Dr. Robert Eldred Drumm

Dr Drumm is the best! He has been our pediatrician for 13 years and we’ve had nothing but great experiences with him.

Excellent care, Dr Drumm was very attentive, thorough, and made sure to touch base with us in the days following treatment! Would recommend seeing him a thousand times over, he was heaven-sent for us!

Dr. Drum is not the physician that we usually see, but he worked us in on a Friday morning when our physician’s schedule was completely booked. We were in and out in 30 minutes but he was very thorough in his assessment and questions. He even took care of a couple of wellness recommendations while we were there, and got my daughter caught up on her vaccinations. He and his staff were kind and professional, and because they were willing to see us last minute, we had all of our concerns addressed before the weekend. I would absolutely recommend this physician.

Dr. Drumm is not our primary physician but he was the Doctor on call when we came in after hours. He was not patient & did not seem interested in what I had to say. He cut me off while speaking & rushed me along while I was trying to explain what was going on with my child. I found him a little rude & blunt the way he spoke to me. He made me feel belittled. He didn't allow time for questions and was walking out the door as I was trying to speak to him. I felt like we were a burden & an inconvenience to him. I have seen multiple pediatricians at the BR Clinic after hours who were not our primary Doctor (they were all great) and I have never felt that bad after leaving an appointment from over there until this appointment.  I don't know if it was because it was after hours and he didn't want to be there or maybe that's just his personality. All in all he is a Doctor who treated my child and found what was wrong with him which I guess is the only task of his job & the reason we went. I know it's more important for my child to be treated & to get well and my feelings aren't important in the world of medicine but I would have appreciated a little more kindness & respect. Dr. Drumm is a very laid back, not easily worked up physician but he is also extremely knowledgeable and has great patient care manner. If he tells you he is worried you better listen. He does a great job at reassuring. He is not easily overwhelmed and takes him time to know your kids, your family and educate you for their little futures to come; in regard to their health, growth and anticipatory guidance. Dr. Drumm is very, very, very easy to have a conversation with and a plus is that he listens to understand before he responds. My boys love him. His approach is genuine and kind. In addition, his nursing staff is absolutely amazing as well; very open and always smiling. Go ahead and schedule with Dr. Drumm you won’t regret it. Dr. Drumm is fantastic. We have been using him for 16 years for all my children. He is very thorough and will take the time to discuss any concerns and explain any procedures. His nurse and the staff there are great as well. For wellness visits, physicals or illness, I know he will do a great job.

I’ve got a 30 year old that was Dr Drumm’s patient as well as my 25 year old. He. Has been my children’s pediatrician for over 30 years and it’s the most awesome Dr in Louisiana.

Dr. Drumm is an amazing physician and person. With his medical knowledge and compassionate personality my family is so very fortunate to have him in our lives.

My girl has a bad cold, and we visited Dr. Drumm. He checked her patiently and was very good explaining the steps to follow for her treatment.

We LOVE going to see Dr. Drumm. Making an appointment online is super easy. The COVID-check in process is super easy. Dr. Drumm and his staff always make us feel welcome and heard. 10/10 recommend!!!

Dr. Drumm is great. He is very thorough and listens to all of your concerns. He takes the time to explain anything you have questions about and works with you until you find the best fit for your needs. Ive been brining my children to him for nearly 15 years and have no complaints at all.

Dr.Drumm is an amazing pediatrician, who treats both the child and parents as his patients. His bedside manner is perfect and his patience for this busy mom with 5 very young children is comforting and greatly appreciated. He has been the pediatrician for all 5 of my children since birth and will likely be their pediatrician in till the age out. I couldn’t recommend him as a pediatrician more vigorously if I tried. We’ve just chosen Dr. Drumm as our pediatrician based on the recommendation of a close friend. We’ve found him to be caring and conscientious as a practitioner. He also delivers information (he has been in practice for a long time and his experience is obvious) to first time parents in a way that is understandable. We are so far very happy. One of the best pediatrician you will find!

Dr. Drumm was very thorough and caring in his check up of my son.

So caring and considerate. Moderate in treatment plans so not quick to rush to a”quick fix” we love Dr Drumm and his team, and the easy access and communication flow through myChart.

He is an amazing Doctor. He was my husband’s pediatrician and now he is my son’s. His staff are always helpful and efficient. It’s simple to schedule appointments and he gives great referrals. Definitely recommend him.

It was great and thorough. That’s what I like about Dr. Drumm he very attentive. He has a great side manner.

When my boys regular Dr is unavailable we will always ask for Dr Drumm. He is very patient & understanding of my boys.

My son had a fever and sore throat. He tested neg. for strep throat and the flu. He took care of my son, as he always does. He has been my son’s Dr. since his birth almost 16 years ago. We love Dr. Drumm!

Dr Drumm is always wonderful

Daughter had diarrhea and fever. Got an appointment with Baton Rouge Clinic super fast. Dr. Drum had seen her before and either reviewed her profile before he came or remembered her. I was very impressed. He recalled what had previously been talked about and asked how that was going. He was very considerate of Abigail’s feelings. He spoke to her and asked for her permission to touch her and told her what he would be doing. He also spoke with us as adults not as children. I would highly recommend him.

He is not our pediatrician. We brought our baby girl in after hour because we thought she felt uncomfortable due to gas. After vitals, he seemed in a hurry and got out even before we finished our questions. We almost had to chase him out to get our question answered. First doctor we have seen like this.

Dr. Drumm truly cares about his patients and knows everyone by name. Hes even went as far as checking on us on his off day from his home.

Awesome bedside manner, attentive and engaging. The kids as well as the parents love him. He's a natural!!
