Dr. Robert James Wenzler

Worst doctor ever. He totally wrecked my feet for life. I am so bummed I didn't shop around 4 years ago. No hope for my feet. He then sent a reply to this review and said that they reviewed the records and he doesn't have any. I'm sorry, but I went to him in 2019 and had surgery in May. Both feet at the same time. Never again. I'm paying dearly for it now.

Dr Wenzler is a great doctor he treated my wounds and saved me from losing my leg. If I could rate 100 stars I would.

Dr Wenzler is the best! He has a great bed-side manner. He is easy to talk with and he listens! He will answer all your questions and address all your concerns

Don't follow up on paper work like he should made us miss disability pay don't recommend him at all

Friendly receptionist Clean office Dr. Wenzler takes time to talk with you and explain what he is doing to your feet.

Never gave up on helping me when the problems just seemed impossible! Best Dr in the midsouth for sure!

Dr. Wenzler is wonderful doctor and I would recommend him to anyone that has foot issues.

OMG! This doctor is awesome! He diagnosed me in 5 secs. I'd been in pain barely able to walk for 3 weeks due to severe heel spurs that were inflamed. He is so knowledgeable and he seems to genuinely care about you. He is definitely the go to doc for feet and ankle problems. It was my first appointment but I felt like I'd known him for years. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Wenzler and his nurse and assistant, Stephanie. I had been to three podiatrists and two urgent care centers this past year to solve a nagging and reoccurring infection in my foot that turned out to be due to a puncture injury last year. After an MRI, Dr. Wenzler did surgery and removed the foreign body that was lodged in my foot and causing the ongoing problem. He is extremely kind, has a great bedside manner, is very likable, very caring and gracious. And he is very, very good at what he does. I highly recommend him. He is a true find. I want to thank Dr Wenzler and his partner for helping my son. We were told these two doctors were the best. I want to say that they truly are the best they worked together to correct my sons foot deformity that had 3 previous surgeries that did not work! My child is now running and playing enjoying life! Dr Wenzler is amazing, he did my husband foot surgeries in spite of his neuropathy and poor circulation and had spectacular results. We have recommended several friends go see him and they were thrilled with the results. He is a superb doctor, surgeon, and friend. We highly recommend him for any foot problems you may have, you will never go to another podiatrist after you see Dr Wenzler! My brother was a patient of Dr. Wenzler and had to have a toe amputated by him. He has been having some more health problems - amputation of his left leg above the knee at the first of April. We have been requesting copies of his medical records before this incident. I have left numerous voice mails, and spoken to Sara the person in Dr Wenzler's office who handles this. She has yet to send the records. Now Social Security is saying she has not answered their request for information. Very upset!

I had a broken foot & wS seeing a big box dr for 6 mos who did NOTHING other than keep me in a boot. Someone told me about Dr Wenzler. He immediately did the necessary surgery & am on my way to full recovery. Dr Wenzler & Staff are wonderful, honest, spends time to explain. He is also a family man which says much about his character. Blessings to this capable young man.

Dr Wenzler is a great doc! The staff is great as well. I feel very comfortable when seeing Dr Wenzler and trust him totally!

Dr Wenzler and Dr Lyons are the best! These two doctors performed a repair of a failed surgery on my heel bone. I was told by several doctors that my failed surgery could not be repaired. One doctor even sold me $300 inserts that did not help! I was referred to these doctors. I was told they were the best in the mid south. I truly believe it, they solved my problem and I can now walk and run pain free. God truly blessed me by allowing me to find these doctors! Dr Wenzler and Dr Lyons are the best! We love Dr Wenzler. He has taken very good care of my husbands feet and my Mother's feet.

Dr. Wenzler has been phenomenal! He helped me through all of my options leading up to surgery, the surgery went very well and he was sure to keep check on my recovery. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of foot care.

I am one of the unlucky people who developed ingrown toe nails on every toe, both sides. I was going for pedi's every month and they were excruciatingly painful. I finally got up the courage to see a podiatrists and was seen by Dr. Wenzler. He asked what I wanted to do about it and I told him that I would prefer to be asleep and have them all taken care of at once so in Aug 2015 that is exactly what happened. It has been a year and all is well, he is wonderful! Best podiatrists around!

After going to several podiatrist and getting no relief, Dr. Rob knew exactly what to do and even went above and beyond to be sure I knew exactly what was going on and the best way to approach the treatment to get the best results. You will love his professionalism and honesty, and his great sense of humor.
