It has been over 10 years since my first lamenectomy. I will never be the same again. First thing that happened as I was recovering at home I felt good for a few days but soon was going through the worst pain of my life. Headache did not describe the tremendous pain I was going through. I was rushed to the hospital to find I had 3 tears in my Dura. Those were patched and once again was sent home to recover. Again I was feeling ok for a while until I started having what felt like muscle spasms in the middle of the night. I would wake up sceaming. If I accidentally bumped into something I would scream in pain. At first they told me it would take a while to recover, but as time went on I got worse they finally decided to do a biopsy and found I had gotten a staff infection in my disc. After that I was told by Hash I was just unlucky. He also told me they would have to go through my stomach to Put the plates in my back and I could be impedent after that. It was at that pont I decided then I had had enough of Dr. Hash so I left Sportsmed and went to Dr. Parker at TOC. He told me he wouldn't do that that he would go through my back. The operation went well, however I was put on antibiotoc injections through a pick line in my arm. I would do this myself for what seemed like months and nurses would come by occasionally to replace the pick. Afterwords I continued to have pain in my back and after MRI after MRI I was told by a Neurosurgeon in Birmingham that I had developed Arachnoiditis. Which is a constant inflamation of the 8 nerves coming out of the spine. Today I have a pain pump and no qulity of life. It has been over 10 years since my first lamenectomy. Dr Hash did two back surgeries for me. He is a great Dr. Would not let anyone else do a back surgery on me. He is a kind and caring doctor and a wonderful person.

A friend of mine was shot 6 time's in the head with a 22 caliber pistol at fairly close range by a rober and laid in a coma for 41 day's. But Dr Hash saved his life along with Jesus Christ? My good friend still lives to this very day. He learned how to walk, talk, and speak all over again yet today he's a very hard working man! Yes I highly recommend Dr Robert Hash he's an excellent doctor and medical professional of outstanding performance and expertise because it's been many years now since my friend was shot thank God for this Doctor!
