Dr. Robin M Deutsch

Dr. Deutsch is a very helpful, smart, and empathic person and clinician. She is highly knowledgable about working with families and divorce. I highly recommend Dr. Deutsch.

All of the above ring so sadly true. She has wasted 2 years doing absolutely nothing. She supports verbal abuse and abusive behavior from a spouse, and picks a side right out of the gates. She draws uneducated, unsupported opinions, and appears to enjoy watching a good fight rather than suggest anything productive. Arrogant, rude, and bizarrely unprofessional. Such a horrible tragedy for children involved. Unclear where she gained any kind reputation or has stayed licensed or recommended by anyone. She has been nothing short of a useless waste of time, energy, and money. She has irrevocably and irresponsibly emotionally harmed a family / children with her in-action and/or albeit rare, but reckless recommendations. As all the other reviews seem to concur, she should never be recommended, trusted or used for anything professionally.

We worked with Robin for about three months. While we found her recommendations helpful she was biased in her views, namely towards the mom. She was inconsistent in her view recommendations and not honest in owning up to her own recommendations (backtracking) which revealed her bias. Be careful, I found her too opinionated for her own good. I also found her very rude and arrogant.

I agree with the other comment; rude, arrogant, condescending, judgemental, argumentative and generally unhelpful. Her demeanor is consistent with someone with her well-know reputation - who has been drinking her own Kool-Aid for way too long. Such a high opinion of herself that she demonstrated no ability to relate to anyone else. If you want to be judged and forced to justify your POV to her satisfaction, she's the one for you. Forget about being respected, or any care or concern being shown.

Personally I find this woman rude and assuming. She may know what she is doing but her methods are like nothing I have ever witnessed. The arrogance is more than I can stand for even one more session. She was rude to my children as well. Accused one of being biased in her opinions. Argued with them as well. I'm not sure I would recommend this woman. The situation would have to be extreme.
