A couple of years ago I had surgery on my nose by Dr. Robin Linsey. The surgery was a fraud. From the beginning, my nose was left crooked to the left side. He suggested a new surgery, which at this moment and from the beginning was the worst, my surgery was a total failure and horrible. It was something aesthetic and it was worse. I am very sad because my nose has more and more medical problems and that is why I should have surgery. It is reconstructive since she removed a lot of cartilage and the worst part was that I paid for my surgery by check and they also charged my insurance for it. And now I have to pay a surgery of $18,000 USD so that my nose remains functional and not aesthetic since it damaged my nasal walls and removed too much cartilage that could not be solved with a second surgery My name is Maria Luisa Morales

I don’t recommend DR Lindsay, I have breathing issues caused by a deviated septum. My PCD recommended Mass Eye and Ear hospital and DR lindsay was my surgeon. The receptionist praised her a lot each time I went and me having 0 experience and never made any research about her I trusted them. The surgery wasn’t a success at all! I still have my left side closed and the deviated shape of my nose is worsen. Not only I have difficulty breathing now but I have new problems my nose is making a sound while breathing(whistling) and my nose hard mucus are stacked inside weird wholes(curves) inside my nose that I didn’t have before. Right after the surgery I noticed a weird deviated nose and specially the end of my nose the surgical suture wasn’t done properly it was pulled to the right! I wasn’t satisfied at all. I addressed my concerns to her she answered right away that my septum has a memory and it went back to its original shape!(i noticed a deviation even with the bandage) and how come my septum goes back to its original shape only 7days after surgery?!(it should take years to go back to its original shape). After many concerns and complains from me she recommended rib rhinoplasty surgery. I was going to do it even I wasn’t comfortable with her.My gut was saying big No, I rescheduled my appointments many times and I just canceled everything after reading the patients reviews cause I experienced almost the same testimonies. I feel she is not honest at all and I always(each appointment) waited more than an hour and each time she’s the only one talking quickly for maximum of 10 mn. She cut me off, I felt like she doesn’t have consideration for her patient’s feelings. I will carefully look for another doctor for my second surgery. I am honest, this was my experience with Dr Lindsay. Up to you.

without sounding vain, this woman practically ruined my life. Our consultation was no longer than 15 minutes, didn’t let me get a word in and didn’t even ask me how I wanted the end result of my nose to look until day of operation. It’s totally and completely botched and leans to one side significantly and I’m pretty sure it also worsened my deviated septum. I would not trust this doctor to perform surgery on my worst enemy. She deserves to be sued, and if I could I would. This woman needs her license taken away. without sounding vain, this woman practically ruined my life. I drove around 3 hours back and forth for an appointment that could have been done over the phone. Dr. Lindsay consistently interrupted me, did not let me ask or ask if I had any questions. It was my first meeting with her for a consultation about nasal valve collapse. She then hurriedly dismissed me for having nasal valve collapse, proceeded to say I had Empty Nose Syndrome and said that the sensations I was experiencing were all psychological and that there was no physical signs of obstruction. After doing research on Empty Nose Syndrome by myself since she did not explain at all what Empty Nose Syndrome even is, besides "well if it's not anything else then you have ENS" I will be seeking medical help elsewhere. I would never recommend Dr. Lindsay to anyone, especially those who are suffering from excruciating pain because you will be told it's all in your head with no elaboration. Dr. Lindsay exceeded our expectations on the rhinoplasty my daughter had. My daughter broke her nose at a very young age and had to wait until she reached maturity to have surgery, only to have injured it within a year of the surgery requiring a redo, that is when we met Dr. Lindsey. Now, my daughters nose is perfection in how it looks and in how my daughter feels. I would recommend Dr. Lindsey to anyone seeking a rhinoplasty. We are very grateful for her skill and expertise.

Longest wait time of any doctor I have ever met. 70 minutes. Four times. Great surgeon, but her lack of 'time management, apologies for time, blaming her "patients for being late' VS her taking self responsibility. And her assistant, worst for excuses. We all wait. But 70 minutes? Really? And no apologies, because you do it all time AND get away with it, makes it okay? Wow. Such a lack of awareness blows my mind. Truly. Blames 'the patients' vs her overbooking. I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Lindsay. I was able to get an appointment with her within a couple of months of my initial request (during the pandemic, nevertheless), and was able to get surgery within 1 month of my initial consult. I had a revision rhinoplasty, both for cosmetic purposes and serious breathing issues (I basically hadn’t breathed through my nose in 5 years, since my first botched rhinoplasty, which was already very difficult, but became completely impossible to manage with the need to wear a mask). I had surgery at 7 AM on a Tuesday, and was able to get back to work (on my computer at home) once the anesthesia wore off later that day. I felt very little pain and was able to get by with Tylenol only for the next 3 days, though I was uncomfortable for a while (the was a LOT of work done to my face). Now, about 5 months post post-surgery, I AM A NEW PERSON. Breathing through my nose has improved my quality of life like I never thought it could - I am also extremely happy with the cosmetic aspect, but at this point it almost doesn’t even matter!!. I am forever grateful to Dr. Lindsay (and the entire team at MEE who assisted her) and would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Lindsay. Dr. Lindsay is an outstanding physician and surgeon. Our son Joseph had a severe nose break when he was 3 years old. Needless to say, his nose needed to be corrected to restore functionality, as well as for aesthetic appeal. His breathing was seriously obstructed and the common cold was, well, a bit of a nightmare! We researched extensively knowing that we needed a very skilled surgeon. We scheduled an appointment with Dr. Lindsay when Joseph was 16 years old; her confidence in her ability to restore Joseph's nose to its "native" state, as well as her candidness regarding the outcome, was comforting. She instructed Joseph to wait until he was 18 years old, which he did. At that appointment, Dr. Lindsay informed Joseph that he would need a cartilage graft to support his septum; he chose autologous donation from his own rib. She had hoped that a single osteotomy would suffice to straighten the bridge, but during surgery decided a double was necessary to achieve the objective. Within 2 weeks of the surgery we could begin to see the shape of Joseph's nose as it was "meant to be." Joseph checked in with Dr. Lindsay several times over the year where she performed injections to help reduce the swelling; she was conservative in that approach and assured us that time was necessary to reduce swelling and for full healing to occur; only then would we realize the final result. We are 1.5 years out and Joseph's nose is straight, symmetrical, and looks perfectly suited to his face. Last but not least, his nose functions well and his breathing is no longer obstructed -colds are a breeze and oh yes, he looks very handsome! Dr. Lindsay is remarkable and we highly recommend her! From my first visit, I knew Dr Lindsay was the surgeon for me because we were on exactly the same page. She assessed my breathing and knew exactly what I wanted to change cosmetically. At my next appointment, we looked at my before photos and reviewed my goals for the surgery. Right before surgery, Dr Lindsay came in to talk about the surgery again and review what we were going to do. I am so glad I trusted doctor Lindsay with my nose because honestly it has exceeded my expectations. She does many cosmetic and functional septorhinoplasty procedures EACH WEEK and now I know why she is the best facial surgeon in Boston. It has been a week since my surgery now and I can already tell my results are going to be so good in a few weeks. Dr Lindsay removed the bump in my nose, raised the tip up, and just made it look a LOT smaller which is all exactly what she said she could do for me! My experience has proven to me that she is the BEST and most qualified for the job despite some bad reviews.

Never in my life would I believe any doctor would deceive a patient and be so incompetent. From the start of my first consult and every visit post op she was never honest or direct. Dr. Lindsay stated that my septum was a complete reconstruction that she would remove and reuse my septal cartilage and lay back down straight so my septum would be functional. She also stated that the removal of my dorsal hump and bony irregularity would require a "simple rasping" and would not require my nose to be broken. When the informed consent was presented in the exam room I told her I was having a hard time singing, because the things on there were pretty serious. Dr. Lindsay stated those occur in about 2-3% of all procedures and that NONE of her patients ever experienced them. Not only was his not true, but the consent itself didn't list some very serious complications. During the consent process I also signed a form allowing her to Harvest rib cartilage from my own body if needed during the procedure. Fast forward to post operatively with my cast on and I can see the cast is crooked and one of my nostrils is in a different location and a completely different shape. Dr. Lindsay attributed my concerns to uneven swelling. Things get worse from here. Dr. Lindsay's P.A. left stitches inside my nose that were supposed to be removed. Luckily, I noticed them and called in p, because this wasn't my first surgery ever and I knew leaving them in could create serious issues. Dr. Lindsay removed them a few days later. Unfortunately, I began to have debilitating headaches and lose breathing function as the weeks progressed. In addition my nasal appearance was becoming uglier and uglier as swelling was decreasing. I also had nasal pain above my right nostril and in the midline as well as in the nasal spine that was chronic. Every time I brought up my concerns Dr. Lindsay attributed is to swelling and assured me it would disappear. After many months of this she told me to tug on my nose! Like a fool I did this as she instructed for months! My issues began to compound into chronic pain, loss of sleep, loss of function and a pretty unattractive appearance. It became clear Dr.Lindsay was no telling the truth and I began to consult with many experts in the field. Low and behold, all the symptoms I was experiencing were conclusively stated as coming from a septal perforation in the midline, saddle nose deformity, the use of PDF plates, right side valve and vault collapse, agraft that shifted and warped due to poor technique and execution, inefficient rasping of the dorsal hump, septal deviation and a leaning tip. The list actually is longer, but these are the most critical. Ultimately, Dr. Lindsay over amputated and respected Willy Nilly and didn't provide any support before sewing me up. Several surgeons who are the countries experts believe my nose collapsed in the O.R., but who knows andnits not like Dr. Lindsay would be honest. As a matter fact after she found out I began consulting with other doctors she stopped blaming my issues on swelling and began a new dishonest tactic. She tried blaming my issues on allergies, which I do not have. Once she was shot down there then she stated I have thin skin. Of course, thin skin doesn't create these problems. Her next tactic was to label one of my medical issues which is the saddle nose deformity and then blame it on my septal cartilage stating it was no good and then furthering the lie by saying she never uses rib cartilage on the first go round. Really? Why did you have me sign a consent allowing you to harvest rib prior to the surgery? My favorite was where she told me my amputated dorsal hump spontaneously regrew! Of course his is humanly impossible and has made other surgeons laugh! Personally, I believe Dr. Lindsay is lacking in ethics and has poor surgical skill. Either way my advice is to run away fast! Never in my life would I believe any doctor would deceive a patient and be so incompetent. From the start of my first consult and every visit post op she was never honest or direct. Awesome bedside manner, excellent staff. I went to two other reconstructive surgeons who both made my face WORSE before seeing Dr. Lindsay. Dr. Lindsay suddenly has a ton of reviews that are positive, which was not the case 9 months ago. I find that peculiar. At any rate it has urged me to leave a review for septorhinoplasty. Essentially, she bombed on every part of the procedure and I am forced to have another septorhinoplasty on what was originally supposed to be corrected as well as various new issues the doctor created. My honest advice is to choose another surgeon.

At my preoperative appointment, Dr. Lindsay thoroughly and patiently explained the surgical procedures, possible side effects and what to expect during recovery. Her skillful surgery has greatly enhanced my life: I can breathe so much better and my sleeping has improved. Plus my nose looks great. The friendly office staff, nurse anesthetist, and recovery room nurses made my surgical experience a comfort.

Kind, highly-skilled, attentive. My experiences with Dr. Lindsay and the staff in the MGH office were easily the best experiences I've ever had with a doctor/hospital/etc.

Dr. Lindsay has been helpful, kind, and wonderfully supportive throughout my whole operative process. All the staff are unbelievably warm, and I always felt comfortable calling with questions after my surgery. I had a two-part surgery, and after Dr. Lindsay completed her portion, she came out to the waiting room to reassure my parents that everything had gone well! Post-ops were quick and efficient, but if I had a question or concern, Dr. Lindsay would take the time to discuss it with me.

Dr. Lindsay performed surgery on my nose and I couldn't be happier with the results. Prior to the procedure, I was unable to breathe through my nose and Dr Lindsay completely fixed the issue. Not only am I happy with the functional result but she managed to improve the look of my nose as well. She and her team are great; always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

After I had surgery on my nose to remove a malignant melanoma, my surgeon recommended Dr. Lindsay to perform a skin graft. She explained my options and helped me decide. The surgery resulted in completely restoring my nose! I am extraordinarily please with the outcome as you cannot tell that I've had plastic surgery. Dr. Lindsay is well trained, kind, caring. Her support staff helps guide patients through a difficult process. I recommend Dr. Lindsay without reservation.

Dr. Lindsay is a highly skilled surgeon who takes the time to understand your needs and expectations. And she is very honest about potential results. She is friendly, never acts hurried or impatient, and makes you feel like your situation is important. She cares. If you choose, like I did, to have the procedure without general anesthesia, it sure helps to have someone pleasant to talk to! And I was thrilled with my results! I have and will continue to recommend her to family and friends.

Dr. Lindsay is one of the kindest, smartest, and most trustworthy doctors I have ever worked with. She and her support staff are attentive and responsive, always answering any questions or scheduling needs I have. Prior to and after my surgery Dr. Lindsay was extremely helpful and sensitive, walking me through the procedure and recovery. Although I no longer need to see Dr. Lindsay regularly thanks to her fabulous work, I still enjoy visiting and catching up with the team whenever I can.

Please Do NOT get your nose done by "Doctor" Lindsay, I still dont understand why she is still working at meei? She left my nose looking really bad, she was supposed to fix my breathing and instead, she left me with an ugly looking nose.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. Seriously, do some research and make sure you really hate your nose, because I HAVE REGRETTED MY DECISION TO LET DR LINDSEY RUIN MY NOSE SO MANY TIMES. I NOW HAVE A WORSE NOSE THAN BEFORE THE SURGERY. It's unreal. Deviated septum correction turned my nose into a BEAK. Hope this spares someone else going through what I did.

Dr. Lindsay was very thorough in all of my procedures. Explained operation, recovery, how to care for myself at home, and answered all my questions. She did a superlative job as this was a facial surgery. I am very pleased with her and her staff, they are very prompt and caring and polite. This goes for Dr. Molly Yancovitz as well. I have gotten great, good praises from family and friends as to how good I look. They are the best! Thank you all.

Functional rhinoplasty for internal valve collapse + slightly deviated septum. Cosmetic rhinoplasty for my pronounced dorsal hump. Was extremely hesitant to get the cosmetic portion but am very glad I did. Everything looks great. Would highly recommend Dr. Lindsay as she did right by me :)
