I spent 4 years in therapy and have marked atrophy and sentenced to the rest of my life with little to no use of my arm. My therapist sent me there. I was told l was not that bad. Wasted time and money in traveling there.

He didn't follow threw post-op. Have never been able to make contact with Dr. SPINNER. There were post-op complications that were never addressed and still have problems to this day. Continue to have the same problems as prior to surgery.

Dr. Spinner performed selective peripheral denervation surgery on me. The surgery successfully treated my symptoms. He is an amazing surgeon and I couldn't be happier! He is a wonderful person and I enjoyed interacting with him throughout the entire process.

I suffered for nearly 6 years with cervical dystonia and was to the point of giving up and accepting I would live in pain the rest of my life when I found out about Dr. Spinner. Incredible is the first word thar springs to mind. He and his team knew and understand what I was dealing with constantly. When I awoke from surgery, that horrible, gnawing, wrenching pain was gone and I could look straight ahead for the first time in years. Dr. Spinner gave me my life back! He is exceptionally intelligent, kind, and professional. He, and the entire Mayo team, are not the gold standard...they are platinum. Mayo is a wonderful place and should be emulated by every healthcare system in the country.

A brilliant kind, compassionate, talented one of a kind physician who in 3 mins can do what takes others physicians days. Saved my arm. I could not thank him enough. Mayo does see an enormous amount of patients the best in the world. From the door greeters and information desk to nursing they absolutely try their hardest to please. The waiting rooms very comfortable. Artwork in halls exceed most museums I’ve been to.

Mayo is a machine. Patients are not people. Everyone is one of hundreds of thousands of numbers where no one knows your name or remembers your face unless you live locally. If you come from afar and need Spinner, find out how your care will be managed back home for post op problems/concerns. Good luck ever getting Spinner on the phone after surgery. You are likely one and done. There is no compassion, no loyalty. If you need care later on for the same problem, he will turn his back on you.

Dr. Spinner is very kind and his bedside manner is A+. This was my 2nd surgery at Mayo for the same problem and will definitely go back to Dr. Spinner if another instance pops up. My whole experience was well worth the drive.
