Dr. Lufkin has been my oncologist over the course of two cancers. He has always been thorough in his treatment as well as his oversight of my conditions. Additionally, he is compassionate and caring of my entire well-being.

Dr Lufkin takes time to review my test results; checks in to see how I am doing; and always explains what the future plan of care is.

Dr. Lufkin and his ENTIRE medical team are absolutely amazing, caring, understanding and really truly care about their patients. I got some not so good news the last time I was there and Dr. Lufkin was very caring. Answered what questions I did have and made sure I understood what he was telling me. Kind,courteous and always willing to listen. Very good doctor!

Yes, I would definitely recommend Dr Lufkin to everyone needing cancer treatment. He is caring and follows thru on everything necessary to beat cancer. My family doctor has a daughter studying to be a doctor and I gave her permission to use me in a case study in her classes. I am pleased with everything.

I have called your billing dept countless times to discuss a bill and not been able to talk with a person. Very discouraging

Dr. Lufkin is a superb physician. He is extremely knowledgeable, has great judgment, and is very personable, always explaining the pros and cons of the treatment options available. I was diagnosed with a glioblastoma in May 2017 and had a projected median survival of 13 months. Under Dr. Lufkin's care, I am still here in July 2021, my MRI shows no evidence of tumor regrowth, and I am grateful for the past three years with my family.

Went great. First visit with Dr Lufkin. On the same page as far as next steps in treatment. Continue to monitor 6 mth MRIs and address issues when identified.

I have been very pleased with our turn off can you come for psychology. They are very responsive and we get great care they have three locations makes it easy to get in and get our treatments done

Dr. Lufkin is great! He spent a great deal of time with me and answered all my questions . He seems to genuinely care about his patients

Never have any issue in speaking with Dr. Lufkin, always listens and has something smart to say about cancer treatments going on.

Dr Lufkin is an excellent oncologist. Cares about his patients and their quality of life. All the staff are helpful, professional and friendly. I would highly recommend the office.

I absolutely love Dr. Lufkin! He is wonderfully kind and compassionate, humble, brilliant, and is incredibly tolerant of my many questions! :) I have never felt rushed in any of my appointments with him, which is a difficult trait to find with the current state of healthcare! I’ve had an inoperable grade 2 astrocytoma for almost 20 years now & I fully trust Dr. Lufkin with my life! His Medical Assistant Jill is also very compassionate, funny & responsive! Dr Lufkin has been my DO since my original diagnosis and has been helping me manage my treatment with compassion and expert care.

Dr. Lufkin, was very up front, honest, and full of compassion.

Dr. Lufkin has been a part of my medical care for years, and I cannot imagine a better oncology clinician. Dr. Lufkin instills confidence in the care recommended and provided, presents a relatable and understandable approach to me as the patient, and portrays professionalism in dealing with the emotional struggles faced by patients at times. Dr. Lufkin is MY oncologist and hematologists, and I trust him implicitly with my care!

Absolutely I would recommend Dr. Lufkin to my family and friends! He is very knowledgeable in his field. He is kind, explains all treatment options very thoroughly. Willing to help in anyway possible. Very personable. Is always on time. I have confidence he knows what is the best treatment for me. I am so thankful for all that Dr. Lufkin has done for me and my family. Getting a cancer diagnosis alone is scary & stressful. But since having Dr. Lufkin as my oncologist, who has been so helpful in all the areas of treatments, tests, medications, insurance, costs, etc., has really helped me get through all the treatments & surgery with minimal stress and fear. Cancer is not something we want to hear we have, but having a great doctor sure has helped!

I have been a grateful patient of Dr Lufkin since 2013. He has guided me through many oncology adventures. I could not imaging being with any other doctor. He is a excellent doctor and wonderful human being.

My experience with Dr. Lufkin has been very positive, as has been my experience with Compass Oncology in general. Dr. Lufkin is an excellent communicator and has always taken time to answer all my questions without making me feel that I'm taking too much of his time. I’m new with dr lufkin but my nurse Elaine Bigler is the total bomb. So thorough with my care and needs that I’m truly thankful for her eternally. The girls in the lab are also very amazing and mark at ct is also truly the best.

I saw Dr Lufkin for my yearly check-up. It was during the pandemic, but, he and the office took great care to keep patients safe. Yes, I would recommend him to family & friends.

Dr Lufkin is a tremendous doctor. Compass Oncology provides an educational, safe environment to go through treatment for Cancer. From Dr Lufkin, throughout chemotherapy and radiation it is the compassionate care afforded all patients. I feel blessed my primary care physician recommended Dr Lufkin. He actually takes time to care about the patient.

I think the office and the doctor are way too busy, always waiting at least 30 minuets past appointment which was not horrible but when you do get to see the doctor he seemed rushed .

He takes the time to answer my questions. He genuinely cares . I think Dr. Lufkin and the staff at Compass Oncology are very special.

Dr. Lufkin has been great throughout my treatment plan for Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. He has patiently listened to all of my questions, and answered them with info and compassion. When my oncologist moved out of state I was transferred to Dr. Lufkin. I am more than grateful i was at the end of my treatment by the time I had to meet with him. After waiting 50 minutes in the waiting room, I went to the receptionist to find out what the delay was, I had never been left sitting that long by my prior doctor at Compass Oncology. His medical assistant finally took me back to the exam room and that experience was also less than desirable. Amber couldn't even sit down and ask any questions, she stood while taking my vitals and then left the room abruptly. . I had some questions for the doctor when he finally arrived and the answers I received were given in a pompous and arrogant manner. According to his bio, 'he treats patients how he would want to be treated', apparently he doesn't want to be listened to and wants a health care provider who is rude and disrespectful. I will be looking for a new cancer treatment facility and would not return to him in any circumstance.

The Dr. Lufkin and staff at Compass are the best at what they do. I definitely recommend them.

Dr. Lufkin and his assistant Amber are without reservation, the best health care providers I have ever known (and there have been many)! THANK YOU Dr. Lufkin for providing the best care possible, going "above and beyond the call of duty". Dr. Lufkin has gone far beyond our expectations (and hopes) treating my cancer, and keeping us informed on the latest research and clinical trials!

His technical merit is superb. However, when I developed lab-verified side effects from a specific Tx, he would neither acknowledge, nor provide relief for those. When I was initially diagnosed with cancer, I asked for prognosis stats. He was the perfect politician, always answering with rhetoric and unwilling to cite or acknowledge ANYTHING outside the limited sample size of his personal patient base.
