Dr. Robert Barker Hoffman

Recently had a patient come to us for a routine check up: dr Hoffman placed braces on upper teeth. Patient had a routine cleaning for a couple years . Upon evaluation- he had moderate periodontal disease- X-rays revealing moderate subgingival caculus… I’m sorry…who puts braces on someone who has periodontal disease?? Hello?

We love Dr. Hoffman, well as much as you can love having to take your kids to an orthodontist! Dr. Hoffman is now working on our third daughter (we have 4, all will apparently need braces, YEAH!). Dr Hoffman and his staff have done a great job with the two oldest, their teeth look perfect, and we expect the same with our third (she just started a few months ago). His staff is personal, professional, and timely. The facility is comfortable and there is no real waiting in the lobby because they are timely. Dr. Hoffman is a terrific orthodontist. Not only is he kind and professional, he is ethical and errs on the conservative side for treatment which I really appreciate. His treatments are very effective for creating a healthy mouth and “bite” for the future but he is also talented on the aesthetic side and in the end you get a beautiful and natural looking smile. We are so happy with the experience all the way through to the end product. Dr. Hoffman is the best!! Love, love, love this office!! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and thoroughly explains every step of the process. Everyone in the office makes it a point to know the patients' name. The office has a "family feel" to it that I appreciate. I highly recommend this orthodontist without any hesitation. My experience at Hoffman Orthodontics was great! My teeth turned out beautifully, and I was so happy with the results. Every visit was a positive one. I was always given helpfully tips that could make my braces experience easier. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming.
