Dr. Robert Ross Houston

I went to his office because I am having chest pains. I was referred after an ekg showed I had a first degree heart block. I know a lot of people can have one and its not something to be concerned about. He than said my symptoms didn't seem related to my heart. He ordered an echo which showed a small defect which he had his secretary call and tell me. She couldn't answer any of my questions. Now he feels he doesn't have to see me again. HE DIDN'T fix my issue at all. I miss a time where doctors actually care about you. will not be going back I do not recommend. Not only was it hard to get an appointment last time, he brushed me off without even having the test results back and could give no reasoning why I was having the issues I was having and did not care. My advice is to go somewhere else.

He was not helpful, did not show compassion, and I still don't know what is wrong with me and am going somewhere else.

Dr Houston has taken excellent care of my heart since 1981.-He has guided me through open heart bypass and valve replacement surgeries.He is to this day a student of cardiology and is the best in his field.Always explains decisions in laymen’s language.Kind,compassionate personality.Simply the best

When you go to a specialist you expect the quality of care that they are recognized for... wow !! Would NEVER GO BACK!! Does not care about explaining and/ informing.. he needs to retire!!
