Was not personable. Showed up late for my consultation. Did not adequately address my concerns and I felt rush to explain. Also seemed rude to his staff.

Dr Thompson is a caring and compassionate doctor. He is conservative in his treatment. He always explains procedures. Highly recommend.
Saw me for >5 minutes, conducted a test I already had had done, looked at my paperwork from my primary physician, and charged a massive new patient fee. He immediately told me I likely had cancer and tried to schedule me for surgery within that 5 minutes of face time. I got a second opinion with a doctor who recommended a more pragmatic approach with an additional test and follow-up and everything seems fine. Would recommend you go to a different urologist. Unfortunately just another guy in medicine for the money. Maybe he cared about his job at some point, but those days are long gone. Charges your insurance $650 for a new consultation, very impatient, and shockingly outdated knowledge of prostatitis/CPPS knowledge. Dr. Thompson makes you feel very much at ease. I have had 2 procedures which were successful. Highly recommended!
