Wow Dr. Schmid did a great job. I got my procedure done 6 months ago and that was the best thing I ever did in my life. My tummy tuck looks amazing. I have my life back and not ashamed to wear short tops.

That is probably one of the worst designed signs I've ever seen. Is it schooty MD plastic surgery? Why is their kerning so bad? Is this their actual logo? Why? What's it supposed to say? How am I supposed to trust they know what their doing when they can't even get a legible sign?

I have had only great experiences with Dr. Schmid and his staff. It is clear he is well-known and well-respected in his field. I am extremely happy with my results and would definitely recommend him to anyone interested in breast augmentation. His staff are always friendly and attentive. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience.

Dr. Schmid and his staff have been professional, helpful, and kind from start to finish! My decision to have surgery was not easy for me and it was not made in one consultation. It took me approximately 5 years, and 2 consultations, before I decided to go through with it. In those 5 years I had been in and out for other visits and by the time I was ready, I was as sure as I could be that I had chosen the right Dr. I had such a great experience and I am so pleased with my results!! If I had to do it all over again, I would and I wouldn’t change a thing! I HIGHLY recommend Lubbock Plastic Surgery Institute and Dr. Schmid!!!

7/7/2021 Had an explant, lift and some liposuction off the sides on my breasts yesterday. The whole process from calls, office visits and surgery went absolutely perfect such a good experience! Grateful for my amazing nurse Daniel he was there ever step of the way made me feel completely at ease, informed and put in the IV without any pain whatsoever. Dr. Schmid answered all my questions, my breasts look great! I looked up Dr. Schmid just now to recommend to a friend and decided to leave a review! Dr. Schmid gave me, and my sister also, breast reductions in 2009. He was a God send! We are (were) very heavy chested females and it was beginning to mess with our quality of life. I lived in Lubbock at the time and saw Dr. Schmid. I had one consultation and it took his office 2 weeks to process my insurance and call me with a surgery date! He was so informative and discussed with me my options. He even told me no when i wanted C cups because he said he had a duty to make me proportionate LOL. We were so satisfied that my sister traveled from Dallas to have her procedure with him as well. I used Dr. Schmidt for a tummy tuck and thigh lift June 2018! He is amazing. I love my results SO much. His office staff is the best. I am three days post op breast augmentation. You guys, they are beautiful. I’ve never seen such beautiful work. I’m hardly sore. He is the BEST!

Paid $100 for an abdominoplasty consult. Got to ask him exactly 3 questions during our astonishingly short interaction. You can tell he's a busy man. Kind-of gave me the creeps as well. I wouldn't trust him to do such an invasive procedure. He tried to sell it, didn't offer a realistic timeline of returning to work, driving, activities, etc. Everyone I spoke with really whitewashed things. Do your research. It's a difficult surgery to recover from but was not advertised as such. Also of concern... the fact that the procedure would only, by their estimation, take 2 hours. Good surgeons take much longer. Lastly, the proof is in the pudding. Look at the rock star surgerons and their after pictures. Compare schmid's belly buttons to theirs. There is no comparison. He's no Dr. Rahban.

I met Dr. Schmidt yesterday July 3,2019 and before meeting him I had heard many great things about him, but after meeting him I can hardly wait for my surgery and to see the results everyone can say what they want but the good out weigh the bad.

Dr. Schmid and his staff are wonderful! He was receptive to all concerns and questions during pre-op appointments and made the whole surgery process comfortable and easy to understand. He and his staff are always kind and welcoming.

From my consultation, to my surgery and post op care Dr. Schmid and his staff have been amazing! Very detailed in his work and gave me exactly what I was asking for in my breast augmentation. His nurse answered every question I had and made me feel comfortable with my decisions. Would highly recommend him to anyone.

A week and a half out from Mommy Makeover with breast implant exchange, lipo and tummy tuck. Literally 10 days out and I feel like a new person and already loving my results. Can’t wait fir six month follow up and before/after pictures. Would recommend Dr. Schmid hands down a million times over!! Staff is fabulous and friendly too!

Ruined my breasts. Went overkill with my implant size. I wanted a C cup and ended up a G cup! Ended up septic after surgery. No clothes fit. No bras fit. I HATE my breasts now, but can’t afford to have his terrible work fixed. I look overweight because my chest is so big, but I’m only 5’4” and 125lbs. I can’t wear any normal bras or tops. The implants were so large they ripped through my muscle and literally lay over the bottom of my rib cage. Back pain, neck pain and collar bone pain are all I’ve gotten from my bad decision to use him. When I confronted him after surgery about the size, he told me my breasts “looked better bigger”. He didn’t listen to what I wanted and now I’m stuck with ugly, scarred HUGE boobs. I cannot wait to get them removed. By another surgeon. I’ve already had a consult and it’s going to cost over $12k to have his mess repaired to look somewhat normal again. The scarring will be permanent. You’ve been warned!! Absolute worst plastic surgeon in Lubbock!

My entire experience was excellent from the initial consultation through to my post surgery care. I cant say enough great things about Dr. Schmid and his entire staff! They made me feel at ease from the very beginning. My outcome has exceeded my expectations and recovery was a breeze! I recommend Dr.Schmid to all my friends!

Loving my implants by Dr.Schmid! Working with drs all day I understand when they are always in a rush but I’d rather have the best dr in the operating room. I believe Dr. Schmid does the best work.

All that matters to Dr. Schmid is your money. I paid him 12 grand for liposuction. He took the minimum amount of fat and left my back basically untouched knowing it was my main concern. When I told him I was unhappy, he tried to convince me that it was my skin type and not his fault. I knew he had hardly touched it as there was hardly any trauma to it. 2nd time around and he still didn't get it right. I give up! He also didn't do all he said he would during our consultation. Always in a hurry

The worst of West Texas! I went to Dr. Schmid for Breast Augmentation, Liposuction An Brazilian Butt Lift . He seems to care before surgery but not after. I’m having doubts of the procedure he has done. I am having problems with my breast and he doest not care, he is too busy to see me. it has been tree weeks since I first tryied to contact him and doesnt make himself avilable.

I cannot say how pleased I am with Dr. Schmid, his staff, and my results! The entire process from beginning to end was great!

I found Dr. Schmid after searching online for the best place to get cosmetic procedures in the Lubbock area. I first contacted the office online and I got a response within just a few hours, which was great. He has the most prices for injectables that I have come across, combined with quality (meaning procedure done by a physician not at a spa). They were able to get me in at the appointment time I needed to coordinate with my work schedule. Dr. Schmid was really nice and pleasant, but most important I love my results! I've gotten injections before but I think this time looks the best it has. I think that's probably because it's my first time having a Plastic Surgeon do my procedure, as opposed to a Dermatologist (no offense to them though!) Walking into LPSI the first time sealed the deal for me. When I was "shopping" for a surgeon, I wanted to make sure I felt at ease and that all of my questions and concerns were addressed. Dr. Schmid's staff made me very comfortable and his manner and sincerity made me confident that I chose well. After 3 different major procedures and a few other minor touches, I would not go anywhere else and I would highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking a procedure.
