I was a patient of Dr. Robin Nemery from about 2001 to 2011, ages 8 to 18. At 8 years old I was made to feel inferior for coming in with high A1Cs. It was never questioned why that was. The reality is that at 8 years old I was managing my type one diabetes completely alone. I had no adult support during this time. My mother would take me to appointments, made sure I had my insulin and other diabetes equipment, and then I was on my own. And then I came into Dr. Robin Nemery's office to be berated for hours and made to cry for being a "bad diabetic." This went on for almost a decade. As I got older and gained weight from depression and eating disorders I was fear mongered by Dr. Robin Nemery into losing weight by being told that I could get "type 1.5 diabetes." This is a made up condition where she claimed you could have type one diabetes but because I was overweight I could also need to take medication meant for Type 2 diabetics and and lose all sensitivity to insulin. This never happened by the way. I'm almost 30 years old and have never had issues with insulin sensitivity regardless of my weight. As a teenager I was told my body was decaying because of my lack of control. I was told horror stories of kids dying because they didn't manage their diabetes. I was told I would probably die in my mid twenties because of my blood sugars. This didn't happen either. Would it have been better to speak to me calmly and rationally and see what was really going on? Probably. Dr. Robin Nemery decided on a different approach. I have a great A1C now and am taking proper care of myself because I'm a grown adult with the support system of my choosing. I will probably be in therapy for the rest of my life for the trauma that occurred during my adolescence. Mostly I blame my parents but Dr. Robin Nemery did not help matters. 0/5 I do not recommend taking your child to see this particular endocrinologist. Deplorable staff - DEPLORABLE!!!!! All have attitudes and self entitlement issues - and then talk about patients at the front desk , while everyone in the waiting room can hear!

She was my endocrinologist from 1990-1998. She’s the reason I made it to being 5’7” by getting me started on HGH treatments. She’s the absolute best and I can never thank her enough!! I still have the Orel Hershiser baseball card she gave me all those years ago because she knew he was my favorite player.

Not enough words to describe how amazing Dr Nemery is!

Dr Nemery was by far the best pediatric endocrinologist my daughter Samantha could ever have when she was first diagnosed. Our struggle since we left Florida to find someone as good, with an office staff as proficient has been rough.

Dr. Nemery is phenomenal. She takes the time to listen and evaluate the root cause and other possible underlying issues. She thoroughly explained outcomes and processes and is very personable. This was our first visit and I was impressed. My daughter loved her as well! The front desk staff was very friendly and ensured I had the follow-up appointment made and paperwork I needed.

Doctor is not excepting new patients and the front desk was absolutely rude. I couldn't even get through a 60 second conversation without getting pissed and hanging up the phone.
