Dr. Dutton is the best! I have been to many dentists over the years, some great, some not so great. Dr. Dutton is one of the best I've ever been to. A great guy to talk to and also did great work. I used Dr. Dutton for many years when I moved from NYC to Ulster County. Then I moved to Florida and missed him. I used 2 dentists there but have often returned to Dr. Dutton for a second opinion. He is caring , competent and honest. i recommend Dr. Dutton as one of the best dentists there is and I am grateful for his talent. Linda Goldsmith

Dr. Dutton is one of those rare, old school practitioners, who personally handles all aspects of patient care from basic cleaning chores to complex interventions. His small office, staffed by a particularly pleasant and helpful receptionist, is well equipped. He radiates a sense of intelligence and empathy, while executing procedures with speed and efficiency. Having recently entered my seventh decade, I've had quite a few dentists and have come to value those with "good hands", which he has.

I worked in the dental profession as a chairside assistant for many years in the Woodstock dental community. I saw a lot of dentistry from many different dentists - there's no doubt that Dr. Dutton is head and shoulders above most! I chose him above all to be my dentist. He is gentle, and caring, as he works in my mouth. From the diplomas and certificates on the wall in his office, he clearly stays abreast of all the latest techniques and procedures. I have had many dental issues in my life, and as a result I am a most nervous patient. The most defining moment for me in relation to a dentist is how he/she handles my nervous condition. Dr. Dutton surpassed my expectations in this department. I had lost a very old filling and had to schedule an appt. to re-fill. Not only was it easy to schedule an unexpected appt., Dr. Dutton was very compassionate about my fears and did a wonderful job distracting me, giving me enough novocaine to make sure I would be unaware of any drilling, and quickly and efficiently repaired my tooth, thus earning my trust and respect. His receptionist Loretta is friendly and efficient and with enough (even a little) notice makes it is easy to re-schedule an appt. if necessary, which may be important to many people as you usually make a cleaning appt. 6 months in advance. Dr. Dutton is well informed of improvements and new technology in dentistry and has recommended a dental routine for me that has halted all the former troubles I previously had.
