My experience at Texas Orthopedics, specifically with Dr. Foster and his staff, was absolutely top-notch. I would highly recommend them based on my experience.

Dr. Foster was great. He took time to clearly explain exactly what was going on with my hand and wrist and what I need to have done to take care of it.

Dr Foster did wonders for my thumb. As a professional guitarist I am forever grateful. On a recent follow up after several years pain free I was equally impressed with the expertise of his PA, Dr Wright.

I developed painful thumb tendinitis in both hands that didn’t resolve after steroid treatment. Dr. Foster recommended a small surgical fix, which I had done a week and a half ago on one hand. The surgery went great, so I’m going to have my other thumb done too. Dr. Foster and everyone at the surgical center were very nice, professional, attentive and kind. I received great care there!

I had only one appointment but I was treated respectfully and professionally. I have selected Dr. Foster as my surgeon as he was attentive and thorough, and obviously very experienced with treating my condition.

Dr Foster is a great doctor. Very knowledgeable and very easy to talk to about concerns and he takes time with you. He looks you in the eye and doesn’t rush through the appointment. Very happy with Dr Foster????

Dr Foster is a very knowledgeable Physician in his field. He took time to explain the options available. My surgery went smoothly and a quick recovery completed the procedure. All his staff are very courteous and caring for all your needs.

Dr. Foster was able to treat my hands the same day of my 1st appt instead of having to come back. Injections done same day! Wonderful not making a patient have to suffer longer, come back in ten days. Awesome - all in one appointment! Thank you for this!!!

I really enjoy my visits with Dr Foster. He has the best demeanor, and I feel comfortable asking him my questions. You know you are in good hands with Dr Foster.

Dr. Foster is a super competent orthopedic surgeon at the top of his profession. I feel lucky to have such a caring physician for my doctor. His years of experience and depth of knowledge make him my go-to guy for orthopedic problems. I would unhesitatingly recommend him to my friends.

Dr. Foster is as nice as I remember him from my last visit fourteen years ago. Took me a while to find his office in the building, but it all worked out fine. What a pleasant surprise to be received into a health care environment that is doing so much to support the patient experience. I was in and out in 30 minutes, and I was prepared for two hours because, these days, sitting and waiting is par for the course. Staff were friendly and helpful and seemed happy to be working there. The place was super clean, well appointed and well staffed with no one running around looking over stressed or hangry. Dr. Foster was friendly, connected well as a human being (not a given in my experience), patient with my questions, and very thorough. Very efficient, attentive and courteous. Would recommend.

I had a very pleasant consultation with Dr. Foster. He gave me several options regarding my hand pain. I opted for the Cortizone shot and exercises. If the pain does not go away in a year I will get the operation.

Dr. Foster performed trigger release surgery on my thumb. From start to finish he was super nice and professional. The treatment was a success. I highly recommend Dr. Forster, his staff and Texas orthopedics for any orthopedic procedure needed.

He is an excellent physician who looks out for the best interests of his patients. I am a physician myself. I feel quite comfortable and confident to send him patients for care.

Dr Foster's office staff works very efficiently. I only waited 15 minutes and Robert,PA treated my hand and I was on my way home in less than 45 minutes. I would recommend him to everyone!!

When my son asked for a second diagnosis after he was injured in basketball, he gave meticulous explanations and certain-opinions, and help my son get a custom made thumb spica splint in one hour. He helped my son avoided a potential surgical and get a 100% chance to recover, also saved our wallets. After two months of correct recovery, his ligament has now basically recovered. I saw Dr. Foster last year for a basal joint reconstruction. It went perfectly. Now I am ready for carpal Tunnel surgery. They were able to schedule the visit & pre-op in one appointment, which saved an extra 3 hours of drive time for us. And I'm confident in the successful the upcoming surgery as well!

I have seen both Dr Foster MD and his PA-C Robert Wright and had steroid injections in my right hand for trigger finger issues. Both are very professional and results appears to be helping so far. If I do need further Tx ie: surgery I will certainly plan to have Dr Foster proceed. He was all for conservative injections first to see if that solves the problem. i was seen by the doctor within a few minutes of being placed into an exam room. the doctor gave a clear explanation of my condition & treatment options. my questions & concerns were addressed. it is nice to have an inperson medical appointment without feeling "rushed". Texas Orthopedics has high standards & they implement high standards. i use them for all my orthopedic needs.

My appointment was with Dr. Foster’s PA Robert. He understood exactly what was causing my pain and was very patient and answered all my questions.

I had bilateral carpal tunnel release, and I am happy to say I no longer have hand pain and numbness. Dr Foster and his team are wonderful, including the Anesthesia team and office staff. I would recommend them to anyone needing hand surgery, he is skillful, pleasant and friendly. He takes time to talk to his patients.

Dr. Foster is wonderful. I recommend him hands down as a caring and knowledgeable doctor. Texas Orthopedics response time is not wonderful. Left both land line and cell no’s. when not getting through to book an appt. No one ever returned my call and I had to call again the next day. Their online appt. scheduler does not work either.

Dr Foster is very knowledgeable and was thorough. Was great to have a surgeon who does not push surgery if it is not needed. He suggested some simple exercises as a start. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is none of my previous medical info was read prior. I had it sent a week early.

First time seeing this doctor, very pleased with his attention to detail. He fully explained my condition to me and gave me all the details concerning my required surgery. I feel confident that all will go well.

I have known Dr. Foster for years as a colleague and friend. And now as his patient! He diagnosed my problem as tennis elbow. He asked me to video on my cell the exercises I needed as he did them. Perfect way to learn! Now, once a day, this will be easy to do accurately. He also reviewed the anatomy of why each muscle group will alleviate and then prevent further problems. Dr. Foster has done 3 surgeries on my hands and I have been impressed and grateful for everything he is and does. I would trust Dr. Foster’s humility and complete honesty about any condition for which I am seeing him. Dr. Foster is the best! He has taken care of my hands with Arthritis, trigger fingers & dupuytrens contracture and always has options to help heal. I recommend him over anyone in the Austin, Round Rock area.

Dr Foster and his team provided an accurate diagnosis and same day treatment for my hand.

RUN as fast and as far away as possible! Totally incompetent. His failure to read a simple x-ray cost me the joint on my thumb. For four month he claimed there was no infection and my broken bones was growing back together. In reality there was a double staff infection that continued to chew away my bones and completely ate away the joint of the thumb. I told him the whole time I could not move the joint, it was purple and swollen and it was in constant pain. His reponse was this was normal and everything was going to plan. I finally had two other specialists look at the same x-rays and they both clearly identified the growing infection and how it was continually eating away at my bones and joint. Do your self a favor and stay as far away from him as you can. If your currently seeing him I strongly suggest you change to a real doctor before he does irreparable harm. Waited 40 minutes to see the doctor. When he got there he was nice to talk with and gave me some good advice.

First visit and I got surgery, follow up and rehab scheduled for later. Had to schedule a covid test on line elsewhere and that’s a pain.
