Dr. Robert K Tatum

Not at all impressed... My wife went in for a follow up to an abnormal annual exam. When he called her to tell her she needed a follow up, he stressed that it was nothing to be concerned about. At the follow up, he once again stated he was not concerned but he wanted to recheck the original test. After about 5 minutes, it went from nothing to worry about to he wants to do two biopsies while still claiming nothing to worry about. Before leaving he shifted from nothing to worry about to, let's see what the biopsy results are. This guy sounded like he had no clue what he was talking about.. Ive had 11 surgeries and countless medical test and never once has one of those doctors started off saying they are not concerned and there is nothing to worry about only to change course in less than 15 minutes time. If you are concerned about your health, go to another doctor.

He actually cares and tries to figure out your problem. He's very funny as well.

Great Dr, I have been a pt for 35 years and he has taken great care of me thru years!

He is very informative and straight to the point. He wants to let you understand how things work and discuss your diagnosis in full. He was great.

I have saw Dr. Tatum for over 35 years from when he was with my OB-GYM Dr. John Semmer. After Dr. Semmer retired I started seeing Dr. Tatum. He has great bedside manner and is personable.

I had a wonderful experience from the time I walk in to register from the moment I left. Staff, nurses and doctors were AMAZING! Very friendly and kind. One of the nurses held my hand as I was a tad nervous and I simply can’t thank her enough. I’m so sad I don’t remember her name but I pray the Lord blesses her double!

Dr. Tatum was above my expectations. His bedside manner was phenomenal. I felt so comfortable and at ease. He personally called me with test results the day after my appointment. I am so thankful for this office and this doctor.

I felt very comfortable from start to finish. I am always a nervous wreck prior to an OBGYN appointment. From the moment I was checked in and checked out, I felt special and compassion from each staff member. Best gynocologist ever!

Dr. Tatum is the very best! He really looks at all parameters of a woman’s health and spends time with you as the patient. He is an excellent clinician and very empathetic as a doctor. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a kind, caring and proficient gynecologist.

He's the best!! If you've not got a doctor I strongly encourage you to call.

Although he was not sure what my problem is, he told me he would follow up with a vascular surgeon.

Dr. Tatum is a thorough, competent and genuinely interested in his patients.

Absolutely the best best possible nurses and doctor you could ever ask for.

Dr. Tatum was great. He really took the time to listen to my questions and concerns and helped me feel at ease.

Dr. Tatum is very charismatic and I found him to be very caring. He gave me the answer to my problem that I was looking for. I'd certainly return to him if I was in need.

Very little wait time! All my questions were answered with satisfaction.

Dr.Tatum has so much experience as an OB/GYN doctor that I trust him. He listens to your concerns and addresses them with several options for you to choose. If he thinks additional tests should be conducted, he does not hesitate to order them for the well-being of your health.

Dr. Tatum is hands down my favorite OBGYN. He is very understanding and very helpful. He has always made me feel welcomed. I have received nothing but the best care from him. He helped me start out my pregnancy journey and I can’t thank him enough. In April my baby boy will be here!! I was so sad when I moved to Chattanooga and had to switch doctors due to my pregnancy because the drive would be too much at a certain point. Hopefully after I give birth and everything I can start going back to him. He is absolutely amazing. Ms. Sandy is also an amazing person on his team. I have been a patient of Dr Tatum for 30 years and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my gynecological or obstetrical needs. He has always had the best “bed side manner” and has always taken time to just listen when I’ve ever had any medical issues. I’ve even recommended my own daughter to start seeing him. Highly recommend. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Dr. Tatum took the time to listen and talk to me as long as I needed.
