Saw Dr. Hotchkiss past autumn 2021. Appt was made in 1 week. He was on time, staff friendly, personable. Dr. Reviewed x-rays, took his time explaining situation and possible tx. Including nothing. Impressed me as extremely knowledgeable and competent. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous doctor, not only great bedside manner but an extraordinary surgeon. Had hand surgery 6 weeks ago, and phenomenal results. I recommend him highly.

He saved my arm twenty years ago. When no one else could help me, he was my Superman. Thank Dr. Hotchkiss.

Competent Knowledgeable

Dr. Hotchkiss took me on as a patient with a shattered incapacitated elbow from a fall on the ice. Xrays, prep, and within days under meticulous surgery ending with so much hardware to knit bone together that some of it had to be removed and the sutures replaced after six months, but the bone had healed. The bottom line is that it was a difficult job and six years later it's better than ever.

Would that all surgeons of his level were like Dr. Hotchkiss. A surgeon who walks into the examination room with a smile. A surgeon who doesn't push for surgery because "sometimes waiting can be the best thing for the patient." I went to HSS to get a second opinion/confirmation on what I thought was a "must have surgery." Talk about one of the luckiest decisions of my life. Though I may eventually need the surgery he has given me invaluable time till then. Add to that a warm, friendly and amazingly efficient staff. Again, feeling incredibly fortunate to have found Dr. Hotchkiss.

Dr. Hotchkiss and his team are the best. I've had to see him for a number of issues over the years to include sports injuries, a serious fall, arthritic inflammation, and most recently for a new condition of excruciatingly painful pseudo gout. Dr. Hotchkiss has always been very responsive with thoughtfulness and genuine concern in his recommendations, and right on with his prescribed courses of treatment. I've had to see him for a number of issues over the years to include sports injuries, a serious fall, arthritic inflammation, and most recently for a new condition of excruciatingly painful pseudo gout. Dr. Hotchkiss has always been very responsive with thoughtfulness and genuine concern in his recommendations, and right on with his prescribed courses of treatment.
