Dr. Wertz and his team are very professional and thorough. These treatments have kept my Sciatica manageable.

Questions were answered and he listened and explained. I definitely would recommend him. His staff was also helpful.

The waiting was long but well worth it. He was not rushed and explained everything I needed to know. Showed me my MRI and went over the issues I have and explained them in a way that was easy to understand.

What an excellent experience I had with Dr. Wertz! He is patient, focused, and so knowledgeable. The procedure was painless. I’m feeling so much better. I’m grateful to be in his care.

As I wait for my 9 am appointment today w/ Dr. Wertz, a woman sitting near me is called in for her 9 am with Dr. Wertz. Why were we double-booked? My 9 am didn't happen until 10. Please respond.

Great bedside manner, and on time

Dr. Wertz answered all my questions and is very honest and sincere. Trust him fully.

Starting with Denise--a great hire. Kind , professional and respectful. The nurses at pre-op are wonderful. The nurses -for after care are equally as good. Dr. Wertz was professional, kind and handled the procedure so peaceful and professionally. On the table--He talks you thru the procedure, give you the injection and 5 minutes latter you are wheeled to aftercare by another fine nurse. His O.R, staff are also very kind and professional. The music was not the best.

Dr. Wertz performed a Rizotomy to alleviate my neck pain on 2/22/23. He took the time to put me at ease by going over each step and what exactly he was doing. It was a very seamless procedure! A very caring Doctor!!

Dr Wertz was very thorough. He explained every step of the procedure. The staff was very good as well.

I visited for a shot in my back on the right side for severe pain that radiated down the right side of my behind and leg. Dr Wertz was very caring and knowledgeable.

I went back to Dr. Wertz since he remedied my neck issues years ago. Now I had him deal with my sciatica. I am very pleased with the attention that I received today.

I waited over a month for my consultation appt. with him, and found him to be uncaring, complacent, and gave me the feeling that he really didn't hear or listen to me and I was taking up too much time. I was asking questions as he was walking out the door and down the corridor! There were other reasons why I never got treatment for pain relief but from him but space constraints do not allow me to elaborate here. All in all, I wasted a lot of time with this, so called, professional. He did NOTHING for me but delay treatment from someone who can help me and ease this pain I'm in daily. He has NO clue of what pain is and NO compassion for those who suffer with it!!

I went into the OAA Surgery center for an Epidural injection for my lower back. Dr. Wertz was very nice and explained everything. I was a little nervous about getting a shot in my spine. Dr. Wertz was chatting about baseball with me to help with my comfort level. I really appreciated that. It kept my mind off the shot. Not painful and he was done quick. Very thankful for his bedside manner. Staff was great too.

Dr Wertz is amazing. He has been keeping me out of pain for a few years now! He and his Team work extremely hard to make certain all of their patients are very well cared for!!! Dr Wertz is a warm and kind man who always does his very best!!! Thank you Everyone!

I do not think dr wertz injected the steroid shot to the location that was designated. His comments prior to the injection led me to believe he was not going to go to that spot, and my pain 5 days after is no better than it was before the injection

Wonderful and best of all my pain is gone!

My husband and I have been receiving epidurals from Dr. Wertz for a couple of years. He has given us our life back…from not being able to walk any distance to being able to garden again. His expertise in knowing exactly where to place the shots and the right medication make such a difference compared to previous doctors I have seen. Always very courteous, personable and professional as well.

Dr. Wertz and his surgical team are extremely compassionate and professional. My husband received excellent care and they made every effort to keep him comfortable during his procedure. We would highly recommend Dr.Wertz and OAA!

Dr. Wertz answered all my questions related to pain management and what could be done to control my pain. He explained what procedures would be appropriate for my condition as it stands now.

3rd time with Dr. Wertz. As with the previous two times everything was explained thoroughly and in detail. He is the consummate professional.

Dr. Wertz was easy to talk to, and was reassuring and confident in his analysis of my condition. He made me feel that my concerns can be turned around after treatment, but also made sure that I knew that there are realistic limits on what I should expect.

This is the third steroid injection in lower back due to arthritic pain. This time I am experiencing pain afterwards. The first 2 injections eliminated the pain and last 3 months. Hoping that it again removes the pain.

Had 2 previous visits with Dr Wertz. Both went well. Got a 2nd opinion from another doctor on continued pain. He was sent MRI and X rays. Dr Werts called report "goble de gook. Asked how another doctor could examine my MRI and X rays without seeing me. The 2nd opinion doctor asked me the same questions that both previous in office visits with Dr Wertz asked. Dr Wertz has never physically examined me. When I told him of continued pain symptoms ( foot numbness, and back pain that feels like there is a golf ball on my spine, ) he said, "I don't know what that means". I had even taken a marker to mark the most painfull spot on my back so he could see it. He had no interest. When he first came into the room he asked how you doing. I said "no good". and he said "What does that mean?" He was obviously not in a good mood and I expressed my frustration on only being perscribed pills in the hope that my pain would go away . He was asking me on how I would like to proceed? I replied, you are the doctor... The last time I saw him he recommended shots to relieve pain and finally agreed to do them....but not today. The 2nd opinion doctor had a much better bed side manner and was concerned for pain people are in. This appointment did not go well at all.

Dr. Wertz was very good at explaining what was wrong with me and how we could go about helping me with pain.

It is always a pleasure meting with Dr. Wertz. Efficient, friendly and caring.
