Dr. Robert A Scalia

Absolutely insane! He has misdiagnosed my child previously & when we were in today for a simple physical form, he was completely unprofessional, rude, and was shouting in his waiting about giving him shots which did nothing but scare my 4 year old. He is awful. I signed a release for his records in November, it is now May & they still don’t have them. I understand that the other doctor would need to send them; but he has seen him MULTIPLE times since & never mentioned not having them! How are you treating a CHILD patient that you don’t have the medical history on!?! The office staff was very kind & the woman who took his weight was very kind to him. But the doctor himself? Nuts! I should have known better than to take them to a doctor in a little strip mall, but I definitely know for next time & will be sure to advise anyone, especially those with children to look elsewhere! The office is a minute from my home & I will gladly be taking them 45 minutes to Dr. Gilbert in Tamaqua because having a decent DOCTOR is worth it. Absolutely insane! Me and my family have been going to dr Scalia for many years. He listens takes time to listen to your concerns and passionate at his work. His nurses are kind and caring and makes you feel like family.

Dr.scalia is a great dr.he listens to you and make sure he sends to to all the right drs.its been a blessing to have him as a dr.since I moved here 3 years ago.i give him a ten plus he's also my daughter's dr.as treats her well as well.

Dr. Scalia and his staff are wonderful! They always have appointments available, and you never wait long to be seen once you're there. An excellent choice for a primary care doctor!

Dr. Scalia CARES and I think the world of him. He listens, shows compassion and concern when needed and I never dread going to see him. Very friendly and helpful staff as well!!

Generally cares about you as a person rather than a number. Promotes wellness screenings. In an emergency, Dr. is readily available. Unlike other doctors that "Promise" a call back by the end of the business day, Dr. will take the time to advise his office staff of his professional opinion WHILE you are on the line with them. If the emergency can be concluded by being seen in the office, the staff will accommodate you the same day. His office staff are amazingly kind, welcoming and cordial

I love going to Dr. Scalias. He's rite here in town plus I can take all my children to him which is even better yet. He listens to how u feel and tries his best to help make ya better and monitors the progress or treatmean. Stephanie and Lacey are also wonderful to. It's a nice calm relaxing environment and it'snot over crowed and no long waits.

Dr Scalia is a very excellent doctor and I feel blessed that I have found him he takes his time with you listens to you and answers all your questions there should be more doctors like him for all the people he is kind and gentle and has a very nice bedside manner and only when you're finished with your concerns only then does he get up and leave the room again a very excellent physician
