Went in for an Autism and/or ADHD diagnosis for my child. The staff was nice but later it was very very hard to get anyone on the phone and they don't return calls. Wait time was average. The facilities were clean. The doctor was polite enough but I felt the appointment was a bit rushed. He quickly explained that he thought my son had ADHD after sitting with us for 30 minutes. I felt he shouldn't have been diagnosed based on one brief visit. He seems to just be going through the motions. I provided some feedback from my child's psychologist and I don't even believe he read through it as he never changed or updated the diagnosis. I would see another neurologist but this doctor was the only one available on such short notice. Now I know why.

I think he is a great dr he explains everything to me about my granddaughter and is truly concerned. Sometimes there is a wait in the room but that’s because he’s taking the time with the previous patient which is understandable I drive from Levittown to deer park to see him GREAT DOCTOR/ANN ANGEHR/KAILA HESS

Dr. Trepel is great. He may not have the friendliest bedside mannerism but he’s attentive and I’m always in and out with my son. Staff is nice but there’s one in particular I could care a whole lot less for as she’s rude ( not sure what her title is ) but reordering meds you have to have a longwinded discussion back & forth with her overanalyzing when I’m stating that clearly my son is out of his medication and it’s been a month. It doesn’t forever. For somebody that doesn’t have to come out of pocket for it or have to deal with a special needs child she can be a real stickler. Like miss get a grip . Only reason why I felt the need to address it. She irked the heck out of me.

Worst experience with a medical professional for my child. Very stressful time to find out what was causing seizures and he was condescending and verbally awful.

Amazing doctor and person - I can't say enough positive things about our experience with him. I came in as a nervous mother with a million questions and he took his time answering my questions and putting us at ease. My daughter was especially active that day and it didn't bother him at all! He is intelligent, knowledgable, kind and caring! On top of it, his office staff is amazing!

Had an awful experience with this doctor after delivering my baby. Terrible bedside manner, did not as much as introduce himself before he started to "manhandle" our one day old baby. Proceeded to examine her for fifteen minutes without saying a word to us as we anxiously waited an explanation. Should not be working with children, or people for that matter.

Brought my son for ADHD evaluation, Dr. barely looked at or spoke to my son at all. One visit we waited more than an hour to see the Dr., a child with ADHD siting in a waiting room for an hour is torture (for the parents as well!). We were really nervous about starting our son on medication and he just did not spend any time explaining the medication.
