Dr. Robert Tassan

I have been going to Doctor Robert Tassan for several years for low b12 and iron deficiency, and he has been amazing. The staff there could not be more kind and respectful, not to mention the Chemo staff there, but most important of all is what he has done for my gentleman friend who has CLL cancer. Everyone gave him no more than 5 years to live , and that was back in April of 2011. Well Dr Robert Tassan has been his Dr since after that and since 2011 and now 9 years later, my Robert is doing well and feeling healthy, at first it was Chemo’s., past 3 years on Imbruvica pills , no Chemo’s. Dr Robert Tassan has been a God sent to him. Robert is now 73 and going strong., if not for Dr Robert Tassan he would not be alive and well and able to function. The Chemo staff is fantastic , now my Robert is there for igg infusions for immunity, and the whole office is clean and the Chemo igg iron infusion room clean and comfy and kind so lucky to have him Sincerly Linda Adamca

Dr. Tassan does not disclose Pet Scan results, you must create a My Chart to read report and ask questions. A colonoscopy was recommended on a Jan., June, and Oct. 2019 pet scan, he failed to mention thus causing major health concerns. His treatment plan was chemo (revlimid) causing a downward spiral. Went for a 2nd opinion, doctor insisted on colonoscopy which determined a virus and immediately stopped chemo. Dr. Tassan mocks the elderly stating he wishes he had a time machine to make them younger/healthier! Wait times are never a problem because there are no patients waiting for this doctor. Stay away, he doesn’t deserve 1 star but system needs a selection to satisfy survey. 0 rating on this one!

Dr. Tassan treated my iron and B12 deficiencies after my primary care doctor dismissed me. He listened to my concerns and paid attention to my symptoms. Thank you Dr. Tassan for giving me a quality of life back. His staff is wonderful, especially the infusion nurse!

I should have run the other way when Dr. Tassan first came to see me at HUMC. He walked into my room, asked for the wrong patient, and left. Dr. Tassan returned 6 hrs. later and initially denied that he had been to my room earlier that day. Desperate for an oncologist who I could understand, I asked him to be my doctor. After that encounter, I was NEVER able to reach him - he did not return calls nor did his staff.

This is your typical number equal pay doc. Dismissive in listening to issues because he’s just trying to push one product. Don’t even think for a minute you’ll get a return call because we tried for three weeks and either he doesn’t do phones cause he can’t bill the insurance or his staff doesn’t give messages. Either way my family will not put our lives in his hands and I would suggest you don’t either.

Dr. Tassan is a wonderful physician. He is friendly, but is very straight to the point. He is very focused on your health and skips the small talk. He doesn't sugar coat anything and is very honest and compassionate. Plus, I never wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room.

Dr. Tassan is amazingly compassionate and optimistic. He has always gone out of his way to explain things and put me at ease. I would highly recommend him.

I had a HORRIBLE experience with Dr. Tassan. Although he may have been knowledgeable about my condition, he completely lacked any compassion or empathy as I tried to explain to him my situation and the pain I was in. When I asked him questions pertaining to my clot and treatment, his responses were all terse --- to the point of condescending. He really needs a lesson in good bedside manner.

Dr. Tassan is awesome. My husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor 7 years ago. Dr. Tassan gave him great care. He always answered all of our questions and concerns. He has great bedside manner and treats serious conditions with optimism and positivity. Will miss seeing him but my husband is 7 years in remission and no longer needs follow ups. I would highly recommend!
