Dr. Schwan's Practice offers a complete set of Dental Services. The Practice has State-Of-The-Art equipment and is staffed with the best dental professionals I have ever had the pleasure of using for my dental work. Everyone working in the Practice is friendly, accommodating, highly trained, and professional. Dr. Schwan has a nice mannerism. His staff is cordial and respectful. They explain what they are doing while they are doing it.

Dr.Schwan and his staff are awesome. He is a great Dentist and always there to help out in a situation, and I have had a few, like capped tooth fell off, cracked a tooth and quite a few other things he took care of very quickly. I really don’t like Dentists but Dr. Schwan and his staff make it a pleasure!!

Friendly staff and they are always prompt. When you show up for your appointment the staff is waiting for you. I have never experienced waiting in the lobby for my appointment.

Every visit to Dr. Schwan is a pleasant experience. The staff is almost like family. Have been patient for 30+ years!

Our family has been going to Dr. Schwan for years. We are always greeted promptly and professionally by Jen at the front desk. She is kind and attentive. The hygienists, Holly and Lisa, are talented and thorough. I honestly feel like Holly remembers every detail we have ever discussed. You can tell Dr. Schwan really likes his work. Some just want big money, and will do a bad job. (I've been to those doctors)

I love Dr Schwan he is very gentle and accommodating. I have struggled for years to find the right dentist. I've been going to him for over 10 years.

The staff was very nice, especially Jen at the front desk. Dr. Schwan was nice at first too, but seemed irritable when I had questions about my teeth after the cleaning was finished. It was almost like he felt like he was too good to receive any type of feedback that wasn’t positive. When I tried asking questions I was cut off multiple times and I was told that if I did not believe what he was saying that I needed to have a second opinion. When I never said I didn’t believe him. A thorough explanation about what I was asking about would have been fine. I’ve never experienced this from any other dentist office that I have been to. My experience leaving this office made me feel like I did not want to return or recommend to any of my family members or friends. This was a waste and I could have used my visit elsewhere.The attitude that I experienced from Dr. Schwan towards the end of my visit was very off putting and quite upsetting. I though this would be my new general dentist after reading all of the other reviews, but absolutely NOT. I will be taking my business elsewhere. * EDIT I see that you had enough time to respond but not take accountability or even apologize for your behavior. Yes, I was a few minutes late for my appointment which I apologized for prior to being seated. However, if you did not have enough time to complete the appointment thoroughly, that should have been stated at the beginning. Communication is key. A patient being late does not give you a pass for being nasty and condescending. The teeth with bonding on them from the ortho treatment were not the teeth that I was referring to. You would have understood that had you listened instead of talking over me. Also, if the cleaning was done properly there would not have been tartar left behind. As the owner of your practice please do better. I have already stated that I will not be returning but I would hate for another person to come in and experience what I did today. It’s a shame that even your staff was aware of how nasty you were being and apologized on your behalf. Don’t be so arrogant that you forget how powerful word of mouth is. From the time you are greeted at the door till the time you leave, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I truly enjoy my experiences at the office and can’t wait to go back. The dental hygienists always remember specific details about you and make it a point to get to know you. I have had Lisa as my dental hygienist the last few times I have gone and it is always a pleasure. It’s like visiting a friend while you get your work done. Having traveled for work the past decade I have had to visit over twenty dentists and without a doubt Dr. Schwan is the best I’ve encountered. I used to be terrified of dentists. Based on friends' recommendations, I "bit the bullet" (so to speak) and went to Dr. Schwan. Now it's nothing to fear. Dr. Schwan takes care of the major issues (of which there now aren't any!) and staff do a great job with maintenance. Excellent, all around.

I highly recommend Dr. Schwan and his entire staff. They are all very professional, friendly and care about your well being and comfort. The office is always clean and runs on time. You'll be in great hands with Dr. Schwan!

I came to dr Schwan as a little girl. After years of poor dental habits I’m back & I couldn’t be happier. I’ve seen several dentists over the years & NO ONE surpasses Dr Schwan & his team. Dentist offices usually give me anxiety, but not here. Dr Schwan told me what I needed, fixed it and I was done. He not only remembered my parents, but also my dear late grandmother. That sort of stuff doesn’t happen much now a days — so if you see this review LOOK NO FURTHER! Dr Schwan & his staff are wonderful. I highly recommend. Excellent dentist -- especially for someone who had feared dentists like the plague beforehand. Thorough but not pushy, very good staff all around. And a recommendation -- they have electric toothbrushes for sale at a reasonable price that I now use, and haven't had a cavity in years now!

My childhood dentist retired many years ago. Have been to half a dozen dentists since then, and all a compromise. Dr. Schwan's office made me smile when I visited for the first time. Was seen at my appointment time, not 30 minutes later. Office is modern and staff was awesome. Will recommend to all!

My wife's family has had Dr. Schwan as their family dentist since she was born, and now he is taking care of our children as well. He and his staff are friendly, professional, and caring. We recommend him to anyone in Chester County.

I have been going to Dr. Schwan since I moved to West Chester over ten years ago. The staff and hygienists are all very friendly and professional and Dr. Schwan is very gentle and thorough. I would highly recommend Dr. Schwan and his staff.

Nobody likes to go the dentist but Dr. Schwan and his staff do a great job and make it reasonable. They are friendly and polite - and there is rarely a long wait - either for an appointment or in the office. I highly recommend Dr. Schwan.

I went to Dr. Schwan and he told me that I needed to replace 4 silver fillings because they were "cracked" and he wanted to replace them with the resin ones. I had no problems with my teeth until he messed with them. I had 3 of them done and have had problems with one ever since. I will be needing a root canal because of it. When I found a new dentist he told me that I did NOT have to have the 4th one replaced, it was fine. It has been several years since then and it is still fine.
