Dr Robert Taylor has been my primary care physician for many years. He's a terrific doctor, easy to talk to, caring, and an excellent diagnostician. I have recommended him to all my family and friends. Now they, too, like him and use him as their PCP.

Although the wait was almost an hour to see him, he was knowledgeable, took his time and was interested in what I had to say. I took apoint off for the long wait.

It is always good when I see Dr. Taylor he is the best, very concerned about his patients health problems.

I appreciate being able to see Dr. Taylor as my primary care physician. Dr. Taylor and his staff are very professional and make you feel that your health care is a very high priority and at the same time make you feel comfortable during your visit. Much appreciated.

My experience with Dr. Taylor was very good as always. I have been going to Dr. Taylor for 28 years.

Worst care I have ever received. Would not refill my blood pressure medication. Seemed concerned my bp was high in the clinic then would not fill it since he said it could be causing heart palpatations. So here i sit in the ER with high blood pressure and a headache. This never would have happened if he would have refilled the rx I was on from my regular PCP. This man should not be a Dr. Please dont go to him.

I had this doctor take over my care while my doctor was on vacation. He didn't refill my medication I had been taking for years because it was "unsafe." He had no consideration for the dangers to my health from discontinuing this medication without tapering it. He is a danger to patients. This action made me consider leaving my PCP in fear that he would "take over" every time she went on vacation.

I've seen Dr Taylor as my pcp for app 10 years, he's very freindly, professional, approachable. Would recommend to anyone seeking a great pcp in Slidell area.

I would not recommend Dr. Taylor. I was scheduled my first visit with him for 10:20 A.M. today. At 11:20 A.M. I was still sitting in the exam room. No one even came in to explain the delay. How can a PCP get an hour behind by 10:00 A.M.?

He doesn't rush you, listens to what you have to say, and takes your viewpoint into consideration. If you have a test of any kind, he responds on My Ochsner with the results and comments, usually the same day. Although it may take a few weeks to get an appointment, there is an option online for you to be notified if an earlier appointment becomes available, and it almost always does. His nurses Tina and Cindy are also personable and very competent.

While the Dr. himself is satisfactory and personable, his staff and wait times are borderline negligent. Good luck scheduling an appointment that isn't at least a month out. Have fun sitting in the exam room for an hour waiting on him. Enjoy the extremely rude head nurse he has. I've been with Dr. Taylor for a handful of years and am now so displeased with running the gambit of getting in to see him, that I am desperate for a change of primary care provider.
