I had closed rhinoplasty surgery 6 months ago and I couldn't be happier!! Dr Kottler was wonderful and caring as well as his staff. There are no words to describe the sincerity of Dr. Kottler. I had no pain after and was amazed at the results. I am from Pittsburgh, PA and traveled to Beverly Hills after many consults and research with other doctors. I chose the best!! I underwent primary rhinoplasty with Dr Kotler at the start of February and I couldn’t be happier. The staff, Mary and Dr Kotler were so friendly and helpful, answered any questions I had, Dr Kotler himself spent more than an hour with me during the consult being really thorough (in comparison to another well known surgeon in BH who spent probably 15 min with me). Dr. Kotler is a magician who helped restore my confidence thanks to his permanent non surgical nose filler. I traveled to BH from Minnesota for four sessions to camouflage the dorsal hump that I had been so insecure about since I was a teenager (I’m 38 now!) The results were subtle and built up over time, and my profile is much smoother now and more symmetrical. It was extremely easy, and you can go about your normal day right after, I even had a stranger approach me when I left his office and tell me I looked pretty! I had broken my nose a long time prior and because it was never set, had a boney spot on the side of the bridge of my nose. I did not want to necessarily have surgery or completely change the look of my nose. Dr. Kotler did micro silicone injections. I have to say that he did a wonderful job. I had a basal cell removed from my nose and didn’t need a nose surgery. Dr. Kotler is the only doctor who was able to fill it permanently without having to have surgery . He’s a genius

Dr. Kotler and his staff are the absolute best in the business. Most of my family had been to Dr. Kotler for rhinoplasty and I was the "last" one to bite the bullet, and arguably the more "complex" case in our family (needing both septoplasty + cosmetic). I had heard about how fantastic he is for years and finally booked a consultation in spring 2021. My first conversation was done over FaceTime as I live in NYC, and he immediately put me at ease. Many doctors will rush through a visit, but Dr. Kotler is the opposite. You will be able to ask as many questions as you need to and he will give you his honest opinion every time. I was able to book an in-person consultation in LA on a trip home and then arranged my surgery date for June. Mary provided very clear instructions and ensured I was set with everything in advance. On the day of the surgery, there is absolutely nothing to be worried about as you'll be given the five star treatment from start to finish! Dr. Kotler checked in with me in the days following my surgery, and needless to say, the results are amazing! I was worried about the recovery, but honestly, did not feel any pain whatsoever... I was back to normal activities shortly thereafter and able to fly back to NYC roughly 10 days later. He is a true "artist" and your nose will turn out better than you expect. Outstanding! Exceeded expectations! I was VERY hesitant about my 18 year old wanting a nose job. Dr. Kotler delivered exactly what my child wanted -- a subtle refinement that looks natural. His bedside manner is amazing, caring and exceedingly patient. He is an experienced and highly skilled surgeon. He was there for us providing information and support every step of the way -- during the lengthy consultation, surgical procedure, recovery and after care. I was anxious about the recovery and it was a breeze. He developed post-op airway tubing that makes the healing process clean and easy. There was so little swelling and I was surprised how good my child looked just one day later with a small bandage on the nose. There was no pain either and no post-operative pain medication was needed, aside from I think Tylenol. We couldn't be happier. He is also the warmest, friendliest man. My experience with Dr. Kotler was better than I could have truly every imagined. He sat and listened to me and then spent so much time explaining his thoughts and procedure. Ive been at a consultation with 3 other Dr's and they only spent about 15/20 min with me rather about an hour with Dr. Kotler. He makes it seem like its going to be easy and painless and let me tell you, it really was. I healed so quickly and did not feel any pain. I got a surgery, and a second surgery as well from Dr Kotler about a decade ago. I've always been very unhappy with his work. My nose was big, and crooked. My nose is still big, and crooked. I always gave the benefit of the doubt, and said maybe my nose/skin was just a nightmare. I am now seeking a new surgeon to fix this. I am not surgery crazed, at all. I have been rejected by two doctors so far because they told me the skin and the shape of the nose has formed so poorly. I think Dr Kotler is a great guy, and I'm sure he's seeing this, going to respond, and I hate to leave negative comments, but I don't wish anybody to go through two surgeries, only to be unsatisfied and be told that the nose is no longer able to be operated on. The fact of the matter is my nose looks terrible, I hear it from people all the time, and two surgeons have now also confirmed it for me(not like I needed the verification) even after looking at his before and afters online, I see similar issues(not as dramatic) on his clients. The nose's still leave the face far too much, and the tip of the nose is not shaped well at all. I'm sure he's done a lot of great jobs, but I had to leave my experience after I am told that I am now left in a place to no longer fix the surgery. If you are interested in doing ANYTHING to your nose DEFINITELY go see Dr Kotler for a Consult. I didn't hate my nose but I was considering a rhinoplasty since I had some unevenness on the bridge. I had several consults to see my options and Dr Kotler was the only one that said I didn't need a rhinoplasty and offered a more conservative treatment that would give me the results I desired. I can't tell you how much I appreciated his ethics and honesty not trying to sell me on something I didn't need. I was able to have permanent (not temporary like other offices offer) nose filler to fix the unevenness. Not only was this way less expensive than a rhinoplasty but it was painless and with no bruising or downtime! He is so gentle and took so much time during each visit to listen to my concerns. I am beyond happy with the results!! I can see why he is the most experienced practitioner of permanent non-surgical revision rhinoplasty in the United States. If you don't live in LA he is definitely worth traveling to see. To top it off he is literally the kindest doctor I have ever met. Seeking treatment from Dr. Kotler is one of the BEST decisions I ever made. When proper research meets an incredible surgeon, with a dash of divine timing, you are blessed with beautiful results! I began researching revision procedures after recovering from an unsatisfactory rhinoplasty performed by a different doctor in 2015. I was so unhappy with the result of my previous surgery. My nose was too thin, too pointy, too tilted. I quickly set up an appointment to meet Dr. Kotler after seeing many online articles showcasing his advancements in the use of silicon as a permanent filler. It was incredible to witness! After my first initial injection, which took only about 5-10 minutes, my nose immediately took on a more soft, natural shape. Dr. Kotler listened to my wants and concerns and mapped out a procedural plan that included two more sets of injections (this is to insure that the nose will adapt to the filler as it settles comfortably). I just wanna thank Dr Kotler for my new nose. I went to 5 doctors before him that only wanted to take my money. Kotler is very understanding and detailed about the procedure and made me feel very comfortable to discussing my concerns till the end. Mary is the sweetest and very helpful when it came to paperwork and explaining the process. Many surgeons get in that field because of the money, but Kotler has a purpose of why he does what he does. I truly cannot give this man and his incredible team enough stars or enough commendations. I had my cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty with Dr. Kotler 10 days ago, and it was the best decision I have ever made. I had spent years of my life considering this procedure, too anxious to do it. When I came across Dr. Kotler's website, and the bounty of educational information on there, I for the first time ever didn't feel nervous about this procedure. From there I made my consult, and I never looked back! My consultation was great- his imaging software is a game changer and gives you a great idea of what your nose will look like post op, and is a great way to work with the doctor to ensure your needs are met. His staff were extremely helpful in every aspect of the consult, booking, billing, etc. I am an anxious patient, and going into surgery day, I felt great as I had no unanswered questions or concerns. The months and days leading up to the surgery, I would call the office whenever I had a question and it was promptly answered by either his receptionists, nurse Mary, and even Dr. Kotler himself outside of normal business hours. Himself and his team make EVERY effort to meet your needs, and make you feel at ease and confident going into surgery. Come surgery day, I had the best experience at the surgical center where he operates out of. The same quality care and attention was provided in this step of the process as well, with the surgery center and their staff. My recovery went well. Dr. Kotler called in his free time and attended to every question I texted with. My recovery was not surprising- Dr. Kotler and his team did an incredible job preparing me on post op care, and telling me what to expect. Their transparency helped to ease my nerves even more so. Currently, I am 10 days out from my surgery and feeling great! I am back to all my normal activities, and my bruising is extremely minimal. Let me tell you, Dr Kotler is a genius and a true artist! I went in for a consult expecting that I would have to go under the knife again for my noes, but no! Permanent fillers were an option for me. I have no words to describe Dr. Kotler's craftsmanship, but his heart as well. I had my procedure in 2009. I went to several doctors, and Dr. Kotler stood up by far as the best choice, he was also the only dr who offered before and after pictures. This was my second and complex nose surgery including medical reasons with deviated septum and repair to a broken nose. 11 years later The job is still fantastic. Last year I had a major sinus issue and rare throat infection. I went to 3 ENTs, but only Dr. Kotler did a proper swab, discovered bacteria, prescribed the right med, and after several months of suffering, I finally was able to defeat the bacteria. He also referred me to a great regular ENT who handles my case going forward. Dr. Kotler didn't just change my life, he saved it. He is the best and warmest-hearted most caring doctor I have ever met.

Hands down the BEST doctor ever! I have spent the last 5 years coming to Dr. Kotler about once or twice a year for my non-surgical nose job fillers fixing a botched rhinoplasty from a different surgeon. I drive from Sacramento (about 6 hours away) every time I make an appointment because he is that good! He really cares about what you want the outcome to be and is the sweetest and so patient while listening to you explain what you want. He never makes you feel rushed and genuinely wants you to feel and look your best and you leave feeling so happy with even better results then you could have imagined. You definatly need to be patient with your results depending on the severity of your nose, because they do take time to build up, to work the way they are supposed to. Mine took a while because my nose was really damaged and deformed, but it was 1000% worth the time and money spent, and my results are better then I had hoped! He is definitely an expert with the silikon injections and makes you feel so comfortable and confident in him and his knowledge of noses and how to make it perfect for your face. I am so thankful I found Dr. Kotler he changed my life forever. I just finished my 3rd visit for Non-surgical rhinoplasty and I am over the moon HAPPY with my results from Dr. Kotler! I HIGHLY recommend him! I spend 27 years with a very noticeably crooked nose after a botched nose job by an inexperienced doctor when I was 16. I had NO idea this even existed until I stumbled upon RealSelf and found Dr. Kotler's reviews. Due to his outstanding reviews and extremely happy patients, I scheduled an appointment immediately. But, also note, I did extensive research to find a surgeon in my area that did what he does and there IS NONE! He is a MASTER of his craft!!!! He's been doing these since the 70's so he is HIGHLY EXPERIENCED. Dr. Kotler is the most genuine Doctor I've ever met. His goal is his patient's satisfaction. He will work until you're happy! He is reasonable. And the non-surgical injections are the most AMAZING thing ever! :) First, I want to say how wonderful, kind and caring Dr. Kotler, Mary and his whole staff are! From my very first consultation to all my check-ups, they have always been consistently amazing. Dr. Kotler Is the best rhinoplasty doctor in the world. I would know because I have had numerous consultations with the top rhinoplasty revision doctors and he, by far, has more knowledge and experience than any of them. When I had my consultation with him I knew right away, with no hesitation, that he was the doctor that could fix my nose. I had a primary rhinoplasty with a different doctor years ago and have had two accidents that broke my nose and left me with a deviated septum. My nose was a mess; I knew It would be a challenge to repair. During my consultation with Dr. Kotler, he addressed all my concerns, answered any questions I had, and was so patient with me through the whole process. He took the time to explain the healing process to me and let me know that it might take a while for my swelling to go down but my nose would continue to look better and better as time went by. I unfortunately take longer than the average person to heal, so I was swollen for a very long time, which is why I have waited a year to write this review, so I could show accurate before-and-after photos now that the majority of the swelling has gone down. At all of my check-up appointments with Dr. Kotler, he assured me that the swelling would go down and my nose would look more refined as the months went by. It took a very long time for the swelling to decrease, but I had complete trust in him and waited patiently and confidently, knowing that he is an expert in his field. It was definitely worth the wait! He did a beautiful job fixing my nose, I can breathe perfectly, and I love the way it looks. He exceeded all my expectations and I am so pleased with the outcome. Wow! What a great experience! I’m totally satisfied with the results. I’ve got my nose done a years ago by another surgeon, everything went well but since that moment I didn’t like my nostrils that had different shape. I tried some fillers with cosmetologists to improve it before but it lasts for like a year or so and it’s still kind of too liquid and light substance to make a good, right and permanent shape (don’t forget it’s nostrils that we always touch and wash/move). I was lucky enough to find Dr. Kotler who has decades of experience as a high class surgeon in Beverly. Super nice and friendly, even with my bad English he understood everything I needed and we laughed a lot. After two very unsuccessful rhinoplasties, a crooked/uneven nose that I couldn’t breathe out of, and countless second opinions from surgeons who refused to operate for a third time.... Dr. Kotler turned my nightmare of an experience and went beyond my expectations to give me an even, natural looking nose that I can comfortably breathe out of. Excellent transforming

I had a peel in 1996 and it was the best thing I have ever done. It is now 2017 and I look as beautiful as the first time I look in the mirror back in 1996. Thank you Dr Kotler for everything.

One of my biggest regrets is prematurely getting a nose job at 19. I had a very slight bump that I wanted removed. Despite seeing one of the top surgeons in Manhattan, my natural tip (which I had previously loved), was decimated. Over time, it just got worse. Too much cartilage was removed, so my nostrils became increasingly retracted. In short, it became obvious I had gotten a nose job. I had a hard time going through elective surgery the first time (a lot of swelling, bruising, pain, and more down time than I had anticipated), so as much as I wanted my nose fixed, I dreaded the idea of a second rhinoplasty. A friend mentioned Dr. Kotler and said I should book a consult with him for "nonsurgical rhinoplasty." Despite never having heard of this option before (which actually made sense. Even in Beverly Hills, the land of infamous surgeons, he's the only one who does it!), I booked a consult immediately. I was sold immediately on Dr. Kotler's personality (he's incredibly warm and personable, as his right-hand woman, Mary. I felt like he truly cared about me and wanted to help me get the best result; I wasn't just a "bottom line," and he wasn't just in this just to "make a buck"). During our first appointment, he performed the saline demo on me (which simulates the result of what the nonsurgical rhinoplasty would look like). I was sold immediately. My nose looked like the nose I was born with (which I missed and desperately wanted back). I went through with the "procedure," which is entirely outpatient. It consists of several visits, once every six weeks until the desired look is achieved, where permanent silicone is injected into your nose. It may sound scary. It isn't. Your nose is numbed with cream 30 minutes prior to reduce the discomfort. Even with the cream, having a needle stuck into your nose is uncomfortable, but the whole process is SO short (stress balls also helped), that you hardly remember as soon as it's done. (Nevermind, the discomfort here is NOTHING compared to that of a surgical rhinoplasty). After completing the procedure, my botched initial nose job is now fixed! The results look completely natural. Now, if I mention to anyone that I've had anything done to my nose, they're shocked. The literal response I most frequently get is, "WHAT? I never would have guessed. Not in a million years. NEVER." I know some people have expressed concerns with using injectable silicon. I've never had any negative experience with this process. No allergic or adverse reactions whatsoever. My only regret is that I hadn't met Dr. Kotler when I was nineteen. I NEVER would have had a surgical rhinoplasty if I had. I wish more people knew this was an option. I feel like many people who think they may need, or want, a surgical rhinoplasty could have their desires met with Dr. Kotler's unique, nonsurgical technique. He's that rare surgeon who is both lovely and incredibly skilled. I would recommend any of my friends or family to him in a heartbeat. Since he did such a good job, some of my other family members have went to him over the years and loved their results too. What a great experience and wonderful result with Dr. Kotler and his caring and attentive team! I had both functional (septoplasty and turbinate reduction) and cosmetic rhinoplasty performed by Dr. Kotler before Thanksgiving of last year. Dr. Kotler and his staff made me feel welcome and cared for from the 1st consultation and pre-op visit to the now 3rd visit after 3.5 months of surgery. I'm very happy to report that my breathing problems (and even right ear clogging from a childhood medical issue) have been fully corrected. I'm now breathing so well, I never get congested anymore and I also haven't had a cold or the flu during this winter season. My decision to have the nose surgery has also helped me feel more satisfied with the appearance of my nose. I feel more feminine, delicate and beautiful... and my fiancé absolutely adores my new nose. Due to the amazing nasal tubes (invented by Dr. Kotler himself) I was able to breathe during the initial 5 days of recovery and even better thereafter. While my father, who also had this procedure, reported that he was congested and unable to breathe for a FULL MONTH post surgery. My recovery was uncomfortable for only 2-3 days post-surgery, but I chose not to take pain medication at all. I had no bruising and other than a major headache and tension in my face, my first few days were quite normal. I even went out to watch a movie on the 3rd day post-surgery. All in all, an absolutely wonderful experience and my nose feels and looks great and getting better every month ;-). There aren't enough words of gratitude to express towards Dr. Kotler, so I decided to write him "An Appreciation poem" that goes like this: Born with gifts from the Divine Noses, faces to refine His name: Dr. Kotler. I had multiple sessions of liquid rhinoplasty. Dr. Kotler is hands down my very favorite plastic surgeon that I have ever met. I only chose to use his services primarily based upon other online reviews. From my very first appointment to the final session he has gained my recommendation to others. I wanted to write a review to make it known to others searching that, yes, he is the best. His work ethic is superb. His actual work is flawless. He is warm, welcoming, kind, and extremely talented. There were times I had to bring my children to my appointments and he exhibited the kindness and compassion you would see in a grandfather of your own child. My experience with Dr. Kotler & his staff could not have been any better. I have been fully satisfied and tremendously impressed from my initial Skype consultation through post-op. A California native, who is temporarily living out of the state, I was able to schedule my Rhinoplasty when home over the holiday without any problem. The staff was more than flexible despite the season. My initial connection with Dr. Kotler’s office was with his patient consultant, Dolla, who was very hospitable and informative throughout the entire process. Dolla assisted me in setting up all necessary consultations (I utilized the Skype consultation and also had an office consultation before the surgery) as well as my surgery date. Dolla was always available to answer any questions and continued to be diligent at keeping me educated about timing and the process throughout. I had done my research on several facial plastic surgeons, and had both phone and office consultations with several – but none of them made me feel as comfortable as Dr. Kotler. After my initial Skype conversation with Dr. Kotler I was impressed with his character and knowledge base and the office visit only made me feel more confidant in my feelings about him. After meeting Dr. Kotler face-to-face, I knew that I did not want anyone else operating on my face. And he was the last office consultation on my list of other Physicians I was considering. Before my surgery, Mary, Dr. Kotler’s nurse, took care of all of my Pre-Operative needs. Like the rest of the staff, she was always available, more than willing to answer my questions via email and was continually responsive. Mary was even willing to come in on the day of Christmas Eve, when nobody else was in the office, to pull my packing so my husband and I could get to our family event. Such an above and beyond favor. The surgical center was beautifully neat & clean, the staff was amazing and the whole process was quiet unbelievably easy. Being my first surgery I was unsure what to expect – but could not have been more pleased! The whole surgical staff was marvelous as well. The anesthesiologist called me pre-operatively to discuss my procedure and make sure I was not nervous, as well as someone from the surgical site as well. I am two weeks out post operatively; I did not have any bruising, just some minor swelling. My nose looks fabulous (so far – it is still healing) and I would tell EVERYONE I know who is considering a similar procedure to do it at this office. I am 32 years old and I grew up in Los Angeles but for the past three years I have been living in Israel. I had primary rhinoplasty when I was about 21 and through the years, my nose changed dramatically. The tip started to fall down as I smiled, the nose became visibly crooked and I was over all unhappy with the results after some time. I came across Dr. Kotler through a friend of mine whose friend went to him for rhinoplasty. I researched him online through many sources and when I came to LA to visit my family I went in for a consultation. Right away I knew he was the one to do my revision. I read so much about him and saw all of his online photos and read his bio which is full of credentials and knew I was in the best hands. Dr. Kotler’s demeanor wins you over instantly. He is extremely friendly and will take all the time that you need to explain anything to you and address all your concerns. He wants you to be comfortable. His computer imaging is amazing because it allows you to see where his vision is and then you work on it together to come to a common ground. He is honest. He tells you which images are realistic and which are not. He only shows you what he can do. Dr. Kotler really is a superspecialist and that is what you need when you do a revision rhinoplasty. I did septoplasty as well because my first doctor, who was one of the top doctors when I did my first surgery, did not take care of. I can now breathe so much better and not through my mouth alone. Dr. Kotler knows his work. He is amazing. My nose came out fantastic and it is only three weeks after.
