will go item by item and write the answers down for me. I never feel rushed or like he is tired of dealing with my questions. Also, he works with me. If he is suggesting a new medicine he tells me why and gives me information to do my own research. There has been times when he suggested I try a new therapy and after I researched it I decided not to and that has been just fine.

Visited mid 2018 for dementia-like symptoms. After having only basic cognitive & executive function tests, I was basically told that at 51 yrs old, alzheimers is rare but there is such a thing as early onset alzheimers. He said he could put me on some meds to help, but the condition will definitely worsen. End of story. Went to IU in Indy and it was determined I did NOT have alzheimers but was suffering brain seizures. Nearly 2 yrs later symptoms have decreased by 85% with help from anti-seizure drugs. I would advise NO ONE to seek help from this person concerning dementia issues.

I wanted to begin this review by stating that this review is for Dr. Warren's office as a whole. I notice that many times reviews are either 1 star, or 5 stars. People only feel the need to share their experiences in reviews if they're over the top great, or exceptionally awful. I had a pleasant experience in Dr. Warren's office overall. I did only get an appointment with Dr. Warren personally, on my first visit. I did meet him while in-patient in the hospital during a horrifying Trigeminal Neuraligia attack while 36 weeks pregnant. He was informative and in depth and I didn't feel rushed, despite him having to step out to take a personal call during his time with me (family member was on their way to the ER I believe). He let me know at my first visit in his office that if medication options are exhausted, he will most likely refer me for a major surgery involving a craniotomy. It was a few months later, I was dealing with endless TN attacks, and I knew it was time to take the next step. I didn't feel comfortable doing such a major surgery as a new mother. I let his NP know that I was ready to be referred but not to who they wanted to refer me to for what they wanted me to get done. They were completely open to this and wanted to help in anyway. I did, however, have to do basically all of the research on less invasive options myself as well as all the legwork finding a neurosurgeon within 2-3 hours that did the procedure. This leg work took a dozen calls and hours of my time but I happily got it done. I do believe that this wouldn't have really been an option for someone without experience in healthcare and their procedures. (I previously worked for specialists/surgeons) I know that I was a 'special case' because I was wanting a newer/more experimental procedure but it would have been nice if they assisted in finding someone to do what I had already done the research finding that I wanted done. All that said, they put the referral in quickly once I got a name and fax number. The neurosurgeon at UL (Dr. Haring Nauta) got me in quickly and with the help of a radiation oncologist (Dr. Shiao Woo) I had the radiation (cyber knife) done in April and have not has a single flash of pain, let alone an attack. I am so thankful for Dr. Warren's office being attentive to my questions, open to my ideas, and eager to do what they felt was necessary in helping me get better. After talking with several people with TN, I know that finding a neurologist eager to help is few and far between and many suffer for years without the option for help outside of medication. If you're having TN issues and can't find a doctor to take your pain seriously, I would consider reaching out to Dr. Warren and his staff. He is a Dr. that listens and has a wonderful bedside manner,has compassion and good personality. His staff is the same.

Dr Warren is the best! He answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. I was so worried and he made me feel right at home. I would recommend him to anyone! He’s the best!!

Good doc he took the time and listened to what I had to say he knew just what I needed. Front desk person she was very nice . I would recommend doc Roderick for all your Neurologist needs

First words out of his mouth the degrading and accusatory. He asked why he is spending 30 minutes on an appointment with me when he could see others. I had never met the man or anything. Awful and i wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

I went to see Dr. Warren and was quite confused when he decided to talk about his free time activities instead of my health concerns. He really enjoys talking and at first I felt he was just trying to build a rapport with me and my husband. Overall, I felt very uncomfortable with how he bragged about his personal life. I was obviously not interested in hearing about his new house and recent vacation and tried to redirect the conversation back to my concerns. Went to him one time and he showed me he is of very little understanding and has an approach as a quack of a Dr. at least in my case. Without going into details he lacks professionalism and had a cocky attitude. Don't waste your time with this Dr. Just excercing my first amendment right to freedom of speech without crossing the line into deformation of ones character. Fast, honest, and thorough. Extremely knowledgeable. Followed up with me after the visit

I suffer from chronic migraines. Dr. Warren is a miracle worker. He listened to my concerns and didn't try to pawn me off on the newest medications. We went over all the medications/treatments I've tried (and failed) in the past. Unfortunately, I tend to build up a tolerance to medications quickly so what might work today could stop working tomorrow. Dr. Warren was the first physician to put me on a preventive medication and my migraines are now at a much tolerable level. If at any time I feel that something isn't working, he listens and actively works to find a solution. I'm finally able to enjoy activities that I had to avoid in the past. I highly recommend him!!! I have been going to Dr. Warren for 10 years for the treatment of severe migraines. I have also referred several patients to him! He’s had nothing but my best interest at heart considering I’ve suffered from migraines for 31 years. He’s the only doctor that has taken the TIME to find the ROOT of the disease, and trust me there’s been over a handful of doctors that have done NOTHING! He has literally changed my life. I suffer from severe chronic migraines among other things and he has been the only one who has been able to get my pain under control. He listens and understands the depression side this brings on too. He and his staff are always great.

I just saw Dr. Warren for the first time today and I absolutely know this Doctor is going to be able to help me control my seizures. He explained everything so thoroughly. I have been seeking medical treatment and consultation from Dr. Warren for 10+ years for migraines, sciatica and a sleep disorder. Although we have had to try different medications and treatments, Dr. Warren has worked diligently and has done much research to ensure proper and adequate treatment for my medical needs. He is always attentive to my questions and concerns during my appointments and makes sure he allows adequate time for discussion. His staff has always been polite and respectful and are accommodating to my hectic schedule when scheduling my appointments. They are timely and efficient when it comes to refill requests and questions I might have. I have referred many friends and family to Dr. Warren and will continue to do so. I was Referred to started seeing Dr. Rodrick Warren after retiring from USN in 1998. He is Will treat your disease Aggressively as needed, how ever it Will Help You, The Patient, Explains things to you on any level as needed. I HAVE THE UP MOST RESPECT, FOR DR. WARREN. He has TREATED ME EXCEPTIONALLY WELL OVER THE LAST 19 years!!

Dr. Warren is the worst neurologist I have seen. It always feels as though he is rushing appointments, and it takes days for him to return calls. The office phone is busy 75% of the time that I call, and if I do actually get through, the staff are typically quite rude. Dr. Warren is not thorough and lacks bedside manner.

Dr. Warren is the worst doctor I have ever had. He doesn't own a bedside manner. Doesn't listen to the patient, takes forever to answer messages. He was seriously displeased when I informed him that the reason I wasn't taking a Multiple Sclerosis medicine he prescribed for me was because my insurance wouldn't cover it and I certainly couldn't afford it. He basically accused me of lying. I can only conclude he gets money for it. I also heard him gossiping with his staff about another patient.

He is rude and has no idea what he is doing. After he messed up treatment I dropped him. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

Staff very rude! Dr Warren sent me for a test and then just dropped me as a patient. I was then referred to IU by my family doctor. IU diagnosed me and they are not very happy with Warren.
