Dr. Robert Philip Luberto

The Medical assistant is incredibly rude and the front office acts like they don’t have the time of day to help you when you check out. I don’t recommend!

I have been going to Dr Luberto's office for just over 1.5 years and I highly recommend his practice. I get in to see him pretty quickly, am never in the waiting room long, and he listens to what I am saying, which is what most patients want. The staff are friendly and the office is clean. If you need a new PCP, this is your guy.

Dr. Luberto seems kind and knowledgeable and I wish him the best but he needs to clean house. Rude PA's(you Lori) and MA's are costing him a fortune. I am out.

I've been seeing Dr. Luberto for over 20 years. He is very knowledgeable and always time to explain things. Both my husband and I love being under his care!

Been my doctor for years, but lately unable to get a live person on phone, left 3 messages on different days-none returned. No doubt it's that inept front office staff. Will move on...

I have been with this Dr. for over 15 years and love the flexibility of the staff as well as Dr. Luberto taking the time, each and every time to listen to my needs and make sure I am receiving the 1 on 1 care that I need. The office staff is wonderful, they assist with any questions I have and try to fit me in when they are busy. I can understand why they have so many negative reviews now. The office staff is unprofessional and very rude. You feel like you are basically inconveniencing them by coming in. I can't believe the Dr. hasn't fired all of them by now.

I wish I could leave negative stars...the lack of empathy and just plain RUDENESS of the front staff should have been my first clue to not continue with this practice. Plan to wait at least 45 min when you have an appointment. We have three generations of family members all as established patients and the amount of mis diagnosis with ZERO follow up or empathy speaks volumes. After trying to make an appointment today with no luck while been spoken too as if I was disrupting their day by asking for help....just ridiculous!! I will be asking for all of my family records and will be DONE with this practice. You have been warned. I went here on the advice of my sister. I went there once and had my prescriptions renewed. I have to go again and renew them. I made an appointment and the front desk was so rude I went online and found a top tier provider that takes my plan. They treated me very nice and took my information for an appointment. I can see why he is not rated and should have read the reviews. The front desk has not changed. Please find an office that will treat you with respect. Staff are SO RUDE, especially Shauna!!!! Then, Dr Luberto tries to defend their rudeness, what a terrible way to treat your patients doc.

Dr Luberto has been my physician for 20 years. He is a great man, ethical, and honest! I would recommend him to anyone.

Office staff is not worth it. Great Dr. but the fact he continues to employ people that treat his paying patients so poorly makes you wonder about his competence. So many patients lost due to his office staff. Over 20 years of all 17 of us going to him down the drain. Office personnel is a dime a dozen so to employ people that treat your paying patients like trash is a disservice.

My visits to Dr Luberto have gone very well, and I trust him to be my provider. He is knowledgeable and friendly and explains thing well.

Do not go here if you suffer with anxiety. I have been coming here every six months or so for the past 3 years for anxiety. I make a 2 month supply of anxiety meds last 6 months in some cases 8 months. It’s not something I have ever abused. Well today they tell me new rules are in place and basically accuse me of abusing them and won’t prescribe me any more. Referred by my spouse. 2 stars front desk unprofessional/complaining when I arrived. ME for Dr Luberto was rude and abrasive. She was lacking in all courtesy, caring and all the professionalism an MA should have. I didn’t get to see the Dr. bc after being argued, talked over, interrupted and told the dr won’t see me for my condition without even letting me finish a sentence. She was very aggressive with questions and needs to remember she’s is dealing with sick people and you should not treat people that way. I decided that being sick is much too stressful than adding a doctors office that treats patients like that is not worth it. Read the other reviews and go here and you will see what I’m referring to. Dr Luberto has always taken good care of me. He listens to you, which is important for a doctor, patient relationship.

Absolutely love Doc Luberto. He is straight to the point and doesn’t sugar-coat things like so many of the complainers on these reviews desire. Wouldn’t you like straight forward answers to health issues and questions? He has a great personality and has always taken as much time as I need. I’ve been going to him for 8 almost 9 years now. I even had my brother change doctors and he goes to him too and is very very glad he switched. Doc Luberto’s front staff can come off a little edgy- but if you take the time to talk with them and be friendly than they are friendly back. I have never had a problem with them. Doc Luberto - I can't say enough great things about him nor his practice to really do it justice. Been seeing him on and off (and the only reason off is when my insurance changed and couldn't) for decades now - this Doc is the MAN! Especially if you are an athlete, you were an athlete, or you aspire to become one. You can't go wrong. Even other docs have told me that know of him that they are fascinated with his level of care and enthusiasm - especially in his market for this length of time. I have been a patient for over a half a decade but find it best to leave Dr. Luberto as my PCP. The medical assistants/PAs have been rude, unfriendly, and seem aggravated when I ask questions. My last visit I had about enough of dealing with this. Dr. Luberto is abrasive and needs to work on his bedside manner. He always seems rushed and never spends more than 5 or 10 minutes when I see him. My last visit I asked the medical assistant to check with Dr. Luberto on a serious medical concern of mine and she rolled her eyes and sighed. What kind of people is he hiring? I have been seeing Dr Luberto for 18 years. moved out of state for 2 years my new Dr couldn't come close to the level of care that i have received from Dr Luberto. I've seen many reviews about the office staff I've had good and bad experiences with them i guess it depends on the day, still the lack of customer care from the front desk wont stop me from seeing such a wonderful Doctor.

Seems like most the positive reviews come from folks seeing Dr. Luberto. Unfortunately I saw the PA. I don't go to the doctors very often and this visit solidified that. The PA was very condescending, almost implying I was faking or that my ailment was less than described. Either way I needed the referrals for outside testing so I stuck it out until then. I will state our family have been patients here for 15 years so we are not "disgruntled". If you enjoy dealing with a front office staff who has zero customer service skills, is dishonest about billing and points the finger at you as if you are irresponsible, you have found your new doctor. I serendipitously found Dr Luberto when I turned 65 and needed a new primary care doctor. Am I ever happy I did, as I needed someone very quickly prior to a surgery and hadn''t done much research or read many reviews. First of all Dr Luberto is extremely knowledgeable----number one in importance in my estimation. He takes an appropriate amount of time, is caring about his patients without going overboard and figures things out. My husband was so impressed that he also switched physicians and became Dr Luberto's patient. We are also impressed with Lori, the Physician's Assistant. She is so thorough and systematic in her questioning that I was compelled to ask where she received her training. She's fantastic, and like Dr Luberto, very knowledgeable. My husband and I have had no issues with scheduling, billing or wait times. While the women in the front office aren't gushy, I find them to be pleasant and accommodating as possible. Moved into Phoenix and was very fortunate to find Dr. Luberto. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to work with you regarding your health problem. Thankfully, haven't had to take too much of his time in the last 7 years but each time I have he has managed to solve the problem. I am not sure what some of the reviewers have against the office staff as they have always been courteous and helpful although I don't stand and try to engage them in chit chat! I have also seen the PA , Lori, and have been very impressed with her thoroughness and knowledge. There was one incident that showed what a true professional she is when I needed a certain drug but she thought it was not compatible with a drug I was taking. I had looked on the pharmaceutical website and found that it was although I was somewhat hesitant to bring it up. However, I went ahead and mentioned that to her and she said, well, let me look which she did and found the same info that I had. She could have easily adopted a defensive attitude and insisted she was right and refused to check it. But she did what a true professional would do and changed her mind and issued the prescription I needed. Many kudos to her and to Dr. Luberto AND the office staff. Dr. Bob is very personable, and treats all his patience respectfully. I recently moved to the other side of the valley and have made the hour drive to see him. He has been seeing me for over 15 years. I have yet to find anyone as good as him.

Dr. Luberto is my Primary Care doctor and I could not be happie. Besides being a great doctor he is a great guy! He is easy to see, punctual, easy going, direct and to the point!! I have extreme confidence in his opinions and advice! He is great!!????????

The PA Laurie is always running very late. The last 2 times i went in for a yearly wellness visit, she was over 1 hour late. They sent in a medical student both times to start my physical without even asking. I went to have a doctor do my physical, not a student. They make me feel like I don't matter. The PA April is fantastic, but she works limited hours. Also, the front desk staff are very rude and make me feel like they do not care about you. They also now make you pay for your visit before you are seen and not after it goes through your insurance company. So I did that, then I looked online at my medical insurance account and found that the insurance company paid it in full. It was 2 months later and I never received a refund from this office. I called and asked when I would get the refund and was told they would submit it and i would receive it in 1 month. Are you kidding me?? Dr. Luberto has been my primary care physician since 2006. He specializes in sports medicine (the official physician of the NHL Arizona Coyotes) and general family practice. I believe he is good at listening to and addressing your concerns as well as clarifying your needs. He's typically available within a day or two for an office visit and accepts several insurance plans (no AHCCCS). He is one of very few physicians I truly trust! Absolutely a fabulous doctor! Runs his practice under a MEDICAL model rather than a BUSINESS model! The patient as an individual is the most important aspect of his business. He listens to his patients and communicates WITH you rather than talking AT you! He is the closest thing you will find to the old doctor that knows your parents, saw you as a kid, and now looks after your youngsters! He can usually see you in a day or two. I can't convey how impressed I am w/my care!

Arrived at 2:20 PM for 2:30 appointment. At 2:45 office staff finally took my co-pay. At 2:50 put in an exam room and Dr. Luberto in a few minutes later and out in under 5 minutes. Then waited 15 minutes to get my shot- after I went into the hallway to look for someone. This is a typical office visit at Dr. Luberto's

Do Not go see this doctor unless you have alot of time and no life, I went there twice and both times I waited over 45 minutes to be seen with out hardly any other patients in the office, Both times while I was there his staff let two or three diffrent drug reps go back and talk to him. I could here a 15 min conversation right outside my exam room. Most doctors have the drug reps make appointments and put their patients first.
