From my own personal experience, wait times with a scheduled appointment are 3 hours long. My child is autistic and one time I said to an assistant “he’s on the spectrum so he might not fully comply..” and she looked at me puzzled. It is disappointing, really, that coming in that work of field you bump into pediatric staff that are completely clueless to what you’re telling them about your child. The office itself (doors, walls, chairs, restroom, floor) always looks dirty & unorganized therefore doesn’t provide a sanitized/good environment for their patients. All times that I’ve seen Dr. Martinez he has shown little to no interest, he is dry and rarely addresses whether there is any concerns. Because of this my visits have been less than 5 minutes long. Worst pediatrician ever!!!! I have been with this doctor since my baby was newborn 2 yrs and it has not changed, has just got in worst. They are only open MOnday, Tuesday’s, and thursdays full day and Wednesday they open after 2 pm and Friday most of the time are closed and maybe one of the days in the week they close. So basically it’s packed when there open since he only works 3 days! The staff is rude, I took my daughter and the front receptionist was on the phone for 10 mins. She hung up took another call before she attend me. After waiting in the waiting area for an hour I notice ppl that had just arrived have been seen before me. So I ask the lady and she doesn’t even see my girls on there POST ITS list so I wait a little longer notice that others are being seen before me and the lady says 3 more ppl in front of you. Literally 6 ppl have gone inside. They were writing our check ins with a post it card. They probably lost my post it. And it’s not the first time that they skip me. Very rude customer service!

Dr. Martinez has been my children's doctor since they were small. Staff is always friendly and efficient, Dr. Martinez always really attentive.

Extremely great doctor! Waiting time are great never have we had a issue. I would recommend him to all my friends and family.

In the time of Covid-19: receptionist was not wearing a mask. She could not be bothered to greet or to stand up from her chair to privately ask for son's birth date. My sons, as far as I know, are not sick. Their appointment was for a yearly check-up, not to get sick. Finding good doctors is always difficult and Dr. Martinez has always listened, diagnosed, and treated my children wonderfully. However, I did not set up to the appointment just to expose them to someone's lack of consideration for the well-being of my family. Covid is not a joke. Terrible wait times. I waited 2 hours each time I went. I don’t know why they make you schedule an appointment if they don’t honor the appointment time.

Everything is always normal for him. Two hr wait time for him to just tell me to get something over the counter!

They have over pack of patients no where to sit. Yet with a very small parking lot. Not to mention RUDE staff. Had to park next door where it says towing if park so I was worried the whole time if I was going to get towed.. my apt was at 10AM didnt get seen until 1pm with an appointment.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. When I called to set up an appointment for my daughter on July 1st, the receptionist who answered the phone was VERY rude. When I show up to the appointment on the 2nd after waiting TWO HOURS I decided to leave and just take my child to the emergency room. This was a scheduled appointment NOT a random walk in.

I went in as a new patient a couple months ago. The front desk lady was very nice, the wait was very long with no where to sit. The nurses were really friendly! They were very gentle with my child and gave me a lot of information on my baby’s PKU and future appointments.The doctor took forever to see my baby! At the end of my visit the check-out lady I believe her name was Norma! She was extremely rude to a lady in front of me!!! She didn’t even speak Spanish, then there was a lady in the back eating and eating. Also an elder lady who was fighting with the Dr I think it was his mom... when Norma finally attended me she said “what do you want”! That upset me so much! I came back last week for my child’s pending 2 month vaccines he is now 4 months and they still don’t have several in stock!! It’s so frustrating! It saddens me to see that some of the staff members that were really good are no longer there, I had a very bad encounter with the new nurse! She seemed to be lost and not know what she was doing. I didn’t feel comfortable with her putting vaccines on my son. Norma is Super rude and now there’s more new people! This place is filthy, there’s cockroaches, needs a paint job, restroom smells like a portable bathroom! Worst office ever! So unprofessional, with staff eating while working, Drs mom fighting with him in the front desk or by the rooms! No parking! Then one of the back ladies a fat short hair one was harassing one of the nurses from the back! IN FRONT OF ME! One of the nurses said A LA VERGA right in front of me as well and was tossing things around because I told her I had my elder son and if they can see him too? Omg I felt like if I was in the ghetto! I do not understand how he can have such vulgar people working there! Thank God I’m changing Drs I rather wait 4 hours in Dr. Berlioz’s office than be treated bad by Norma, and possibly be given bad information by the new staff and have vaccines put wrong on my child by the nurse in the back! Dr. Martinez has been my kids doctor for close to 20 years. Nothing makes me happier than my now grown children taking their own kids to his clinic. Dr. Martinez & staff is absolutely the best!!

Dr. Martinez has been my daughter's primary doctor for 10 years. Even having moved to San Antonio my daughter and now step daughters see Dr. Martinez; I wouldn't have it any other way. Dr. Martinez and his wife became friends of my mother a long time before having met them myself. Over the years I've come to see him to be more than just a pediatrician. Dr. Martinez listens, he shares his knowledge honestly and even if you're oblivious to it he is so very compassionate. I've been to many facilities over the years, now being a mother of a blended family of 6 ages ranging from 6 - 15 I can tell you that judging the employees or doctors by the cover will hinder you and your child (children) from receiving great medical advice and care. The people he has employed there and has given his professional references to have left and came back because of the type of person he is, its hard to find a profession you enjoy and even harder to find a boss you find good direction from with the knowledge and experience to back it up. His been my son's doctors for years, don't know why I've kept him for so long but let me start by saying how he dosen't explain anything at all barely talks it's like if he doesn't know anything I have to get the words out of him to explain something ! Second his staff, by staff I mean norma shes just the worst rude as hell seems to me shes just sick of everyone ! On the other hand Grace is very kind and helpful! But honestly that place is a nightmare waiting is ridiculous. I'm trying to think about something good to say but I got nothing!

Dr. Robert Martinez is an amazing doctor! BUT one of his staff members that handles the referrals is absolutely the WORST!!!! I've caught her in multiple lies; one about agencies who don't provide in home services and I knew for a fact that they do, her excuse when I confronted her about it..."Oh they don't usually accept your child's insurance." Okay tell me that instead of a lie! in the end that was a complete lie as well. 5 stars because every time I’ve called and have asked to see the doctor ASAP, they’ve given me the same day appointments. Dr Martinez is very nice and explains everything thoroughly. Every recommendation of a product he has made has worked wonders! The staff is friendly and it’s never a long wait.

Dr. Martinez is a very professional doctor. He cares a lot about his patients. He diagnosed my son with asthma and a heart murmur. He sent me to the cardiologist the same day to have my son tested. I strongly recommend Dr. Robert Martinez.

Terrible staff. Lack of communication with patients. No vaccines. They have had to reschedule all patients of all ages because they forgot to order backup. Excuse was, its the holidays, but they havent received December. Sounds kinda fishy. My son had to stay without his medication for more than a week because they forgot to notify Doctor will be out for a week. Apparently they dont care about their patients. Who forgets to order vaccinations. This isn't the first time this happens with their office within a 4 month span. I dont recommend this office. My son stays without his medication once again. Office personnel is extremely rude. When we called to be informed on why they did not have a certain vaccine they simply responded with "I guess we forgot to order extra for people with private insurance." On multiple occasions our appointments have had to been cancelled or postponed at the office without any courtesy calls prior to arriving there. When we ask why we did not receive a phone call both Norma and Mrs. Martinez simply said they were too busy. Ultimately they cancelled our appointment for 12/22 because they did not like how we kept inquiring about how they simply do not have good customer service. To be fair Dr. Martinez is very knowledgeable in what he does, however, the front staff Norma and Mrs. Martinez is what unfortunately led to us no longer having our son or daughter there.
