Dr Garcia is such a kind and gentle oral surgeon. I highly recommend him and his staff

He and his Psych assistants really take the time to discuss your challenges, and the best options to help manage them.

The doctors are great but the front office is difficult to work with. I was charged a fee incorrectly and was told several times it would be waived. It took several follow up emails and calls to get it done

Rude, slow, incompetent billing, blatantly only cares about money. Unless this is the only provider covered by your insurance, look elsewhere. If you are wealthy and can afford out of pocket, do not go here for any reason. They also are horrible about Hippa laws, essentially screaming at the top of the lungs your full name across the waiting room and loudly discussing what medicines you're taking. What more is there to say, this office is Friendly, Professional, Courteous and Dr. Garcia actually cares and does not rush through his appointments. He and his staff will go out of their way to listen and accommodate a persons needs which is hard to find these days. Appointment times are almost spot on and never more than a few minute to wait if that. I should also mention the office which is rather large is impeccably clean. I've been going there quite a few years now so this is why I rate it 5 stars.

First appointment was with a PA, had to wait almost an hour. Front desk scheduled 2 follow-ups, when we showed up for the first one we sat there for 30 minutes and were told they had no record of our appointments, didn’t even know my daughter’s name and just let us sit there. Also asked to pay 20% when there for our first visit, they didn’t even run it through our insurance until I told them to, which covers at 100%. Noticed the charge to insurance was to Dr. Garcia at his rate even though we saw a PA. Sorry about the rant but have never seen such an unprofessional office, especially for mental health. No confidentiality as they call everyone up there to pay their bills. Definitely looking for a new clinic!

I wouldn't bother with this place, unless you're okay with waiting around for appts, missed appts (doctors/PAs just don't show up for video calls or they're late 15 mins to an hour) and unfriendly front desk folks. Not worth it - put up with this crap for years and wish I hadn't. They don't even apologize for their lack of time management or poor scheduling. Horrible customer service and disrespectful of their patients' time.

I have been a patient of Dr. Robert Garcia for over Five years. He is a world class Psychiatrist who I would highly recommend to anymore. He truly cares about his patients and is 100 percent commitment to them and there care. I am very grateful and thankful to have him as my doctor.

I was really pleased at how well he was attentive to my needs and was good about offering suggestions that'll help me. Thank you Dr Garcia!!!

I think Dr. Garcia is capable, as he did prescribe me medication that treated my symptoms well, but I do not like him as a person. He had me go to a pharmacy out of the way, and when I asked why I could not get the scripts filled somewhere closer to me, he basically admitted to how he has vested financial interest in sending his patients to this particular pharmacy. This just tells me he cares more about his financial well being than the well being of his patients. He also lacked empathy.

Dr Garcia has been my psychiatrist for over 7 years and has helped through many crises in my life. I am Bi-Polar and have ADD. I also utilize one of his therapists, Meredith, who has also been a great help for approximately 4 years. Although his practice is very busy, he has always made time for me and any questions I might have.

Novi Psychiatry and Psychology is THE most unorganized office I have ever dealt with. Keep all payment receipts! I had to prove payment several times due to the lack of organization and high turn over rate of employees. Very frustrating. I was doing their job for them. I wanted to send THEM a bill for my time.

Highly recommend Dr. Garcia!

This practice is a complete joke and unprofessional. The patient never saw the DR, but the PA billed at his high rates and the therapist bills at his high rates. The therapists are temporarily licensed and have little experience and are not supervised by the psychiatrist. Bad advice and diagnosis are given.

We have been seeing Dr Garcia for years. Since he has moved and added so many more staff the quality of care has gone downhill. I feel like it's a mill, just get your prescriptions and run. Dr Garcia use to talk to us all and felt he did a much better job before he just got too big. Sometimes bigger really isn't better.

Very disappointed with the service and hospitality here. Appointments were always about an hour late. The facility is not kid friendly...no toys, magazines...nothing for kids in the waiting room. Dr. and staff didn't work very hard to create a connection with my son. After making the decision to leave, I asked to not be charged for the initial evaluation. Dr. acted like I was insulting him. Little empathy. I've been teaching (for 18 years) in the area and would not recommend this office.

Dr. Garcia is among the best doctors that I have seen. He is without a doubt the best in my opinion. He very clearly evaluated my situation and lifestyle and managed to help me view things a bit differently with a few good laughs. We have established a very good Doctor/Patient relationship over the years. I enjoy my visits with Dr. Garcia and I always feel as comfortable as I do in my own home!

Although I know Dr. Garcia is certainly qualified, I don't like him. He hardly looked at my son and I and his manner was dismissive. The staff was rude, we were charged to pick up prescription outside of an appointment. I have never heard of that. My son's regular pediatric doctor now prescribes and monitors his meds. Will NEVER go back here.

Many years of horrible billing and record keeping. Hard to get an appointment, charged for ever single thing. To print records, monthly refilles. Just a place to get drugs. not other help offered. When the patient moves. Good luck getting records transferred. Bills and puts into collection on the wrong persons name. Totally no HELP law being kept here. My son is 27 and his records are still coming to his stepdads name. actually, step dads first name and son's last. 7 years trying correct.

Years ago I took my son, who was around eight years old at the time, to see Dr. Garcia. He might be better now, but he didn't talk to my son at all. Even though young children can't tell the doctor many things, they still need the doctor to show interest in them directly. I never took my son back and found another psychiatrist instead.

Dr Garcia is wonderful he is the best Dr I have seen when it comes to prescribing medications for metal health. He actually listens to you unlike some and works it out with you asking if you have any questions he is honest and strait forward
