Dr. Robert S Hix

Dr Hix is an amazing doctor and has a great bedside manner. I tried for 12 years to get pregnant and with his advice and with the help of medication , I have 3 beautiful babies. I will and have recommend Dr Hix to everyone.

Dr. Hix has a friendly bedside manner. He is very respectful and kind. During appointments and before my C section, he explained everything very clearly. I had an overall excellent experience.

Dr. Hix is the best! Great doctor with up-to-date information and research. Great bedside manner and really cares about his patients. He makes recommendations and suggestions based on my preferences. Couldn’t ask for a better doctor!!

He always makes me feel comfortable and happily answers my many questions without rushing through appointments. Both of my pregnancies have been higher risk due to gestational hypertension and Dr. Hix has always been very kind and thorough in his plan for care, which is extremely important to me. His knowledge and attention to detail makes me feel confident that I’m getting the best care possible. Before my planned c-section, he took time to pray with my husband and I which meant the world to me as a fellow believer and helped calm my nerves. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a kind and knowledgeable OBGYN!

Dr. Hix saved my life. He listened to me not only as a patient but as a person. I was turned away from North Ark hospital with a prescription for pain med, I went straight from that ER to Washington Regional ER.. where I underwent emergency surgery for to internal bleeding. Dr. His removed 450 cc of blood from my abdomen. He presented himself well, articulated medical condition and procedure extremely accurate and easy to follow. From the time that I met Dr. Hix I felt like I was in good hands! I highly recommend him.

Dr. Hix was the first gynecologist I saw when I was 18. He made me feel comfortable and his office staff is very attentive. I didn't feel shy asking him questions about my periods, sex, or contraception. I decided to get an IUD and he never hesitated and made sure I knew the procedure well. My only complaint is that when you call his nurse and leave a message, they are slow to get back to you.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hix for 15 years now. He has been with me through mysterious breast lumps, an HPV diagnosis, battling infertility, and two missed miscarriages. He has a great bedside manner & treats you like a real person, not just a chart. He has always made me feel completely comfortable, answered all of my questions, and taken my concerns into consideration when making treatment recommendations. I would (and have) trust this man with my very life. He is an amazing doctor.
