In 2011 I was in a 5 car pile up which left me with excruciating back pain. I was taking Vicodin 750's 5 times a day when Dr. Lanter offered acupuncture as a treatment. I got off the Vicodin and after 2 weeks of acupuncture my back pain was gone! I haven't seen Dr. Lanter in a long time as I have been pretty pain free - but couldn't pass up the opportunity to share my experience...Highly recommend!!! The doc is funny and serious about his work. I highly recommend this doctor for your pain situations. He’s fabulous.

Friendly staff and and Robert is an expert acupuncturists. He's knowledgeable about energy and cleared up blockages which were causing headaches on my 1st visit. I highly recommend Robert Lanter.

Definately would reccomend.I am a new patient and once I arrive for my visit my paperwork was already done as they email you the paperwork beforehand and I was in and out in a more than acceptable amount of time , for a new patient. Very knowledgeable

Dr. Lanter has been my pain management physician for over ten years now. He is professional, compassionate, caring, gentle, and kind. Dr. Lanter cares about his patients. That comes through clearly. He also does not practice only traditional western medicine. He is open to alternative treatments, and is very knowledgeable regarding same.

Everything about this experience was top notch. Did not take long to get an appointment. Important paperwork was sent to me so it could be filled out at home. Short wait to see the doctor. Updated 03/29/22. Doc is still the best. It's now 20+ years now, avoiding surgery. Great at dignosing. Through the years have gone through rounds of PT, trigger shots and accupuncture. Combined with chiropractic decompressive therapies elsewhere, so far so good. He's multi-talented too in that after three knee surgeries before I starting treating with him, we've a ouded replacement. Moreover he'll treat you like a friend who really cares, but of course always knowing where that professional line is. In fact he recently read me the "riot act" to get into better shape. Finally, while there used to be a wait, lately it's been much better yet he still gives everyone the time they need in the exam room and will not make you feel rushed. Updated 03/29/22. Dr.Lanter has been treating both my wife and myself for terrible back and leg pain. He hits all the key spots to make us feel better, but he is also a great listener; very rare these days among all disciplines.

I would recommend Robert Lanter and his office staff. They are professional, and he is extremely knowledgeable in his field of pain management.

Wonderful experience. Dr. Lanter is right on the mark with his evaluation and treatment. Takes his time with patients and explains everything.

Dr Lanter Always takes the time to listen and answer all of my questions & I never feel like I am being rushed out of the office.

I find this doctor easy to talk to. I explained to him the issues I was having and he was quick to discuss what he felt he could offer and how he could assist

I've only been to Dr. Lanter once but so far his staff is awesome and he is a caring, understanding, compassionate and knowledgeable. I look forward to my next visit tomorrow.

Dr. Lanter is amazing and caring doctor. I had a car accident in July with multiple injuries. He has helped me tremendously. My knee was so bad i thought it would never get better until Dr. Lanter gave me the PRP Injection and a few months later my knee is so much better! Dr. Lanter takes time to listen to his patients. I was suffering from several muscles that were so locked up, it caused a lump on my lower back. I went to 3 doctors that didn't know how to treat the problem. Dr. Lanter was able to figure out what to do and he helped me. Excellent staff too.

Dr. Lanter rocks! He’s truly personable and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable from my first visit. Since then I have visited about four times and the vibe is always upbeat and positive. He introduced techniques I could use to manage my back pain that didn’t include prescription meds. I really like that.

My wait time was short. Great bedside manners. Dr Lanter listened attentively to my complaint about the pain I was feeling, examined me, explained why he thought I was feeling the type of pain mentioned in medical and layman’s terms, then discussed his recommended treatment approach. I was very happy with this visit.

I totally recommend Dr Lanter. He really knows what he is doing but is not smug about it. He actually listens, as well as, takes his time explaining what his corse of treatment will be. Dr Lanter is very personable & knowledgeable & makes you feel comfortable. I had gone to his office in E Rockaway when my son was baby & he diagnosed me right away & came up with a physical therapy plan which worked. I am very happy that my current primary care physician referred me to Dr Lanter.

Dr. Lanter has been my Orthopaedic for many years. He is like his office practice’s name, Kind. I have many issues with muscles and bones. He treats the problems very professionally. If he can’t fix the trouble, he refers me to someone he knows will fix the issue. I would not want to have to find someone else. He is the BEST!!!!!!!!!
