Just had an interaction with this egomaniac at the new Atrium West hospital in Indian Trail. Finding out I have a serious heart problem it's probably the worst day of a man's life. Without going into too much detail he came in and tried to explain something to me, when I asked questions he revealed himself to be a creep, when I tried to show him a picture of the human heart so he could point out what he was talking about he put his hand on me and pushed me in my hospital room almost knocked me off my feet. Dr haber was wonderful before and then after my procedure he made me feel comfortable every step of the way I would recommend him to anyone! Very skilled.

Dr. Haber saves my husband’s life, literally. My husband had a widow maker heart attack and because of Dr. Haber’s knowledge and quick thinking he was able to double stent my husband. Dr. Haber had to act so quickly there wasn’t time to numb my husband. Dr. Haber was able to stent my father’s heart and save his life when a surgeon at Frye Regional in Hickory failed miserably. He was incredibly knowledgeable, empathetic and his CV is highly impressive.

I had an appointment this morning with Dr. Haber that was a referral from my OB doctor concerning rapid heart rate that I have been experiencing recently. I am 36 weeks pregnant, which I noted to the nurse that ran the EKG on me before seeing Dr. Haber. When he came in, he asked, "What can I do for you?". He hadn't even read my charts or anything. I didn't really know what to say, so I just simply said in a joking way, "I was hoping you could tell me what's wrong with my heart", to which he replied, "What about it?". I said, "Well, I have been experiencing a fast heart rate and my OB referred me to you to have it checked out." Then he says, "Well don't you think it's because you're pregnant?". Well hell, I'm not the one with a doctor's degree. I told him I was just doing what my OB told me to do, which was to come in and get checked out, especially considering my heart rate can affect my unborn child. I have never been spoken to like this before by any kind of doctor. He acted like I woke up this morning, decided to miss work, & drive an hour and a half in morning rush hour just for the hell of it. I feel like the whole trip was a waste of my time, energy & money. I expected better from a doctor in the CMC network! Dr. Haber was very rude. He didn't even bother to read my charts before bursting in and asking "What can I do for you?". When I told him that my OB referred me for rapid heart rate, he asked "Well don't you think it's because you're pregnant?". I told him I was only doing what my OB told me to do! He acted like I drove an hour and a half in morning rush hour to see him for the fun of it. I will never return to this specific doctor nor recommend him to any of my friends or family.

Abrupt, casual, needs staff to keep him organized, BUT clearly a complete professional who has seen pretty much everything and doesn't jump to a bunch of tests as defensive measures. OK

Exceptionaly the best heart specialist

We have no quarrel with this man's abilities, but he has very little bedside manner and was completely disrespectful and indifferent to the questions that we posed to him at the time of checkout. He told us "that we had a chance to ask questions the day before, and did not" and then continued to rant. We are in our 70's and have never witnessed this type of unprofessional behavior from a medical professional. Needless to say, we won't be returning to this particular doctor. There are many other good doctors in the system! When we asked to have some questions answered when he came to the room before checkout, he was abrupt, rude, disrespectful and totally unprofessional. Told us that 'we had an opportunity to ask questions the day before and didn't ask any!' His ability far outweighs his personality...but not his ego!

Dr. Haber is the best you will find in Charlotte. Wonderful man and great at his craft.
