Dr. Robert Edward Stover

Office staff, dental techs, and especially Dr. Stover are all great. So friendly, fees are discussed, and I’m always comfortable. So happy with everything.

Dr. Stover and his staff are some of the most friendly people I have met in Washington. When first going there they made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Their office offers a relaxed and calming atmosphere.

Angela my dental hygienist was very thorough in cleaning my teeth and took special care In reducing pain and irritation during the procedure. Heather and the office staff were very supportive and issued a warm welcome to me. Overall an excellent visit on Tuesday March 28th!!!!

Always great service and the entire place is absolutely spotless. I have had 4 dentists throughout my life and all of them have retired. I wish them all well in retirement but I just want to say that I think Dr. Stover is the best of the bunch.

Always anxious going to the dentist but Dr. Stover and staff always make me feel comfortable do matter what the procedure is. Love how the staff all work together and help each other out, it's a real team atmosphere. No longer hate to see the dentist!

I had some slight pain in one of my lower teeth and knew that I should see the dentist. However, since it had been some years since my last visit but, after some frantic searching, I found a record of my previous visit with Dr. Stover. How pleased I am that I am again being treated by Dr. Stover and am looking forward to some modifications in my lower partial that will again provide me with many more years of satisfaction. Thank you Dr. Stover and your professional staff.

Dr. Stover was funny, engaging and informative. He took the time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions concisely. I left the office feeling so much relief that my needs had been addressed. I am "pleased as punch" with the service I was given. His staff was kind while being professional as well as personable. I am very grateful that Dr. Coppin recommended I see Dr. Stover.

I have high anxiety and always a strong fear of going to the dentist as I have had my fair share of rough experiences in the past. Today, Angela and Dr. Stover truly made me feel right at home during my first examination, and walked me through every step of my care plan (which was really nice to feel so involved in my own care). I really am incredibly grateful for finding this office!

I went to this dentist for many years without any issues. Stover used to always be really gentle and understanding. Somewhere along the lines things changed. I really couldn’t justify the price of this place for the quality of service I was starting to experience. Around the beginning of covid, I had a root canal done. While at work my temp crown broke off and when I called the emergency line to get in (because they were on a vacation and the office was closed) Stover said he didn’t feel it was urgent enough to call his staff in 2 days before Christmas. I believe he said he didn’t want to “inconvenience” them. Meanwhile, I had to sit through Christmas dinner with a sensitive numb of a tooth, thanks? Then the office closed for 2 months and during that time I picked up a new job and wasn’t able to take time off for a new crown. As soon as I was able to (maybe a month later) I came in for my appointment for the crown. I got talked down to for letting it go so long and how it’s my fault that the tooth had moved around and the previous crown mold didn’t fit. I paid $1500 for the initial crown and then they charged me an additional $350 for the secondary. This business is FREQUENTLY taking off for multi-week vacations and closing the office, good for them but bad for client availability purposes. I now go to a less fancy dentist, Bright Now of all places. During my initial visit with them, it was discovered that some of my crowns that Stover’s office had placed had gaps between the crown and my tooth and needed to be repaired. Go figure, $1500-$1800 for a crown that a lower end dentist office can identify a problem with but this office can’t? Not to mention, I have to pay more money out of pocket to fix!? Overall, there are much better options out there now that weren’t around when I started going to Stover’s years ago. He’s not as kind and gentle anymore, more so condescending and annoyed when you mention pain while getting work done (large annoyed sighs and a rushed approach). What an AMAZING group of people! They all are so kind, caring and knowledgeable! Dr. Stover is the very best and I would absolutely recommend him to everyone!

Dr Stover and staff are kind and gentle. I have terrible dental anxiety but feel comfortable and safe in their care. Every step is explained before and during each procedure. I'm i sure if I screamed,"stop", they would. I have much work to be done, and fight my fear every visit. But, once there I'm confident in their skill and appreciate their caring way.
