I have been a patient of his for over a decade...he manages my Thyroid, Cholesterol/Cardiac and Hormones. I am amazed at how much knowledge he possesses. When as issue arises, he finds the answers. Dr. Bob is warm, caring and truly goes the extra mile for his patients. I have referred many to his practice. I am amazed how much time he spends going over blood works and the knowledge he possesses in both Conventional, as well as Holistic Modalities. I trust home with my life!

Anyone looking for holistic care with a super knowledgeable doctor in the Santa Barbara, please go see Dr. Mathis. He has a wealth of knowledge and within 2 weeks I had more information and solutions for what was happening with my health that the previous 3 years. He is old school in the best way ... personal, warm, funny and yet to the point. I highly recommend his services. In his care, I finally felt the way healthcare must have felt 50 years ago ... My experience with Dr. Mathis has been nothing short of miraculous. I have been dealing with Graves Disease and chronic fatigue for many years. I have worked with endocrinologists at Stanford and in LA, but Dr. Mathis was the first to provide real relief. He is a true 'integrative medicine' practitioner in the best sense, i.e. working with the body as a whole. The breadth and depth of his knowledge and experience stands in stark contrast to the tunnel vision one so often finds in other specialists.

Unprofessional

Want to ruin your life with an opioid addiction? It's baffling that this man is allowed to practice.

Dr. Mathis is a compent and caring doctor. Hes the Doctor Welby of our era. He even makes house calls! he was 100% there for me helping me to ween off of sleeping pills -benzos in particular. Im now successfully off them because of Dr. Mathis and I thank him from the bottom of my heart!

Before seeing Dr Mathis I had daily nausea, skin irritation, brain fog and fatigue all the time. I saw 5 physicians before him who all came up short. Dr Mathis crafted a simple but direct treatment plan of 1 medication and a specialized diet and my sympoms were gone within a week. So greateful!

Dr. Mathis is unique,1 of a kind. He has 4 Board certifications,which is unheard of. When my PCP told me to see a shrink, Dr. M solved my problem in 1 visit (a miracle at the time). The second miracle was 18 months ago,when I was ready to have surgery (TURP) for BPH. By using the treatment that Dr. M INVENTED,my condition improved enough that I no longer need surgery. Truly amazing. Oh,by the way,he charged me about 1/4 of what other specialists wanted for my evaluation. A man NOT motivated by $

Dr Mathis made several changes in my diabetes meds, thyroid meds and diet that proved to be extremely beneficial. He listens well, is available for questions on the phone and is a very caring doctor.
