Dr. Robert J. Wozniak

I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I have been trying to rectify a bill since October with no resolve. I have called over a dozen times with not one returned call. When I finally spoke with someone, they hung-up on me before the conversation was over (this was the office manager). I was charged for a visit that was canceled. They have been committing insurance fraud by billing for visits where services were never preformed. About two weeks ago Dr. Wozniak went into another patients room after I waited for 1 hour and 30 minutes before I had to leave. The nurse came out and said, "because you chose to leave the Dr. went into another room, otherwise you would've bee next". Not a single person came in to let me know they were running behind. This appointment was made made after an ER visit for a possible hear attack. I had a make-up appointment yesterday through telehealth. They called to confirm the appointment earlier in the day. Dr. Wozniak no showed after 3 hour wait.

I've been Dr Wozniak's patient for over 30 years, since my first heart attack. He is simply marvelous - caring, professional, and competent. He has been there for me through several heart attacks, 3 stents and routine maintenance over the years. His professional associates are also outstanding, but I wouldn't trade Woz for Denton Cooley, even if he were still around.

My husband has been a patient of Dr. Wozniak for a number of years. While we think he is an awesome doctor and have no complaints about him, his office staff is another story. My husband saw Dr.Wozniak on Friday, February18, 2022 for an angioplasty. If it was possible, he was going to put more stents in my husband's heart. If the damage was too great for stents, then bypass surgery would need to be done. The damage was too much for stents, so bypass surgery is warranted. Dr. Wozniak wanted to have a plan in place before we left the hospital Friday, but that did not happen because of unforseen circumstances. My husband called his office on Monday to find out when his surgery would take place. No one ever answers the phone at his location. Not ever! So he left a message. They are supposed to call you back within 24 hrs. No one has called. Here it is Wednesday and we still don't know anything. He calls again today. Again, no one answered the phones and he leaves a second message. My husband then called the office of the surgeon that is going to perform his bypass surgery only to be told they have not received the referral from Dr. Wozniak's office. This is just unacceptable. My husband needs this surgery asap and we can't count on Dr. Wozniak's staff to answer their phones nor call anyone back in a timely manner nor get referrals made in a timely manner. My husband needs his heart fixed first, before he can get back to his cancer treatments. He hasn't had any of his treatments since November. So it is getting critical. The cancer could be spreading and growing and Dr. Wozniak knows this. He made it sound like they were going do this fairly quickly. That is why he wanted to have a plan in place before we left the hospital on Friday. But we are still waiting. And waiting. And no one has called. How hard is it to get a full time person to answer your phones especially when you are a cardiologist and people's lives are at stake!!!!!????? Customer service at his office sucks. Dr. Wozniak is a professional and explain the problems and answered all the questions that I may had. I am happy that I found a excellent cardiologist, also I will like to mention his rest of the staff of Cardiovascular Specialist of Texas Round Rock they are so carrying and professional too. Keep up the good work.

every one in the office are wonderfully helpful and dr woz is kind and took the time to explain my test results and pose a plan of care. Dr grad is also every helpfull,kind and patient.

Dr. Wozniak is the best! He takes the time to go over all the important factors in your medical history and recommend the next steps in your cardiac treatment. You can tell he is truly concerned about keeping you healthy. You won't find a better doctor.

This is a cardiologist you want. This Dr. Is the best in town. He is compassionate considerate listens to his patients takes the time you would not expect a busy Dr. To take. His staff are great. Very professional. He knows his stuff. We have never waited when we have an appointment he's on time.

My visit with the doctors office was an enjoyable experience. The staff could not have been more helpful. All of my questions and/ or concerns were addressed quickly and professionally. Dr. Wozniak is just such a great doctor. I am just a routine patient but my husband has had very success heart procedures/surgeries with him. Highly recommend him for any heart concerns you might have.

Why would you waste a patient’s money? If you cannot take care of your patients then why would you dare file a claim? If you’re just gonna pass someone off to another doctor then why don’t you do it in the beginning instead of taking their money and wasting weeks and weeks and weeks of their life? Why would you let someone stay in atrial fibrillation for weeks and weeks? Really good question!! You didn’t do it before! Why did it take three weeks to get an ultrasound done? Why was my husband sent to another doctor? You didn’t even have the decency to give him a phone call & explain!! You need to retire if you’re no longer going to give the same kind of bedside manner and be the same doctor you used to be! This is not healthcare any longer it’s begging for someone to please take care of my health! It’s BEGGING for somebody to care and Listen! If this is what healthcare in America is going to turn into then you might as well just tell us all we’re going to die now! ????

My PC doctor recommended Dr. Wozniak, because I had recently fired my last cardiologist, due to his rude office staff, his “rushed” behavior and his inability to look me in the eyes while talking to me or I with him. Dr. Wozniak, and his staff were the “cream of the crop”! His front office staff, Maryann, Samantha, Linda; the M.A. Karen and Sabrina, and APRN Neva were all so very nice to me! I chose Dr. Wozniak at the recommendation of Dr. Buchbinder at San Diego Cardiovascular Associates who was referred to me by my cardiologists at Stanford University. My experience is that all of the best cardiologists in the U.S. know each other, and I've not been disappointed. He always is looking for you to improve the status of your heart health. I appreciate that he spaces your visits to see him according to how well you are following his recommendations to have a healthy heart. I know when I first met him he said, "I only want to have to do this once in your lifetime!" and that is his goal for each of his patients, I truly believe. I know several people who use him and they all feel as I do.

Two years ago, I did not die. My heart decided to have a hissy. It started with some pain in my arms around 8am. By 10, my arms were hurting terribly bad, so bad I decided to head to the hospital. I drove to St Davids in horrible pain. As I entered the ER all I could utter was "HURT" They gave me a shot and took me to the EKG room in the ER. The EKG tech was slow and deliberate. They got it done and took me right to surgery My day was not routine, but I was part of a routine day for Dr Wozniak. Two years ago, I did not die. Thank you Dr Wozniak.

Dr. Wozniak has been my cardiologist since mid-June of 2008 when he diagnosed my need for quintuple bypass surgery. He and his staff at Cardiovascular Specialists are thorough and efficient in all matters relating to maintaining excellent cardio health. He not only is a top-notch professional in his field of medicine, but he is a great communicator as well.

He became my Doctor while I was an in-patient at St. David's North and I was well pleased with his information given to me, his manner and his caring attitude!!! Look forward to having him as my permanent Cardiologist in the future!!!

Dr. Wozniak is considerate, dedicated, takes time to insure his treatment plan is understood. Two years ago I left my cardiologist of some 25 years because twice he prescribed meds that landed me in the hospital. He didn't notice that my Hemoglobin had fallen to 8.5 from 14 in 4 months, causing it to take 6 months longer before my cancer was diagnosed. After leaving him, I went thru 3 cardiologists before finding Dr. Wozniak and I really appreciate his attention and caring personality.

Dr Wazniak has been my mother's cardiologist for over 5 yrs. She is 90 yrs old with a leaky heart valve, heart failure and Afib. She has received excellent care from Dr. Wazniak's office and her medications have contributed to the maintenance of her health. I have always received a timely response when leaving messages on his nurses line and they have consistently addressed any adjustments needed to her medications and / or answered any questions I have had. Dr. Wazniak is not only an excellent cardiologist but also has a great bed side manner and I like the fact that though my mother is 90 he talks directly to her in a clear manner ensuring she understands what he is saying as her mind is still sharp but her hearing is not as good. When I had my heart attack almost 20 years ago, I was assigned to a doctor who was not "in network" so I searched for an in network doctor and found Dr. Wozniak. I was also told i could only be treated through medication by my other doctor. Dr. Wozniak reviewed my case, gained me an appointment with a cardiac surgeon and I had a triple bypass. My original cardiologist told me that given my condition, I had 2-5 years of life expectancy. Twenty years later, I'm still going strong. I find him compassionate, caring and careful. An excellent physician, who stays on top of the latest and greatest in treating his patients. I highly recommend him to anyone needing quality care. I have waited three weeks to get an appointment with Dr. Wozniak. I arranged with my son to take off work to drive me from Bastrop to north Austin. When we arrived at the appointment I was told by the receptionist that the doctor was "on call" and had an emergency, that we would have to reschedule. She said that it happens all the time, that the doctor who has appointments is also on call and away on emergencies. I find this incredibly unacceptable.
