Avoid! Phone system is always down, office staff is incompetent, if you have an ear problem just ask the office manager Natale she seems to think she's a doctor and will self diagnose your ear problem and then will tell strangers about your ear issue! This place has many complaints and should be shut down ASAP!!

Awful. He’s so rude, told me he doesn’t have a “ crystal ball” and that he cannot tell me if my Tonsillitis will come back again or not. Do not see this specialist save your time and money.

I’ve been going here for a number years and I’ve been treated with the exemplary courtesy and professionalism by Dr. Risica and all of his staff. I never have to wait long in the waiting room.

Don’t waste your valuable time. You sit on hold for half an hour while the message tells you you have 30 minutes to wait, then you have 22 minutes away, then you have 28 minutes to wait, etc. Don’t understand how your wait time can go up and down over and over again over. This operation isn’t all that big, certainly not big enough to justify such long waits. When I finally got thru, I then tried to make an appointment for my elderly mom, but they wouldn’t let me because I didn’t have her Medicare number with me. I said she could bring her paperwork with her to the appointment, but that wasn’t good enough so all my time wasted. I think the slogan on the door of the practice says: “Everything for the convenience of the practice, patients and family: out of luck.” Now looking for another doctor and practice. Dr Risica himself is fine, it’s the staff that is a complete problem. I was extremely sick last week and Dr Risica ordered bloodwork for me to be done at the local lab. It’s been 5 days and I still have not received it. Better yet, I’ve called the office number 3 times since I had my appt, no responses. The lab tells me it still has not been sent in my the office yet. The office workers would probably have an easier time working at McDonald’s, because that is more of a job they’re suited for ???????? I have had no problems. Dr. Risica has done 3 surgeries on my daughter and he has always been caring and through. He is only in Wakefield on Wed and Thurs though.

Didn’t listen to anything I said,

Dr. Risica does not listen, does not answer questions, or seem to care about your health situation. After explaining the reason for the referral and visit he dismisses what you have said and even forgets what you've just said. I went to him because he is a "Specialist" but I feel a PCP would offered more help than this doctor. My experience was a BIG disappointment because invested so much time getting the referral but I did not receive any help from this Doctor. So I would not recommend him to anyone. I am sure there are many qualified ENT's that would genuinely care about their patients health. Don't waste your time.

Dr. Risica listens AND hears what I am saying during my office visits. He is careful, caring, and helpful, as well as knowledgeable in his field. He is on time for my appointments and does not rush through the appointment. I sincerely wish all of my physicians treated me like Dr. Risica does.

I would not recommend Dr. Risica. He is not helpful at all. Does not listen, does not answer questions. Ignorant. Do not waste your life, time and money.

told me i had my tonsils and adenoids out. I knew that. Was told that i a risk for surgery at least 10 times. didn't tell me what he could or not do. Referred me to another Dr. For the same thing i went to see him for

Dr Risica is not a very approachable person. My daughter who is a toddler and can not communicate well has seen him a handful of times. Each time my daughter has been scared. He did very little to comfort her and continued to tell me nothing is wrong with her golf ball sized tonsils. Well I know when my daughter is uncomfortable and Dr. Risica has done little to help her.
