Mrs. Roberta Gail Miller

I went to therapy with my newly adopted family. She was very kind and realistic about what I would expect.

I’m very disappointed with the outcome after many months of sessions Roberta Miller. At first, she refused to respond to me and spoke only with my ex-spouse and their attorney. When COVID hit, Roberta really struggled with navigating the technology needed for virtual sessions wick cost us valuable time week after week. During the sessions, she gave almost no feedback or guidance. She was completely dismissive of the underlying issues with my child. In the end, she made very little attempt to enact any real change or offer any guidance. I learned later that she and the ex-spouse’s attorney “work together all the time” - a conflict of interest that should have been disclosed at the start. Due to her lack of knowledge and her complete unwillingness to attempt any understanding of the bigger picture, Roberta Miller has done *far* more harm than good for my family.

With the right combination of gentleness and firmness, her understanding has led me to greater understanding of my situation and the healthy options that I have. I am lucky to have discovered this gem of a therapist!

Very knowledgable on Family Dynamics. Extremely helpful with our teen working through personal issues and school performance. Roberta was also helpful in providing us with parenting skills for "coming-of-age" guidance. She was engaged and approachable by whole family.
