I was born with a cleft lip. I have had countless surgeries. As an adult, Dr. Houser performed my second rhinoplasty and began doing filler in my cleft scar. I’m so sorry I used Dr Houser for my eyes and facelift. He was very nice during the initial visit but things went down hill after the surgery. I paid good money for a neck lift that dropped after only one week. His comment to me was, “Well, it won’t get any worse.” But it did get worse. He did not reinforce the neck muscle to keep it from dropping. He said sometimes he does that and sometimes not. And my jowls also dropped within two-three months after surgery. Seven months later and I look like someone who would now be going in for a facelift, not someone who just had one. And the huge hematoma on my neck that was there immediately after surgery was so painful. He was very rude and I have a friend who witnessed it. He did reimburse me $1,300 after I told him that he failed to deliver on my $10,000 purchase. He should have refunded much more but I didn’t want to go to court. I WOULD NOT SEND SOMEONE TO DR HOUSER TO HAVE A HANGNAIL REMOVED. I’m entitled to my opinion and in my opinion he has a big ego, overstates what he will do to improve an appearance but doesn’t deliver, and gets mad if you question his work. After consulting with 4 more surgeons recently to correct and hopefully get desired results this time I've seen the difference between surgeons that really care about you and their craft and those that will just take your money. Great friendly staff however if you have a darker complexion do not go for laser hair removal. The technician is very nice and friendly but not very knowledgeable about the equipment and skin. My area wasn't wiped down and the numbing cream wasn't removed. The table wasnt very clean either. She told me the laser was able to be programmed for darker skin however it started burning pretty bad a few moments in and she said that she thought the setting was correct because she smelled hair burning BUT it was my skin burning. Within 2 hours I was in terrible pain and I have 2nd degree burns all over my bikini line. This obviously isnt a good laser for people with dark skin.
