The Columbus Prostate Cancer Center is an excellent facility if you need radiation therapy for prostate cancer. Dr Piroli is very thorough and helpful in planning your therapy. Also the staff at CPCC is fantastic. Their friendliness is important when you need 45 days of treatments.

Prostate Radiation treatment

Dr. Piroli was my radiation oncologist at the Columbus Prostate Cancer Center. He is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my treatment questions. He was understanding and made recommendations for treatment of the radiation side effects.

The staff was extremely friendly, and caring. They were always willing to help. I felt like they were friends that really cared about my treatment and comfort.

Dr. Peroli and his staff, Trish head nurse, Bryan,Brindi,Lisa and Stacy the radiologist and Lorri and Katina the administrative staff are the best! They genuinely care about how you are doing as they lead you thru your multiple radiation treatments

Very professional which I like. He’s is knowledgeable the treatments and any side effects you might have. I would highly recommend him.

We would highly recommend the Columbus Prostate Cancer Center. Its amazing staff— from the receptionists to the nurse to the techs—is very understanding of the issues related to the process and preparation for each radiation treatment, and as a result, is very caring and flexible with each patient. My husband is dealing with an additional health issue, and they were very helpful in keeping him on track during his 39 treatments. We met at length with Dr. Piroli on our first visit, and spoke with him by phone each Monday. A very caring practice.

I have nothing but the best thoughts when I think of the staff at the Columbus Prostrate Cancer Center. Dr. Piroli was clear, concise, and upfront in all of our conversations and meetings and the staff at the center were the nicest and most professional group I have ever dealt with. From the front desk to the lab techs and nurse, they always had me smiling and in a great mood no matter how I felt when I arrived. I strongly endorse the work and attitudes that all of these people presented, day after day. Due to severe lower back pain, it was difficult moving in the office and lying on the radiation table. The staff at CPCC were extremely helpful in transferring me on and off the table. This wonderful staff is due a huge "thank you". I would refer CPCC to anyone who requires radiation therapy.

I had 45 days of radiation treatment for Prostate Cancer. Dr. Piroli explained in detail what to expect. Dr. Piroli is professional but showed a personal care & concern. Trish McGrath, LPN gave me a hug after each meeting until COVID-19 prevented contact. The staff was efficient and friendly. The Technicians providing the treatments were courteous & understanding of the discomfort incurred. By the end of my treatment I felt everyone was my friend. I baked a Sweet Potatoe Pie and Samoa Brownies for the office during my treatment. Everyone signed my Certificate of Completion and sent me cards wishing me well. The treatment required physical discomfort but I began looking forward to each visit & seeing everyone. I was fortunate in having no side affects and my follow up appointments with my Urologist, Dr. Cho (he is great also), indicate I have no cancer & no Prostate issues. I recommend Dr. Piroli and the Columbus Prostrate Cancer Center to anyone in need. My thanks to everyone.

I had 37 treatment and finished last week. I was well pleased with my care. I would recommend them to any man who is looking for treatment. The staff was very profession & kind. They answered any & all questions ,always Listened to what I was asking I am not just saying DR. The doctor and staff are good people and they care about you. We were all being treated for prostate cancer. Because we were all dealing with the same diagnosis/issues it made me feel comfortable coming in everyday for treatment.

Dr. Piroli and his staff have a unique way of making the patients feel like family. Even during the difficult “stay-at-home order”, the staff were prepared and were ready and capable. Amidst the masks and hand sanitizer, it still felt like family.

Diagnosed with prostate cancer. Visited with Dr. Piroli initially to discuss the radiation procedure. Presented the process well, answering all my question and some I hadn't thought of. 44 treatments were handled well by his team. Friendly, polite, caring, efficient and did their jobs well.

When my Radiation Oncology Nurse Trisha McGrath suggested that I might find Dr.Piroli “a bit quirky” , I wasn’t sure what to expect . But then after finding out that we were both baseball and football fans , he was able to put me completely at ease about my treatment plan . Each day he was reassuring about the challenges of prepping my bladder before my radiation treatment . Punctual and positive , his attitude is echoed by the team he has built. Does it sound odd that I will miss my interactions with he and his staff ? I received no financial remuneration for writing this review !
