MY CHILD WAS ON THE WAITING LIST FOR 9 MONTHS BEFORE EVEN AN APPOINTMENT WITH DR ROTH COULD BE MADE, I WAS REFERRED BY NY CHILDS SCHOOL AFTER ALL TESTING AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SCHOOL HAD BEEN COMPLETED ON MY CHILD AND THEN WHEN THE APPOINTMENT DAY FINALLY ARRIVED I HAD TO WAIT 4 HOURS WHILE NY CHILD WAS BEING TESTED AND WAITED WITH MY MOTHER IN LAW NEVER EVEN SEEN DR ROTH LET ALONE MEET AND I WATCHED SIX. WEEKS BEFORE CALLING AND DEMANDING MY CHILDS REPORTS AND DOCTORS DIAGNOSIS AND THEN HAD TO WAIT ANOTHER TWO WKS TO RECEIVE THE RESULTS BY MAIL BY THE WAY WHICH TOLD ME DR ROTH COULDN’T PROVIDE ANY TYPE OF DIAGNOSIS OR ANYTHING WHATSOEVER BECAUSE I FAILED TO PROVIDE THEM WITH ANY PREVIOUS TESTING INFORMATION WHEN AS I SAID THE SCHOOL REFERRED ME AND SENT DR ROTH FIVE YEARS OF TESTING THEY’D DONE WITH MY CHILD DIRECTLY AND WHAT KIND OF TESTING WAS DONE WITH MY CHILD FOR THISE FOUR HOURS

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I have a degree in psychology and have spent a lot of time in therapy, so I usually know what to expect at these kind of appointments. I was wrong. I wasn't taken seriously, I wasn't seen/heard, I was stuck with $900 bill b/c of an error on their part with insurance, I went through 7 hours of testing without a break, and after all that wasn't given any helpful results. I assumed it was my fault somehow, so I moved on. Now that I see these comments...i'm sorry I didn't post this sooner!! Please don't waste your time/money, there are other options online! I have since been diagnosed with ADHD, and have finally after 5 years of feeling like it was my fault, am making an appointment to right the wrong that was done at Roth Neuropsychology

Dr. Roth did a great job diagnosing our daughter for ADD and ASD. He was compassionate, and very rare in the area to deal with an adult female ASD diagnosis. He listened to our input and more importantly listened to our daughter. Diagnosis was thorough. Only con was a significant delay in getting official written results, though he did a call where everything was explained shortly after evaluation. It's a tradeoff. Good with diagnosis, vs not good at timely response. Experiences with others in the area were unacceptable in terms of failing to correctly diagnose, but quicker with the useless reports. Bottom line, we'd see him again.

Staff was extremely rude. Especially the one that was giving Me the text. The old woman. She was very verbally abusive. Dr Roth did not test me like he said he was supposed to do. They treated me like I was trash. Awful place. Very bad customer service. And they lied on my testing results. All Roth’s office does is take people’s insurance and don’t help them. That’s is all they are after. Money hungry!!!!!!

Dr . Roth was very professional and easy to talk with. I would definitely refer this Dr. For anyone in need of help.

It took over 5 months to receive my evaluation, which was never discussed with me at the initial appointment. The amount of incorrect information listed in my history is negligent and takes the legitimacy out of my results. It’s pretty bad when a doctor lists that you have 2 children when you do not have any! I should also note that I’ve never even met Dr. Roth... you know, the person that wrote my evaluation. Ridiculous.

Please seek help elsewhere. After waiting over 5 months for my evaluation (and my condition being confirmed and treated by multiple tests and appointments with my neurologist during this time...in 3 months), what I received is negligent and totally discredits the results that I received. I never met Dr. Roth (someone else did the actual evaluation) through any of this, but he got paid for doing my evaluation. My "history" that they have listed on the report is a joke. I'm not sure who they were describing, but it sure wasn't me. I do not have any children, yet it is listed that I have TWO... along with many other discrepancies. My position with the State of TN requires my staff and I to regularly make referrals for psychological evaluations for our clients... I would be embarrassed and ashamed to send anyone to Dr. Roth.

I still haven’t heard of my results of my child and his testing was over 6 months ago. They billed my insurance $1,0080 6 months ago though. I would advise anyone that is thinking about taking your child here go somewhere else. They must not care about how they treat families with learning disabilities.

Never made it for a visit. Was told by "Jennifer" at your office that you DO NOT accept my insurance which is AETNA Choice and according to my insurance you do accept it.

Accused me of being a hypochondriac. After berating me for half hour or more when we finally started talking about some of my physical health issues he stated that I did have some issues worth addressing. Even scheduled a follow up testing for me which I cancelled due to his treatment and judgement during the first half of my visit. I have since seen another physician who treated me with much more respect. I work as a nurse. I know better than to treat my patients the way he treated me.
