Dr. Robert Timothy Radel

I went yesterday for a root canal. Dr Radel and his team were very professional and finished the job really quickly. Today I am in no pain at all. I even got a follow up phone call from their office this morning which I thought was very nice. Lots of reviews are saying dr Radel was rude but I didn’t find it that way. He’s just a straightforward professional who’s very busy and doesn’t have time for chit-chatting and weather discussions. I’d certainly go back.

I’m a nervous patient. Dr. Radel, his assistant, and the whole office went above-and-beyond to make me comfortable and relaxed. Educated me on root canals, There was never any pain. I choose them if I need another root canal. BTW: the office is beautiful.

I can’t even imagine who’s giving all of these glowing reviews. Maybe his family and friends? He has zero personality and doesn’t even talk to his patients, only his assistant. I had a root canal, and not knowing anything about them, talking to people about it later, I realized that he did not put a temporary cap on my tooth! I’m sharing this review in response to how awful Dr Radel treated my sister! She was in so much pain for 4 days (because of the holiday weekend) and then was able to make an appointment with his office. Thankful for her appointment because we knew she would feel better after the root canal. My sister told him upfront that she had much anxiety about the procedure, the “Dr” ignored her warning not even saying something nice like “you’ll be fine”. He started the procedure and of course she had a foretold panic attack! He stood in the back of the room very annoyed (by the tone in his voice and the crossing of his arms)! After the procedure was done, my sister apologized for the panic attack! The assisting nurse was very reassuring and sweet however, trying to calm her! Thank you to her! Seriously a joke, glad I did not have the opportunity to let them touch me. Was referred by my general dentist for an “urgent” re-treatment for tooth 15 that I already had a root canal and crown on a few years back. Was given prescriptions for a week to hold me over but was told needed to be seen ASAP! Got scheduled a week out. Got a call just now on Sunday afternoon cancelling my appointment for Monday AM. Was told I’ll call you tomorrow to reschedule. Not a single question of how I’m feeling, no direction back to my general dentist or letting me know if another colleague of his could see me absolutely nothing!!!Which leads me to already know they only care about Themselves their schedules, and their money. Radal was rude. Mentioned gag reflex and told them what I took before to help and instead they prescribed something different. Rude and uncaring. On their website they offer all these things like Noh invasive X-rays. And computer guided anesthesia which they didn’t have then the website says they have TVs in every room but they didn’t have it. I told them if they numbed more areas in my mouth that would help but they refused to do it. Worst dental experience ever Radal was rude. Today I've had the pleasure once again of seeing Dr. Radel for a root canal. Obviously having to have one done stinks but Dr. Radel and his staff make the process smooth and easy! I've had to have two root canals in the last year, both performed by Dr. Radel. He is very professional and the results have been excellent. I have some issues with my gag reflex during dental procedures but he and his assistant were able to help me get through it without to much drama and I am very grateful for that. I would definitely recommend him if you need any endodontics procedures.

Dr. Radel was very patient with my problematic root canal situation. I am very pleased (and lucky) to have gotten an appointment the very next day after I called. I was in a lot of pain and could not even sleep. Upon leaving the office, I felt relief and was happy it was over. The staff members were very pleasant...they were all so kind and helpful...even with direction to get to the office.

Dr. Radel was very professional and made the experience painless.

Had an appointment with Dr. Radel to have a root canal on a problematic molar tooth. Almost instantaneously I felt confident regarding my upcoming procedure. Dr. Radel carefully explained the root canal process after reviewing an extensive number of x-rays taken. The entire process from beginning to end was approximately 75 minutes and Dr. Radel did a sensational job. Not only was Dr. Radel highly experienced and knowledgeable but I could tell throughout the procedure that he was quite confident in his every action. The root canal process is no doubt extensive, however, I was well prepared in advance. Kudos also to Dr. Radel's staff who were exceptional as well. If ever the need again for Endodontic care I would not hesitate returning to his office. To go one step further I highly recommend Dr. Radel, he is exceptional.

I have SEVERE dental anxiety and Dr. Robert Radel was excellent. He was so kind and spoke clearly in words I understood and wasn’t condescending at all. Amazing “bedside manner.”

The procedure I had, went very well. Overall experience was great. I am rating this 3 stars, due to paying in full at the front desk and later receiving a bill stating I owed them more money. This should of been announced at the front desk and not billed months later. I was put into collections after disputing this with them. Unfortunately I had to get a root canal. Fortunately I was referred to this office. Not only was the staff super friendly but the office was nice. Best dental experience ever. Completely painless root canal. I was extremely nervous prior to getting treated. The atmosphere was so inviting and the team was very reassuring. Highly recommended this location for your Endodontics needs.

Dr. Radel is wonderful as is staff. I feel so lucky to have found them! He took the time to work with my 'dental fears' to make the whole root canal procedure run smoothly. His assistant Kahna (spelling?) was just as wonderful. Highly recommend.

Dr. Radel is wonderful. I have had two successful root canals done by him. He is very professional, explains everything very clearly and makes you feel comfortable during treatment. I would recommend him 100%. He even calls you personally to check on you the next day. Excellent endodontics doctor.

Service so great had to do a review for those new to the area military spouses trying to find a great trusting doctor. Went in for a root canal and had a wonderful experience with Dr. Radel, procedure was quick and painless besides the initial numbing process which was a brief pinch. Also, the staff is amazing as well super nice.

My visit for a root canal went very well. The staff was pleasant and friendly. Dr. Radel was thoughtful and professional and seemed to have a good sense of humor dealing with my stupid jokes. I have anxiety and they were very good about tending to my needs. I received thorough aftercare instructions and I didn’t feel a thing during the procedure. I’m glad that I chose to have my root canal done at Beaches Endodontics.

Dr. Radel is a super Endodontist. He did a root canal on one of my teeth 3 months ago. His diagnosis was spot on, the treatment took exactly as long as he said it will, and I had no pain during it. During follow-up he was very patient and comforting. His office manager is very professional (I am not surprised, though). My wife had a similar experience with him a few years ago. I am a fan!

This is my 2nd root canal in 4 years with Dr. Radel. Excellent dentist with a great staff. No wait time. Highly recommend!

I had my first ever root canal and it went so smoothly. The worst part was the numbing shots but besides that I didn’t feel a thing and Dr. Radel and his staff were very nice.

Dr. Radel is the best! I was very anxious to have a root canal and the doctor listened and was patient with me. I did not experience pain during the procedure and it was fairly quick. I went to my general dentist the same day for a crown and he gave me a copy of the x-ray with my diagnosis and treatment he provided on the spot. My general dentist was impressed and it kept me from having x-rays done again. I was still numbed up long enough to get my crown. And I requested no epinephrine! The next day Dr. Radel called me personally to check on how I was doing. We need more docs like him! His staff was awesome too! Dr. Radel is the best! Beaches Endodontist, located in Jacksonville Beach, is The Best! The office is very clean, updated, and nicely decorated. The staff is respectful and knowledgeable, and Dr. Radel is an excellent Endodontist! He is calm and kind and patient, with great skills. He thoroughly answered all my questions, finished the entire procedure in one visit, and he was extremely gentle when injecting the anesthesia. He definitely took the fear out of having a root canal! I highly recommend Beaches Endodontics!

As a first time visitor, Dr. Radel and his staff were honest, polite, kind, and timely. He was very informative and carefully explained my case.
