I found Dr Schnackenberg when my doctor retired. I was in desperate need of my medication so I began the task of finding a new doctor and eventually found Dr Schnackenberg's office and I have to say from the first phone call with Sandy who was awesome, and the entire staff here are truly a diamond in the rough. I have been Dr Snackenberg's patient for about a year now. He is awesome like a dear friend you you can trust. I'm so lucky to have found him. The entire staff here are professional, kind, and intelligent people that do their jobs right!!! Kudos to all of you at Dr Schnackenberg's office! Thank you

Robert Schnackenberg MD is an honest and genuine person. He always takes time to listen to your concerns. He is one of the top best psychiatrists I've ever known.

I am a long term patient of Dr. Schnackenberg. Over the years, I have found him to be a very good doctor. He is a caring person and he listens to everything I want to discuss. He has always provided me with alternate ways of viewing events that disturb me. He has changed my meds from time to time and also increased or decreased doses as needed. I do not think he is accepting new patients, but I want to let people know that he really is a terrific doctor. I saw some negative comments on this forum earlier that I disagree with and felt compelled to share my knowledge and experience as Dr. Schnackenberg’s patient.

Absolutely awful doctor, prescribes the same medications for most of his patients, won't listen to your concerns, won't even look you in the eye when you're telling him about the negative side effects of your medications, has caused years of mistrust in psychiatrists. Horrible man!

Such a good person and so very intelligent thankful for our sessions for sure!!

All he wants to do is put medication on you like a lab rat.

He is terrible. Don't dare question his judgement, he will snap on you like a rattlesnake. He does not believe you when you tell him what side effects his prescribed medications cause.

Of all the psychiatrists whom I have seen or under whose care I have been involved, Dr. Robert Schnackenberg is far and away the VERY BEST psychiatrist anywhere! I was a revolving door in and out of psychiatric hospitals until he took me under his 'wing' and immediately put me on the correct medication.
