Dr. Robert L Quarles

First time in years that I had a PCP. Long story. I received a recommendation from another healthcare provider to see Dr. Quarles. Was super nervous for first visit. Doctor Quarles made me feel right at home and attentively listened to what I had to say and took his time talking with me. He is also very hilarious and lively in a positive way but doesn't over do it and is serious when he needs to be; and he makes me feel like I'm not just going to a regular old doctor, but to a doctor that appears to be truly passionate about what he does. He treats me like a human being and not like just another patient. The staff in the front room is very friendly and helpful and they made me feel welcome. Dr. Quarles even will come to the front to say hello to his staff and patients that are out there waiting just like I read in another review. So far, I think this is a practice worth checking out. Best part is that it's a private practice. So no having to talk to a robot when trying to set up appointments or ask questions. You get an actual human being on the line when the phone is answered. They are also good about checking to make sure they take your insurance before you even set up an appointment. Overall pleased.

Dr. Quarles is absolutely one of my favorite PCPs. He is polite, personable, and takes his time to ensure you understand your diagnosis, medications, and next steps. This was very important to me, as most doctors rush you in and out - leaving you frustrated and confused. You won't get that with him. His office (including his staff) is warm and hospitable - whether you are on the phone or physically at the office. For example, right before my first appointment, I witnessed Dr. Quarles coming out to say "hello" to his staff and the patients in the waiting area. Additionally, Dr. Quarles and his staff are prompt and proactive. If I need to call in for something, I always receive a call back the same day - with my questions answered. They even took the liberty of scheduling my referral appointments, which took a lot of pressure off of me to find and schedule specialty doctors for my condition. I am extremely happy I found Dr. Quarles. He is polite, personable, and takes his time to ensure you understand your diagnosis, medications, and next steps. This was very important to me, as most doctors rush your appointment- leaving you frustrated and confused. He isn't like that at all. I have been treated by Dr. Quarles for over 25 years now and I find him to be compassionate, knowledgeable, comprehensive and a good listener.

Tells it like it is but is thoughtful about how he words it so as not to hurt your feelings. This is a change from 10 years ago. He got better at motivating a positive change. I have been his patient for most of my adult life. He took over for Fred Melhorn and became my family physician.

Dr. Quarles is actively engaged in working with his patients to help them focus on areas of their life that will improve overall wellness. He does not make you simply feel like one of countless patients walking through his door. I look forward to partnering with him for many years in helping me achieve my health goals.

He takes the time to listen to your concerns, and he puts a plan together to help you solve your health issues so that you can reach your wellness goals.

When I called to talk to Dr. Quarles about how his staff was making fun of me & taking turns answering his phone, to keep me from seeing him this day and other days because of them not being educated enough to work in a medical office, because they are mean girls working up front, they continued to bully me about Spinal Cord surgery.....They questioned me like I was a little girl making this all up. I have a 6" incision that he thought I was coming to see him for attention for 10 years for..

This was my first visit to a doctor of osteopathy. Had back problems, with pain all the way down to my foot. During this visit my problem was confirmed by xray, and he treated me the same day with a shot in my back (did not hurt much, just felt like a regular shot.) Have had great pain relief!! Nice doctor who was thorough and kind. Nice office staff. Highly recommend. Thank you

Dr. Quarles has been our family physician for at least 20 years. He is truly an exceptional practitioner and I give him the highest possible recommendation.
